We were driving by, and noticed Barnes and Noble nearby so we pulled into the parking lot and noticed plenty of parking so I pulled into the parking lot, not very busy, we parked and came into B&N I love this bookstore one of the few real book stores around. So many mom-and-pop stores have closed. This is one of the few still around. If anyone is looking for a book or magazines, please support your local bookstore instead of ordering online. If they don't have what you're looking for they can order it for you. This Barnes and Noble is big they have upstairs and downstairs, some kids' toys, and books, so many books you have to find one that you like. Highly recommend bringing your child here and looking around, you'll find something you like.

This location is a lot more chill than the other ones that I have been to. They also have a gorgeous selection of classical books. Thankfully, I don't have to deal with the parking situation since I work close by and can walk here. However, I can see how that could be an issue for others. Perfect place to walk around and get lost in.

I've been coming to this Barnes & Noble for a long time -- honestly at least once or twice a week. I love reading, collecting books, and spending time in bookstores, so this location has become one of my favorite places over the years. Spanish is my first language, and one thing I always appreciated was their Spanish books section. I know that section extremely well, to the point where I can practically tell you where every category used to be. That's why I was genuinely disappointed during my last visit. Out of what used to be the Spanish section, about one entire shelving area was completely empty, and most of the remaining shelves had been replaced with books in English, even though the signs and category tags still said "Libros en Español." At this point, only a small portion actually contains Spanish books. When I asked about it, I was told the Spanish books were "still there," but that completely missed the point. The issue isn't whether a few Spanish books remain -- it's that a section that once felt intentional and welcoming now feels reduced and neglected. As someone who visits constantly and truly values bookstores, I really hope Barnes & Noble continues investing in Spanish-language readers and communities instead of quietly shrinking the selection.

"For my whole life, my favorite activity was reading. It's not the most social pastime." ― Audrey Hepburn Book reader here. As technology advances,.bookstores are disappearing. Kindles, Audiobooks, and Apps has become the new wave of reading. I still prefer a book in hand and Barnes & Nobles is my preferred choice. Let's jump right into this review. Book stores I find to be calming and relaxing as you stroll the many genres your imagination can explore and the knowledge you can acquire. Barnes & Noble in Torrance is located on the same land as the De Lamo Mall. You can see the building from Hawthorne Blvd. This location is two stories and much to explore. Pros 1. Large location. 2. Welcoming staff. 3. Large variety of Legos including some hard to find sets. 4. Large Harry Potter section full of books and knick knacks (some cool stuff). Cons 1. The parking lot is shared since this location is in close proximity to the mall. Parking can be challenging during peak hours and weekends. I wish we had more book stores. Barnes & Nobles have been around since 1873. First started out in Charles Barnes home. First store opened in 1917 by his son in New York City. The Barnes family is doing something right. Stop in and grab a book.

This Barnes & Noble is huge and really nice. Unfortunately, parking can be a nightmare since this B&N is located right in the parking lot of Del Amo Mall. So crazy busy with the parking situation. I ordered a book for my son online for store pick up. Convenient. There was a short line when we arrived. They asked to check my email with the barcode from the online order and then I was done. Easy peasy. Need to come back to really roam the bookstore and hang out here. Beautiful Barnes & Noble.

One of the biggest Barnes and Nobles I have ever seen. Two stories, Starbucks Cafe, Parking mixed with mall spots. Very organized and clean.

I arrived at the store before it opened to try and purchase a Dodgers World Series newspaper. Others had the same idea, so we formed a line. When the manager or the help desk lady opened the door, she informed us that this location does not sell newspapers. I checked the store shelves, but there were none. I'm not sure if this is true, but I'll check again throughout the week.

It's a solid Barnes & Noble location. It's located in the Del Amo Fashion Mall parking lot. 2 stories and there's a cafe inside. As many B&N are now, it's mostly a gift/toy shop if anything, but looks like there's a decent amount of books and the workers are keeping on top of what is trendy now aka BOOKTOK suggestions. Bathrooms were not disgusting, but not the greatest either to be honest. Also nothing against this location but I gotta talk with the workers who are in charge of the suggestions in the manga section. Either you yourself are a casual or you're trying to appeal to more normies or casuals out there, but all of the suggestions were either already known series aka Sailor Moon/Death Note or the big shonen/seinen series that already have anime adaptations aka Demon Slayer, Kaguya-sama, Rent a GF (lord help us), etc. PLEASE I AM ON MY KNEES BEGGING, CRYING, & THROWING UP. PLEASE READ DIFFERENT MANGA/MAKE DIFFERENT SUGGESTIONS. There are so many other great series out there!

The cashier and staff were professional and friendly. I appreciate the books on the round tables change their locations from time to time (eg. Moving between 1st floor vs 2nd floor, etc) ; it exposed me to genres I usually avoid.

This is my go to Barnes & Noble! The staff is so nice and helpful! This location has a good selection. The café is my go to spot as well plenty of seating. I tend to frequent this location at least once a week!

I'll start this review by saying I don't think it's fair that other yelpers gave this entire…read morepublication one star based on one staff member writing a bad review of a band they like. I did contact these yelpers to see what their issue was and after hearing their side understand their frustrations, but don't think it's right that they dole out one star reviews when even with their own admission they've only ever picked up the one issue that included the review of the band they like and considering none of them live anywhere near the community this publication serves. Bearing in mind that this is a local weekly paper I think they do a great job at keeping the community posted on things happening in and around the beach cities. I can always rely on the Easy Reader to let me know what events are coming up, what the hot issues are on each City Council's agenda, whose running for office, what new businesses have come into town and what bands are performing in my area. (Even the ones with irrational hot headed fans) The Easy Reader offices have also served as my polling place : )

I needed a DBA for new company and the city hall recommended I go see Easy Readers so they can do…read moreit for me. So I went and met with the super friendly Judy! She was so sweet, when I came in, she was on her way out but since she is the one processing the DBA then she went back and helped me out. She was patient and super nice and we filled out the application right then. I then went to the UPS store, she told me which to go for the closest and she waited for me to come back. She called me the next day to tell me that the docs were ready and that I could pass back anytime. I went back and she was waiting in the driveway, I even didnt have to get of the car. That was a 5 star service! I really appreciate nice people who care about other and helping. Good job EasyReader and Judy for providing this service!

Easy Reader - So over folded, you can't even read it. Their advertisers should realize nobody reads a wadded up piece of paper!
