It seems they're using the newer store model that does away with the actual movie sections. The focus is clearly on pop culture merchandise with tons of collectibles, unique snacks, and of course apparel. There are, however, some Blu-ray's depending on the seasonal displays set up in the store. But the main demographic for this location is definitely collectors. With it being the newest location to pop up in the state, they've got fresh inventory so it's great to find things that have been harder to find in other FYE's or other stores in general. Alan even took the time to play each album we were purchasing to ensure sound quality. On top of it all, he was incredibly hospitable- offering us a seat and answering any questions we had about his former student, Frank Iero. Found the store without a problem but parking is ridiculous. Not the stores fault. Upon entering the store you have to be amazed at the sheer volume of merchandise. Stacks and stacks of dvds and records. One small area is semi organized otherwise good luck. Count Basie mixed in with NY Dolls with Stevie Wonder behind Roy Acuff. Good luck. Spent about an hour going through the rows and found a few albums that I don't have. Nice! Some albums were priced, most aren't. When I asked the owner he said just give them to me and I'll work up a price. Not the way I like buying a bunch of records but I gave him about 8 or 9 to see where they were in pricing. (The priced albums were about what you'd expect to see). He then prices them based off of eBays listings. Not even sold listings but what people are asking. Albums that should be in the 3-5.00 range 15. Others that should be in the 8-10.00 range 25. Nope. I asked for the stack back and started putting them back where I found them. He realizes what I'm doing and wants to play lets make a deal. Instead of 25 for that, how about 20? How about 18? Sorry. I don't mind spending money, but I don't play this kind of stupid game at a register. I left empty handed. Do not see myself going back.

Very fun to spend an hour or two browsing. Ya never know what you might find in that next row of albums! Also, this store participates in Record Store Day! I'd recommend making it one of your first stops if you're in northern Jersey and looking to participate in the festivities! They seem to always have at least one copy of every major release coming out.

Owner/worker there is very rude. I read books. I know how to carefully look at books. I am so…read morerespectful of the books that I don't touch them unless I am interested in it. The guy literally saw me carefully let the book slide out of the sleeve and the guy gave me a lecture on how to do it properly, which is the way I did it, and what not to do. At one point, I had my phone out to see what books I am still looking for and which ones I have and the guy said that I need to put my phone away and use two hands to look at books. I wasn't even touching any books!! I thought this customer service was terrible. I don't need to be lectured how to look at a book when I'm not even touching any of them after he gave me the proper way to take a book out of its sleeve, which I did correctly. Also, the book price on the sleeved book is not the same as what the sign said on top. The sign was more and he said that no prices are written on the books with a book sleeve, which was a complete lie.
