Lots of different activities: tot spot, experiment area, puppet show, acting stage, bear cave, construction zone, wind tunnel, mountain top medical center, bridge to fish off of, light lab and so much more. They sell snacks and drinks there too. You can come and go throughout the day. We took our 1 year old. She had so much fun! I think this place could be good for kids up to 8 yrs old ish.

While he used the bathroom, we looked around the Welcome Center. I wanted to pick up a $2 little pamphlet which shared information about the historic homes along Main Street but no cash is accepted and I didn't feel like putting $2 on my debit card so I didn't get the pamphlet. Oh well, we're still walking down Main Street. Museum was closed.

It wasn't an…read moreaccidental stumble, it was a very cute discovery of a little bit about Colorado, taxidermy and amongst other things. They have donation box which thankfully also has QR code to donate in case visitors do not have cash. Quaint yet spoke volumes.

Most people would overlook, but I grew up with it, all my relatives previous to me did it for a living. I was forced to as a kid, needless to say at the time a hated it. But I didn't really appreciate being forced to work with my hands. I wanted to play basketball. In the park, lots of out buildings tell about life in the late 1800s. There is a teepee, a jail, a home, a store...and more showing films and exhibits of the times. Look for the brown schoolhouse with the sign. Check out the big sign for noon talks and music. All free. Lots to do and see here.

We were left to admire the artist's work and envision what it might look like in our space. These are not ordinary pieces, but make a statement of beauty and artistry. The owner, Brian, came and hung my art yesterday and I am thrilled. Earlier in the day, I had called Sam about my delivery window. It was her day off, but she immediately returned my call. It's just a fun and interesting stop when you visit Breckenridge. And, the pieces of art are amazing. My friends ended up purchasing artwork, as well, for their new home in Glenwood Springs. Thanks to Sam (and Brian) it was a great experience, which means I will treasure my artwork that much more.

The artists are local and there was such a variety available! Quite a few pieces were so stunning and inspirational to view that I had a hard time leaving. I would definitely look here first if searching for new artwork for the home or office.
