She also had the audacity to try to gaslight me when I relayed a conversation I had with her staff and she repeatedly insisted that the things I told her never happened. I asked the staff to run every test possible on all four of my dogs, then called back later and found out they hadn't included a heartworm test in the bloodwork we sent off, so I had to tell them to add that. 10 days later I noticed two of them had unhealthy stool and sent samples to the lab at A&M, where they all tested positive for hookworms -- so evidently they didn't do a fecal test either. I understand mistakes due to miscommunication or organizational error, but the staff was overtly unhelpful every time I called, and Helen told me blatant lies every time we talked.

I was very particular in choosing a place since the dogs were used to having a dog sitter come to the house 3 times per day. I searched and found a GEM called K's Mutt Hut! Katherine, Sarah, Daisy and the crew were great with the dogs. During my trip they sent videos of the dogs, and communicated with me anytime I had a question. This made my feel comforted. During our move, we boarded our rat terrier at a location in Dallas, where he contracted kennel cough. The Phillips clinic charged me over $500 to examine and treat my dog. One of the treatments included an anti itch pill called Apoquel . This pill must be divided into four equal portions and I give them to the dog once every 12 hours ; I was fully capable of cutting up the pill myself since he's been on this pill for several years, however the the clinic had an individual cut up the pills for me and charged me for their service; absolutely uncalled for; they should have at least have asked me if I wanted them to divide up the People leave this clinic to those who live out in the boonies south east of Washington County.

I heard about the VHR Ranch and decided to give them a call, Vicki's very sweet and knowledgeable of animals. Our dogs were very comfortable after meeting Vicki and so were we. Their kennels are very clean and they took special notes on feeding, exercise and medication. We received updates and pictures while we were gone which put our mind at ease, our boy was played with and exercised every day and Grace went on short walks. We got the full package and had them groomed before coming home, they were beautiful and smelled great!
