I went to the store to buy my friend a few things for her birthday. When I was at the cash register, this lady was incredibly rude to me. I tolerated it until it was time for me to pay for my items. I was having trouble paying for my items with my debit card because I was not familiar with the card reader. Instead of helping me, the cashier gave me an attitude as if I was wasting her time. I returned my items before I left the mall. That lady needs to check her attitude. read more

I have been wanting to review this store forever. I've been a fan of Sanrio since I was a little girl, my favorite was Kerropi and now it's Cinnamoroll. I went to their old store in Carson and I've love them since then. They have the same nice staff, esp Karla. She's been with them forever. They always have a lot of selection original from Japan. This store is not cheap but it is totally worth it. read more

The store is soooo cute! Staff is super friendly and helpful and there's a mix of merchandise to choose from. Prices are a bit on the higher side. The quality and cuteness make it totally worth it though. Everything is organized so nicely and very clean. Definitely a must visit if you love Sanrio or need a gift to make someone smile! read more

It's currently out of stock online so I can't find the original screenshot. The closest thing I found was a post from another location selling the same thing for retail price, the same price as it was on the Sanrio website. I'm so glad there's still a Sanrio store in the area so I always try to support it! They have a good selection of items and everything is very clean and organized. Most of the people who work there are nice and friendly, sometimes it can be an awkward vibe but whatever. I miss how warm and welcoming the old store in the 90s felt, but this is good too. And if you're complaining about the prices, legit Sanrio items are always a bit pricey. You have to know that going in. The cheaper Sanrio items can be found at Target. This is the cooler stuff from Japan so it is what it is. read more

Support small business! When Sanrio Gardena closed due to the pandemic; the owner Mie told of us customers that we should all support their sister Sanrio stores so that they do not suffer the same fate. It was such a nice sentiment and something I do keep in mind now that there is only one Sanrio store in the South Bay. I love Sanrio and Sanrio Del Amo has such an amazing selection. Del Amo mall inside stores are currently closed to the public due to Covid but Sanrio Del Amo is open for curbside pick as well as shipping. I've shopped curbside pick up several times now and it is so easy and convenient. I send the store DMs through instagram and which items I like. Once I'm ready to pick up; I park at one of the designated parking slots at the mall. I call the store and tell them which slot I am at and they come down and give me my purchase. At a time when there is so much sadness around the world; I'm happy to support a store that brings so many smiles to many. read more

The location of this store has recently moved to the main strip of the mall, not far from where they used to be located next to Dick's Sporting Goods. They still have their large selection of Sanrio, Hello Kitty items in all of its various shapes and forms, which include but are not limited to: purses, suitcases, jewelry, pens, notebooks, onto things like toasters and waffle irons. Though not a large shop, this business is just the right size. It is very well organized and the various Hello Kitty characters are separated into their own sections. The staff here is always nice and helpful. Again, if you want that Hello Kitty item as a gift or for your own collection, this is the place to go. read more

I walked in here with my family of 3 and was very uncomfortable after being watched very intensely the entire time (like we were going to ste/al products?) even though we were the only people in the store. We are all AsAm girls btw. We ended up spending $400 jointly and we were still treated horribly at the cash register as they weren't friendly at all, and we even asked if we could have an extra paper bag that we liked the design of, and despite paying $200 on my part myself, they were so freaking stingy and were adamant on only giving us one paper bag per customer (all which were the same design and size due to how much we bought). Really?? Horrible, I only remember that it was a boy and a girl working on staff, but neither were helpful or welcoming at all. By the way there is another reviewer who had the same exact experience as me that's hidden. Would not recommend shopping here or on their online store read more

This is a really cute store, located right outside of Dick's Sporting Goods inside the mall. It reminds me of the Sanrio stores from when I was a kid. There are all kinds of prints, from the old school iconic ones to newer, more trendy ones. This location has pens, pencils, makeup bags, luggage and luggage tags, weekend bags, backpacks, dolls, phone cases, stickers, erasers, pencil cases, and it goes on and on... Do you remember the little gums and candies that Sanrio used to sell?? Yeah, well that's the only problem I had...they no longer have it because the company that used to make it went out of business. That really sucks, because that was my main reason for going in that day. The lady there was very friendly and she said that they are building a party area in the back. So they plan to host birthday parties, tea parties, or a girls get together back there. Oh, so many lovely things to purchase at the local Sanrio store. The location they moved from was much better than where they are located currently. They are located on the second floor, on the right hand side of Dick's sporting goods, when walking to it from within the mall. I would consider it a small store, but they carry a nice variety to choose from. For example, purses, plush Hello Kitty, pens, badge holders, cups, etc. I did not notice any clothing, however. They do carry a nice selection of sterling silver jewelry and watches in the counter case. They have a small area in the back for private parties. It is only large enough for a few toddlers. If you plan to only go shopping at Sanrio, I would recommend parking in front of Dick's and walking through the store. read more

This store was difficult to find in the mall. It is located next to Dick's Sporting Goods. It is small, but we'll kept space. I was greeted right away. I found the small notebooks I wanted and could not resist purchasing a crossover bag. I love it! The young lady at the counter helped me pick between 2 different purses. Overall, I'd return to browse although it is much smaller than the Sanrio in Arcadia, for example. read more

Better than the old Sanrio store before remodeling. It has moved from the north side to the side by Crate and Barrel. Do your Joann's crafts shopping, grab the escalator on the north side of Joann's to Dick's Sporting Goods and you are there, right next door on the 2nd floor. Tons of free parking, and lots of other nearby shops and restaurants, to make the trip worth the effort. Hum, talk about a double delight, Joann's and Sanrio are a natural combo. I love the Sanrio characters and they have a great range of classics to the new ones, directly from Japan. This is a great go to place when I have to get a gift for a little girl or a big girl, who's inner girly girl needs some love and encouragement. They have a huge range of products. Even if you are buying for a true fan, you will find things they don't have in their collection. They have stuffed animals, hats, pencils, pens, crafting things, backpacks, watches, jewelry, odds and ends, all blessed with cuteness and irresistible charm. Today i went to take my granddaughter who is only 9 years old to Sanrio to spend her birthday $$$ which she was very excited to do. Unfortunately we had such an unpleasant time there at the Del Amo mall location. The cashier (Karla per receipt) was so rude and treated us badly. She stood guard over us and watched us like a hawk the entire time. As my granddaughter shopped and tried to decide what she wanted she asked if we wanted a plush which we had set down on a counter because we had not yet decided on quite yet. A lot of their items were not priced so i had to ask for pricing on a few items a few times and she gave me a dirty look each time. We felt unwelcome, rushed and very uncomfortable. If there had been another location close by, i would have walked out of there and gone elsewhere. This lade lacks some serious customer service skills and and needs to be trained properly. I myself will not be returning to this particular location. read more

I LOVE THIS STORE!! I have been a huge Sanrio fan since 1992 when I was almost 5!! And for many years, I have missed the old Sanrio Surprises that used to be at here at the Del Amo mall back in the 90's that closed about eleven or twelve years ago and am now thrilled that it's back !! The workers here are always nice and sweet and helpful to the customers. There is loads of wonderful Sanrio merchandise here with characters that date back to mid 70's like My Melody and the 80's like Pochacco, Tuxedo Sam, and Cheery Chums!! I love that they have a lot of Keroppi, Pompom Purin, and Monkichi as well. This place is AWESOME!! I'm very girly and sweet and this is the perfect store and gift store for me. I love their stationery, accessories such as pouches and tote bags, and the stuff animals!! Every time I'm in here, I'm a little girl again and back in my childhood. I'm in heaven every time I am here!! I'm like a kid in a candy store every time I'm here. So many sweet stuff and so little time and limited amount of money but I love this place no doubt and I come here all the time I come to this mall so it's alright.
