5star visit! My Mini Cooper was given a multi point inspection and a couple of things required immediate attention.. The mechanic explained everything to me and even showed me the bad part.. Upon entrance I tried to check in using their computers and I was going to use the one closest to the entrance. The Mexican guy behind the counter looked at me in disgust I don't kno if he has a thing against black people but he told me I could use the other computer as if I was too close to him. I was very offended but didn't let that ruin my experience. I wasn't able to find the part I needed but when I was leaving I asked this same Mexican guy how much was a radio?? He told me $20... this weekend they have a 50% off sale. I said even with the 50% my price would be $20?? He proceeded to tell me YES! With an attitude as if he didn't want to be bothered. But what he didn't know Is that I had the price list already pulled up. The website states that a radio with cd is $25.29!!!! So with the 50% discount that would have amounted to $12.65!! He didn't want give me the correct price and I feel like I was discriminated against because of who I was! I will definitely not be returning here for any reason!!! First and last time!! Never coming back!!

My problems are with the hydraulic system which controls the top and locking system. I have had all of the hydraulic cylinders replaced (at least once). Each time it has regained the top open/close, but the pump/ reservoir have leaked fluid on the garage floor and it's back to Star. I've literally spent thousands $$. In addition, after most services something had been broken (hood release, center console... I love driving the car have tolerated the the problems. I am looking for an experienced shop/person who is honest and can get me back on the road. Thanks.

Warning: Their Calculated Negligence Destroyed My Engine…read more I am writing this to warn others about the destructive practices at this shop. My experience was not a simple mistake; it was a series of documented, deceitful acts and failures that has left me without a car and financially devastated. My car was towed to their shop (for the 2nd time in 6 months) after sweet smelling, thick white smoke poured into my car's cabin from all the vents, completely blinding me while driving down I-435 South. During their initial inspection, their technician documented a critical finding: engine oil in the coolant reservoir. They took pictures of this finding. Any competent mechanic knows this is a key symptom of a failing head gasket or cracked engine block. Despite this evidence, the service advisor and technicians chose to ignore the root cause. They failed to perform a standard block or combustion leak test or to inform me of the severe engine damage they had likely identified. Instead, over the following 2 months, they charged me for thousands of dollars in expensive repairs that only addressed superficial symptoms while my engine was dying. This is where the fraud became explicit: Per their own inspection report, the technician documented a "heater core leak." However, to fraudulently deny the 5-year warranty on their previous heater core replacement, the service advisor falsely claimed the "heater hoses burst." I was then charged $3886.18 for a BG Cooling Service, heater and evaporator core replacement, heater hoses, an oil change, and an A/C recharge (not approved by me). The final betrayal came only 2 weeks later. My car started leaking coolant and overheated again, requiring another tow. For a second time, their technician documented engine oil in the coolant reservoir. And for a second time, they ignored it, diagnosing the issue as a simple deformed reservoir top and O-ring--an issue that should have been caught during the massive repair weeks prior. Their "fix" was to charge me $204.01 for a new coolant reservoir. Immediately after this replacement, they claimed the car was overheating and the head gasket was blown, presenting me with a quote for $6,130.46 to replace the engine. The shop refused all responsibility for destroying my engine, despite the evidence in their own records, and even tried to blame the failure on me. The Result: Their 5-year warranty is worthless. They will lie to avoid honoring it. My car's engine is destroyed. They drained my savings on pointless repairs that ignored the obvious, documented issue. I am now without reliable transportation, spending over $250 a week on ride-shares. I have filed formal complaints with the Kansas Attorney General, the BBB, and the FTC for multiple violations of the Kansas Consumer Protection Act. They said they needed time to look into this issue. Three months later, there's been no contact from anyone and they still have my car. Do not make the same mistake I did. The deliberate financial and emotional stress they have caused is immense.
