Selections- I love business books and self-help, while my husband is a total history nerd. This store has a really good range of all of those. They also carry a wide variety of cookbooks, romance (Emily Henry, Julia Quinn, anyone?), plenty of fiction, and even the popular ones trending on booktok too. Right from the bare minimum classics to spiritual books, religion, philosophy, and all that intellectual catnip, they have it all. Value- I love their deals the most, which also makes things a little difficult because they convinced me to buy more books than I originally signed up for! Why it matters- In an era where most books are accessible at our fingertips, I still love having physical copies of certain titles, and I'm so glad Books-A-Million is helping preserve that experience.

So this is a massive bookstore, music store, video store, toy store that specializes in buying used items and reselling them. It is a great place to offload things you don't need and get a little cash on the side. I have a touch of sensory bias, which is why it's difficult for me to enjoy it. But I totally understand why others do. If you are planning on selling stuff, make sure you get there early. If not, when they open there will be a line not of people wanting to sell stuff just people wanting to get in there to check out anything new that came in the night before. It is always busy so do not expect to come and it not be packed. If that is an issue for you probably not your place. But a big plus is the parking lot is absolutely massive. Who knows, but I oddly love it. BAM is filled with tons of books; fantasy, biographies, self-help, etc. Beyond books they have tons of my fave, Funko Pops, t-shirts, vinyl records and a huge kids selection. The kids selection is a mix of young adult and toddler books. There's even a clearance section with books 50% off! I didn't buy anything this time around, but I did eye a few Batman graphic novels and a Stephen King memoir. Bonus, there's coffee shop inside the building!
