Always go to Chick in California. We had a famous treat to come across this place in Griffin. The staff is super nice. The manager came over to politely tells us that the biscuit are not served after 10:30 am . I had to settle for the chicken and waffles. The coffee and drinks were available for refill over and over. 1st experience with drive thru here. Service was up to standards & got thru with courtesy, speed & efficiency. Food is another story. Fries were cold & stale at 11am. How do you have that when lunch service just started? Even the nuggets & sandwich were room temperature. Come on, kitchen, the wait staff works too hard for you guys to drop the ball! I have always loved this restaurant. It has always been a good down home cooking restaurant with respectful and courteous service. But after what I experienced today, Truett Cathy would turn over in his grave! There were 4-5 young people standing around the drive through window just cutting up. They were not willing to listen to their supervisor when he saw a line of people waiting to order food. And the one old lady there who wound up taking the orders actually got very put out with my slowness and began to scream at me. We showed up with a large group of parents and teenagers close to 9:00 pm for the dining room. They served us cheerfully, food was fantastic, and it was a great experience. We were all so appreciative and enjoyed a great dinner! I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area. read more

Me and my wife and daughter visited Truett's Grill at 1455 N Expressway Griffin Ga 30223, on March 23,2023.We enter the restaurant at 8:50pm the manager asked if it was dine in or togo, I reply dine in for five and a baby and that the rest of the party is on the way , and he looks up at the clock and then gets the menus, I can tell he has a little attitude.We sat down and place drink order with server.I see the manager go lock the door at 9:00 as fast as he can.My son and his girlfriend and newborn baby are in the parking lot .The manager comes over to the table and said he need to take my order, not the server,I tell him my family is at the door could he let them in, he tells me no ,I look at my watch it is 9:02. We had to leave the restaurant and go to Zaxbys. I understand that the restaurant closed at 9, but 2mins after and I told him they were coming, The restaurant is open till 10:00pm drive thru so its not like the kitchen was closing down.I would expect this from any other restaurants but not from a above and beyond customer service restaurant like Chickfila. Maybe he needs some more training ,maybe he didn't like the way my family looked, I will not visit this location again. read more

First time I've visited truetts here in griffin. I went in during breakfast time and it was very busy There is plenty of parking and the restaurant is very clean. Including the restroom. I sat at the bar area and was waited on within a few minutes. My food came out pretty quick but the chicken in my chick fil a chicken omelette was a bit cold. Still tasted good but could have been more fresh. Served with biscuit and grits. Both hot and fresh. My only complaint is that the server didn't really anticipate any of my needs. Seems like I had to chase her down to get things like Jelly, butter, a refill on my drink. Regardless, I will be back. Chick fil a is always a safe option no matter where you are at. read more

First of all there is ALWAYS terrible service! I was going to order a frosted dr. pepper (literally dr.pepper mixed with ice cream). They told me they couldn't do that! I have ordered it many times before! I asked them if the machine was messed up and they said it worked! My conclusion is that they are just rude and lazy! The staff is awful! I love Truett's/ Chick-fil-A but I will be fine never dining at this location again until they change staff. They were very young and reckless. Throwing and dropping things around the restaurant. They friends in the restaurant sitting at the bar gossiping the whole time, never actually did there job. Manager looked older but acted just as immature as his sorry workers. Coleslaw was dry and nuggets were hardly fried. Under our table was nasty and the manager just stool his foot under to move it around. read more

The breakfast buffet is incredible, something we like to do every Saturday morning. Or at least once a month. There is endless chicken patties, biscuits, gravy, bacon, sausage, eggs, and grits. THIS CHICK-FIL-A is the WORST!! They try to serve the drive thru at a fast pace, but it does not work for this location. I have received the wrong order on multiple occasions. How hard is it to follow the screen and check the food to ensure that everything is correct? When they give you the wrong order and you say something, they act as if it is your fault. It becomes very frustrating when you have a 30 minute lunch and you have to spend extra time there because they have messed up. I was not served with a smile or a positive attitude.
