We were somewhat surprised to find Pop Mart blind boxes for sale, but these seem to be finding their way in many stores. Customer service on the floor was non-existent during our visit, but we really didn't need any help. Checkout at the register was quick and friendly. It's a nice location with other large retailers nearby -- Target, HomeGoods, TJMaxx, BestBuy, etc. Parking is not an issue in the large plaza.

Right from the bare minimum classics to spiritual books, religion, philosophy, and all that intellectual catnip, they have it all. Value- I love their deals the most, which also makes things a little difficult because they convinced me to buy more books than I originally signed up for! Why it matters- In an era where most books are accessible at our fingertips, I still love having physical copies of certain titles, and I'm so glad Books-A-Million is helping preserve that experience.

The only negative thing I could possibly say about this awesome place was the young guy with glasses that rang me up at cash register two. After setting my basket down and getting out my credit card, I realize he must be waiting for me to get the books out, so no problem, I'm not above that. He waits for me to get all my books out, scans them, and that's it. Doesn't give me a bag to put my all my books in, or even help put back in the basket. No words to indicate the interaction is over until I awkwardly realize it on my own. He was very off-putting. I will still be back because this place, otherwise, is amazing and I want to bring some family members and friends who I know will have fun too.

She found McKay's online and it seemed to be the best place to do that. Wow -- we were not prepared for the massiveness of this super, super busy place! Being our first time and not knowing how it all worked, it didn't take us long to figure out where to go and what to do. There wasn't much of a line when we started. We placed her books in a bin, then waited to be called by a greeter. Our greeter quickly explained the process, gave the daughter a claim ticket, then we waited. In the 40 minutes it took for her claim number to come up on the screen, we were able to walk through most of the sections and pick out a couple things to buy. I was quite surprised to find so many things beyond books -- DVDs, VHS, vinyl records, CDs, cassette tapes, clothing, Pokémon cards, instruments, game consoles, accessories, Legos, toys, comic books, etc. It was seriously amazing. My daughter decided to take her sale in trade which gave her about 50% more to spend. For the books they didn't buy she was given the option to take them back or donate them there. She chose to donate. The husband loves old movies, art and music -- he will absolutely enjoy McKay's. I can't wait to bring him here! The parking lot is as massive, so I don't think there's ever an issue with that.

They also have an incredible array of magazines and a nice coffee shop. One area of the store is set aside for closeout and sale editions at incredible prices. I would also like to add that the staff there is very helpful and friendly. It makes for an enjoyable place to spend an hour or two. Located in the Providence Shopping Center in Mt. Juliet, there is plenty of parking.
