They also have a farm shop with lots of things from Olive oils, jams and jellies to hats T-shirts and lots more. They also sell fresh meats and foods. Farm to table. On a $1500 puppy these people rarely responded to our requests for an update on when we could come and choose our puppy and then when October rolled around they said a family emergency arose and they would keep us informed. After waiting another couple of weeks and lots of attempts at contact, we were told that we'd be moved to another litter in December. No explanation on why we were being moved, when exactly we could expect our puppy or anything. Then from mid October til late November we were constantly ignored at every attempt to get at least an update on our puppy. At this point we just wanted to cut ties and move on to a different breeder so our kids would definitely have a puppy before Christmas so we asked for our deposit back. Not only have we not received our deposit back, the owners have stated we won't be getting it back and to just move on. Now our only and final recourse is a lawsuit which we are in the final process of filing and a better business bureau filing which they are treating unbelievably flippantly as well. So like I said, worst and most unprofessional business I've ever dealt with. Highly recommend using another breeder.

It's small and just by the wayside, but it has locally farm-grown fruit, vegetables, specialty and locally brewed ciders, cooking sauces, smoked meats, desserts, and snacks. I pick up some of the Scuppunong Ciders, Old-Fashioned Apple Cider, and some fresh tomatoes and skins. It looks so much like some of the local markets I would visit as a child with my parents and Grandmother, so I was in the midst of all kinds of nostalgia here. The owner is so sweet and welcoming, and she was very accommodating. This place is the epitome of Southern and Georgia-grown delicacies, and I'm so pleased that I'll have the chance to visit often. Strawberry fields forever!…read more I visited Elliot farms with my family to attend a birthday party for a friend of my little niece. The place is great! It's about a 20 minute drive from Macon, and offers all sorts of fun things for the kiddos... and for your inner child! The farm has horses, miniature horses (Li'l Sebastian!), cows, and goats -- they even had a brand new baby goat when we visited! You can feed the animals, play around the farm, get freshly churned strawberry ice cream, and, of course, pick your own strawberries! They have a little covered barn area where the actual birthday party took place, and the best part is that they have REAL bathrooms available for use -- cleverly disguised as old-school outhouses. They're cute. I'd highly recommend taking a trip out to Elliot Farms with the family any time. We had a great time and left with pints of strawberries to remember the trip by.

Once there, it was a little confusing to figure out where to go for peach picking as there's so much happening (food truck, ice cream, boiled peanuts, fresh produce, other u-pick produce like blueberries and wildflowers) but the staff was super nice and pointed us in the right direction! (Side note: before picking, we hit the restrooms which were Port-a-potties. They were fine but just fyi and bring hand sanitizer!) For peach picking, we paid $30/bucket which was a totally fair price for the amount of peaches we were able to pick! (My group of 5 split a single bucket and brought more than enough home). The picking was good and the staff was super helpful with telling us how to pick and what to look for in good fruit. We brought our own bags but they also offered paper bags which was nice. After, we had both the strawberry and peach ice cream! The peach ice cream was honestly pretty mild but the strawberry ice cream was SO GOOD and creamy and hit the spot after picking. Overall, such a great experience fruit picking and highly recommend if you can go!
