Looking for a new pet bunny? Don't have time for a dog.. go check out the bunny rescue in the back…read moreof Tule Springs park! Only open on Saturdays!! So many bunnies need your help! First time here and it was really cute, lots of volunteers help out and take care of them! Free to get in so thats a great value!

Bunnies Matter Rescue inside Floyd Lamb Park is only open on Saturdays from 10am-3pm…read more This was the first time I got to see the bunny facility. There were about 8 people taking care of the bunnies every need - fresh hay, clean playpen, fresh water, fresh lettuce, soft bedding, etc. I have never encountered a rescue quite like this one before. The building is like a small barn and it is delightful. These poor bunnies that don't have families yet are so well cared for. Every person there knew these bunnies like the back of their hand. They knew their personalities, when they got to the rescue, if they've been microchipped and spayed/neutered already. Adoption for one bunny is $100 and $150 for a pair. The adoption includes a long list of items at no extra cost: Exercise Pen, Tarp, Litter box, Food Bowl, Gravity Waterer, Bag of Oxbow Pellets, 42L Bag of Premium Bedding Pellets, Bag of Timothy Orchard Hay, Nail Clippers, Used Pet Carrier, Gas drops. They also spay/neuter the bunnies and take care of any & all medical expenses (about $200) prior to the adoption. Being an animal lover it was so heartening to see healthy, happy, groomed, and sweet socialized bunnies. If you want to interact with a bunny they let you into their pen to sit on the floor and interact with them. They even gave me treats to give the two I hung out with. I am still blown away days later by how amazing the people are that take care of these bunnies. They deserve so much more praise. They're incredible. Please go see these bunnies. Maybe you'll find a forever family member! :)

When I walked in the woman said, I bet you need a quiet cat - and she was right - Cassie, now Nugget and I are a perfect fit. She's happy and healthy.

Adopted a kitten from here…read more The staff is friendly and they let us bring our dog to meet the kitten in case they did not get along. I asked a bunch of times if the cat had any illnesses and they said she did not. As soon as I we put her in the car I noticed something was wrong. She was sneezing a lot. Took her home and set her up in her own space to feel comfortable. The next day the sheets were covered with blood! Immediately took her to the vet. She had parasites and an infection. I had to spend another $200 for the visit, fecal test, and medication. When I reached out to Lisa she did not offer anything. I believe all the cats there are sick. It is just the nature of the environment they are in. If one kitten has something it spreads to others. They also constantly get new kittens which can bring in parasites or viruses. I believe they knew the kitten had issues and they lied to us. This is not right and I am honestly shocked that they would lie to use about it. Even though our kitten is very sweet I would recommend going somewhere else! This place is not transparent and they will be done with you as soon as you hand over the cash.

We…read moredecided to make Mother's Day very memorable and get my wife a cat that needs loving and grow with a family. We run into Nutter Butter that had just arrived at the PetSmart on 2140 N Rainbow Boulevard. I believe his arrival date is 5/52026. My wife and I immediately love him, but our determination was based on how he reacted to our children. Our daughter is four years and our son turns two in July. We knew he'd be shy, but Nutter Butter responded very well to our children, and that's what made us take the leap of faith to bring him home. Less than twenty-four hours later, Betty the Adoption Facilitator sent me a text at 7:33am, denying our adoption request, and even went to the length of stating that she refrains from adopting to family with small children. She informed me to wait until my children get older, THEN at that point we can adopt a cat. I expressed to Betty that Nutter Butter was very receptive to my children and that's what made us sure in our determination to adopt him. I would like to state that Betty was not present for my family meeting Nutter Butter. After informing her that I felt this was blatant discrimination, and that I'd be filing a complaint, she immediately requested to meet her at PetSmart so we can discuss adoption at 6pm today. However, the initial encounter was so negative that I canceled the meeting. If this is how your adoption facilitators conduct themselves when dealing with families that want to give cats a loving home, then this adoption company isn't very helpful to the cats they serve. My daughter cried when I informed her of the very abrasive text message Betty sent me. What she texted me after in a disrespectful and condescending tone is what moved me to file this complaint. This really turned a hopeful and memorable moment into a terrible experience with this adoption company. Adoption Facilitators like Betty are hurting the company, and evermore the cats they continue to house.
