I'm so grateful to Diane, Nikki, and all the wonderful fosters at A Home 4 Spot for our sweet girl, Colette aka Louise. She's the missing piece to our family and we are all so in love with her.

How about 500 stars?!? If I could I would! - what words do I use? There's not enough to be said about the selfless people involved in this organization. My first encounter was about a year ago, I was trying to help two homeless dogs abandoned, because their owner had died. Wonderful! ... without getting all crazy, I have to say they performed immaculately. I have nothing but the highest praise. Recently I found myself in the hospital - it was totally unexpected. Nikki and Jennifer came to the rescue and gave Homie (my pup) a wonderful temporary place to live. Homie is a special dog, at 11 yrs he's gone from being "the Iife of the party" to "a very mellow fellow" He's got some health issues- so I was so relieved when Nikki knew exactly what I was talking about, when I described his regimen ( pills, etc) AND Jennifer ... well I can say, her picture should be in the dictionary under the definition of "angel" Homie has Cushings disease/Diabetes/cataracts and a bum leg. That translates to a lot of care in attention. He needs two pills every day to keep his adrenal gland under control (Cushings disease) he needs two daily insulin injections (with meals) plus a daily blood monitoring (that gets recorded and reported to the vet during what have been WEEKLY visits. I DID mention that Jennifer is a Angel...right? She even brought my Lil HomeSlice to see me in the hospital. AWESOME! ...AND that Homies a special kinda dog!

Wow. I got a rude response from Diana. My family and I have been looking for a dog and submitted an application on a fb post from Saturday 1/19 at 4pm that stated 2 dogs would be available in the next few weeks. I followed their instructions per their website and submitted an application and sent an email prior to 7am on Sunday 1/20. Diana sent an email back on Monday 1/21 that both dogs had been adopted yesterday, 1/20. I replied back saying that I understood but wanted to know the process was so that I would know going forward. Her response was "No." I really hadn't let my hopes get up since I've been let down so many times before but I was appalled at the lack of empathy from a local non-profit that "services" the needy pets in Las Vegas.

I want to thank Carrie for this awesome experience for our new fur baby. It was our first time adopting and it was a great experience. Thankful for our new addition.

    Sylvester!

I am beyond grateful for this organization! I recently adopted a 10 year old dog from Diana at A Home 4 Spot. Sylvester (formerly Mony), was rescued from a local shelter, because he was set to be euthanized for "fear-biting". I am so grateful that they took a chance on him, and enabled me to give him a second chance at life. Diana was very easy to work with when it came to the adoption process. Sylvester's amazing foster mom Kim was wonderful as well. They worked around my schedule, and even met with us on a Sunday. I was very impressed with how passionate Diana is about the rescue, and with how hard she and the team work around the clock to save these animals. I have stayed in touch with both of these wonderful ladies. I am definitely going to be adopting from this rescue in the near future!!

I adopted my Rylie nearly two years ago from A Home 4 Spot. They were compassionate and caring. They created a loving environment for the dogs. The staff was friendly and communicative. I plan on getting another dog from them when the time comes. And I live in Los Angeles!

I have adopted 2 dogs from AH4S- both seniors with special needs. This rescue has gone above and beyond for both. One had thousands of dollars of eye surgeries to help with her cataracts. The other was surrendered at age 17 with all types of issues. This rescue responded quickly and answered all my questions. I highly recommend.

This is a phenominal rescue. Really care about the animals in their care. They are very careful about who they let adopt or foster.

There were about 8 people taking care of the bunnies every need - fresh hay, clean playpen, fresh water, fresh lettuce, soft bedding, etc. I have never encountered a rescue quite like this one before. The building is like a small barn and it is delightful. These poor bunnies that don't have families yet are so well cared for. Every person there knew these bunnies like the back of their hand. They knew their personalities, when they got to the rescue, if they've been microchipped and spayed/neutered already. Adoption for one bunny is $100 and $150 for a pair. The adoption includes a long list of items at no extra cost: Exercise Pen, Tarp, Litter box, Food Bowl, Gravity Waterer, Bag of Oxbow Pellets, 42L Bag of Premium Bedding Pellets, Bag of Timothy Orchard Hay, Nail Clippers, Used Pet Carrier, Gas drops. They also spay/neuter the bunnies and take care of any & all medical expenses (about $200) prior to the adoption. Being an animal lover it was so heartening to see healthy, happy, groomed, and sweet socialized bunnies. If you want to interact with a bunny they let you into their pen to sit on the floor and interact with them. They even gave me treats to give the two I hung out with. I am still blown away days later by how amazing the people are that take care of these bunnies. They deserve so much more praise. They're incredible. Please go see these bunnies. Maybe you'll find a forever family member! :)

The doctor did an amazing job checking in on her after and ensured she was healing well. A few weeks after that I brought in a stray cat that I had been feeding over the summer to see if they had a microchip and they did, they called the owner who don't answer and left a message, they advised the steps and procedures, when I got home they called and advised the owner called back and said they didn't want the cat anymore, come to find out it was neighbors cat they left outside, I ended up bringing him in to get all his updated vaccines, thankfully he was already neutered, we also got a dental exam on him and had one of his teeth taken out that was hurting him, we also learned he had low muscle mass due to being left on his own. Originally, we had a reservation back home with our normal pet resort, but didn't want to be away from Beary for so long; We often have to drop him off a day before our trip and don't pick him up again until the day after we get back, so that's an extra two days without the little guy (and two extra days of boarding to boot). So we looked into the possibility of boarding him close to our hotel while we were in town. A family member sent us a recommendation to go to Buddies and my wife reached out to ask about vacancy for the weekend and the owners got back to us right away to let us know they would be able to take him in and walked her through the process of submitting all the necessary documentation and clearing him to stay. Our little guy is not fixed yet, so unfortunately, he was unable to be group boarded (which is typcial). Check-in was a breeze, and He had a nice large play area to have all to himself and was boarded in a private suite. They also took him out for a walk twice a day while he was there, as well as playtime with the staff constantly. What was really awesome was that they would send us pics of him during his walks, playtime, and before bedtime. It was really awesome to get the periodic updates...which really put us (especially the kids) at ease. And it was really reassuring to know he was close by to us. Staff was super nice and friendly. The consistent updates really made an enormous difference for us. Our usual resort does not do that...so that put them way above. They seemed to genuinely enjoy Beary's company. We would DEFINITELY bring him back here again on future trips (and that is more often than not) and I wish they were located close to home...or that we lived in Vegas so we could bring him more often...wishful thinking =p

If your first response without even meeting the puppy is to medicate it, if you're prejudiced against large breed dogs who's owner is reaching out to actually find the right help and answers, and if your response to someone disagreeing with you is to accuse them of 'being on something,' I don't understand why anyone WOULD have rejoined the zoom. I have my Furbo camera footage with audio of Eileen asking me 'if I am on something,' and me disconnecting the zoom. Over explaining the obvious doesn't explain that. 'Severe case of aggression' is insane for me having explained it was a high stress situation nip, ONE time in 12 years with my boy. Way to advocate. Hi Eileen, I did not refuse to accept that medication might be necessary. I respectfully refused to accept the first step in helping my puppy be medication failing a proper assessment and evaluation. I do not believe a 'severe case of aggression' from a trusted vet of 9 years would be referred without regard, and that immediate attitude of demonization of my dog is one of the reasons I ended the zoom with you. I think most of us with a working day to day common sense understand how prescriptions work. The emails to rejoin the zoom were also respectfully ignored as Eileen began to accuse me of being on drugs when I disagreed with her methods and analysis, thus ending the zoom.
