I was in Fontana recently with my wife and finally got to try it out. This location has both a drive-thru and a walk-up window. I went to the window to order, and a very friendly employee greeted me. I explained it was my first time and asked for a recommendation. She suggested the Golden Eagle, which I ordered as an iced version. It's made with espresso, half-and-half, vanilla syrup, caramel sauce, and a caramel drizzle. It was sweet but tasty and refreshing. I would definitely get it again; it had plenty of caffeine, which is always a plus. My wife tried it and liked it as well. It was too late for me to have caffeine so i had a sparkling soda - the blue one (tropical?) - and when they said they could make it a slush i was intrigued! My husband got the blended golden eagle (the caramel and vanilla one). The girl taking our order was SO nice and welcoming since we said it was our first time. I got the soft top too. Unfortunately my drink was too watery. I think i shouldve left it as over iced instead of blending it. The soft top was delicious tho! I had a sip of my husband's and it was sweet and not bitter - i liked it! They had seasonal options too. I'd definitely be willing to give it another try if im in the area. Honestly just disappointed because I wanted the drink I always get, was told different reasons why I can't have it, and then was given the same thing but carbonated. This location juuuuuust opened up, not sure if a lot of people know about it yet but I pulled up and there really wasn't much of a line. Was hoping to get a lucky duck today for National Coffee day, asked one of the workers and let me down real easily that the ducks ran out 30 minutes ago. So I went to this exact Dutch bros location yesterday and the drive thru line was pretty long I figured if I just got off and ordered it'd be a little faster. Wrong , the guy working (he had braces) was very much rude. He began by telling me it would be a 20 minute wait because my order would come after all those in the drive through currently I said wow okay that's fine I'll wait . I ordered a golden eagle blended decaf with soft top. I waited for 15 min at that point all the cars had already went by and they were on there 3rd set of new vehicles in the drive thru when I went up to ask he was very rude and said not yet. He actually made me wait 25 minutes before giving me my drink with no soft top . When I went back to ask he proceeded to VERY RUDELY say I didn't ask for it took my drink and threw the soft top on there . At this point a 25 minute wait and the coffee was terrible. I drank less then a quarter and threw it away because if he claims he didn't hear I wanted soft top a big part of me believes he "didn't" hear the decaf part also . He really needs to show better mannerism or if mornings aren't his thing maybe he should do nights . read more
