There aren't just books; there's toys, kindles, gifts, games and learning materials for kids. There's also a Starbucks (try the chocolate mousse cake!). They have a seating area here you'll find people reading or on laptops or just having a quiet conversation. Most importantly, the staff is always friendly. Sooner or later I always end up at Barnes & Noble. The store itself is your typical Barnes & Noble, absolutely teeming with books from titles you'll recognize, to works you never knew existed. If there's a subject, someone probably wrote a book on it, and you'll probably find it here. This place is typically on the expensive side, even more so if you're shopping for hardcovers. There's probably some better deals elsewhere. I'm a big fan of their B&N Classic and Shakespeare series - any classic tale you can think of, and most of Shakespeare's famous works all in one place, and for a pretty decent price. I have quite a few of these books in my own library. They usually have a lot of good deals on the older stuff, if you know where to look. In the center of the store is an area dedicated to their e-reader, the nook. You can get all sorts of accessories, as well as pay for the product itself here. I bought a nook here back when they first started selling them here, so it's one of the older models, but as far as an e-reader goes it's pretty awesome. Gives you access to the B&N Online store. I don't really need all the fancy benefits of a tablet and just enjoy having something I can put books on. A good third of the store is dedicated to children - they've got an amazing children's book section, and all sorts of toys for the tots way in the back. They also have an in-store Starbucks. So, it's hard for me not to fall for the charm. Recently the staff here has been so much better than they used to be, willing to reach out to customers and help as much as they can, as well as give suggestions based on what you're looking for/already enjoy. This bookstore is a treasure trove of literature, with shelves upon shelves of all genres of books. From bestsellers to hidden gems, there's always something new and exciting to discover. But what sets this particular Barnes and Noble apart from others is its excellent customer service. The staff is knowledgeable and eager to help you find what you're looking for. Not only that, but they can also order books for you. This is especially helpful for books that are hard to find or out of stock. But it's not just books that make this store special. There's also a Starbucks inside, which is perfect for a caffeine fix while browsing the stacks. And even if you're not a fan of Starbucks, the friendly staff will make you feel right at home. In fact, I had the pleasure of encountering the most awesome barista during my visit. She made me two delicious frappuccinos and we even chatted about our mutual love of Tim Hortons. Overall, my experience at this Barnes and Noble was a pleasant surprise. It's a bookstore that truly celebrates the written word, with an endless selection of books and a staff that goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. And if you're in need of a coffee break, the Starbucks inside is a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a drink. Barnes and Noble is pretty widely known, so I doubt I'd be saying anything that most of you don't already know. But here's the breakdown! -Atmosphere- When I think "bookstore," I immediately think "Barnes and Noble!" It's one of the best places I go to when I need to study or just relax. The inside has very inviting colors, there's a lot of space to either browse books, chill and read or check out a bunch of games/toys. The loudest it'll get inside is a dull roar, so it's great if you like having some background noise if you're ever working on something or reading. -Food- They have a Starbucks too! And if you've ever been there, you should expect the same quality and service that you're used to (and yes, similar prices too). Service is quick and friendly, and they occasionally go around giving samples of new teas or coffee. -Things to Consider- 1) Sometimes when I go, there are full-on book club meetings going on in the cafe section. While this is pretty expected at a bookstore, keep in mind that the noise levels may get a little higher (if you're looking to focus with minimal volume). 2) Outlets are quite sparse, unless you're sitting near a wall. read more

This is my favorite Barnes and Noble store in the area. I love the layout of the store, the nook section in the middle really brings the store together I feel. The store feels very open and it has a lot of space, but I also feel that this store has a bigger selection of books compared to other Barnes & Noble store in the area. I can spend hours browsing around the store without getting bored. While I love the convenience of my e-reader, it's still not the same as going to the book store, looking at the covers, reading about the books, and flipping through the pages. read more

I'm giving a 3 star because it feels a little unorganized (compared to other Barnes and Nobles) with some messy stands. They have a lot of vinyl records, accessories, and stationery, but I think there could be a little more variety of books. The Barnes and Noble here has a Starbucks with a lot of comfy seats inside to work or relax (again though, it's a bit messy). Also, the Starbucks in the bookstore is not an official Starbucks so they won't take your Starbucks card/rewards, but the triple chocolate chip cookie is pretty yummy! The couple of times I've been here, the Barnes and Noble staff were friendly, but not the Starbucks employees :( read more

My friend and I went here specifically for the statbucks. We were surprised at first by their menu, mac and cheese flat breads, soups, stuff you don't normally see at a starbucks. So we decided to try the mac and cheese. Needless to say it was HORRIBLE. absolutely disgusting. It came from a bag that was then microwaved and put into a cup. But it still managed to take 20 minutes for it to be done. It was, and i kid you not, milk over noodles. NO flavor at all. it was just simply ridiculous it made us both sick. I definitely do not recommend this starbucks they were not rude and didn't take their time with any of the drinks and i DEFINITELY do not recommend trying out the items on their menu especially the mac and cheese. -karlee read more

Barnes and Nobles has been one of my favorite place to go. I spend a lot of time in this place to study during my college year, to kill time, people watch or a place to meet for coffee. it is nice especially in the winter time if you don't want to be stuck at home and have some free time to catch up with some reading. If you enjoy reading some magazines, they have a huge selections from photography, cooking, wedding, DIY magazine, to magazines that give you ideas for your first tattoo. "Let's go to Barnes and Noble so we can read some magazines and drink some Starbuck's Mocha Frappuccino with double shots of espresso and tons of whipped cream. " Yes, they have Starbucks coffee inside this bookstore. They have tables and chairs for customer to enjoy some coffee, pastry or lunch from Starbucks. They also have a few cushioned armchairs available for those who like reading for hours and relax your eyes for a few minutes. It is kids friendly as they have kids' section. The staffs were very nice and helpful when asked about a couple books. The seating area can be busy during the day and in the weekend. They also have free Wi-Fi. So you can stay here as long as your bottom can handle. The restroom is somewhat clean. Parking is never a problem here. You can always find a spot to park. read more

Terrible experience. I went shopping there with my grandmother and she tried to pay for her $60 purchase with a $100 bill. They scanned her bill in their machine and told her it was a fake $100 bill!!!!!! They treated her like she was a scammer and were extremely rude. She was so upset and embarrassed. She ended up only being able to purchase 1 book because she only had a $20 bill with her, along with the $100 bill. We went to the bank the next day and confirmed that it was a REAL $100 bill!!!!!!! I hope this does not happen to other customers because it's quite embarrassing, and because of that experience we will no longer be spending our REAL money there. Barnes and Noble, I suggest you look into your faulty bill scanner because it not only lost you a sale, but it lost you some loyal customers. read more

This store is in a great location. It's easy to get to from any direction. The parking lot is adequate and usually not too crowded. I love the smell when I walk in: books, coffee, and baked goods, mmmmmm! The kids love checking out the Thomas section and all the other toys. There are some B&N exclusive versions of some of the toys, which is pretty neat. (Means you can't find them anywhere else!) There is a kids section where you can sit and read with your child. They also host events regularly, which is a great way to reach out to the community. There are quiet places in the grown-up sections to sit and read as well. It makes me wonder how B&N handles people who come in, pull a book off the shelf, sit and read for hours, break in the book, and then leave without paying for anything. I feel like that most definitely happens and I'm curious as to how they handle that. But anyway, this visit... I was looking for a particular book and was approached almost immediately by an employee asking if he could help. He looked it up and said that the book I wanted wasn't in stock, so he ordered it in. I gave him my contact info and expected to be contacted within a week. Easy peasy! I got a pleasant phone call about a week later and was told the book was ready, so I headed in. With a membership card, the cashier would honor the B&N online price vs the shelf price. At the time of ordering the book, the online price was $8 compared to the $16.99 msrp. Great deal!! But a week later, I was disappointed to find out at the register that the online price had gone up to $13. Still slightly cheaper than the list price but not nearly as good as it was at the time of ordering. I wish that I could have paid when I ordered so I could have taken advantage of the better price, so that's why I docked a star, because the prices change in the week you wait for the book to come in and there's nothing you can do about it. :(. The customer should have to pay upon ordering. You'd think that's good insurance for the store too, knowing that the customer has paid for the book and will have to show up for it. Otherwise, my experience with the staff was great. The two people I interacted with were super friendly and seemed to enjoy their jobs. I like people like that! Other than being disappointed in the fluctuating prices, I was still overall very satisfied with my latest experience and look forward to doing business with them again! read more

Great selection for a box book store when it comes to History and Literature. While the prices can be more expensive than Amazon, they're not terrible and it is nice having a large selection at ones finger tips to browse. I've found numerous nuggets of gold browsing the book shelves here, which has helped tremendously regarding various projects. If they left, this region is screwed. read more

I love this store. It's super nice and new. Well organized and has a lovely ambiance. I would happily go there myself or with my kids. Really a nice store for the whole family.
