This market reminds of Whole Foods meets sprouts with some special displays like the olive oil and balsamic /vinegar station. They have fresh made foods (cold and hot bar) and a good selection of fresh and dry goods. We stopped here as visitors from out of town and I'd love to come back when passing through Temecula.

Let me set the scene: It's a Tuesday, and I am craving not just sustenance, but an experience. I walk into Barons Market on Rancho California Rd, and immediately, my olfactory receptors are singing. This isn't just a store; it is a gallery of edible art! From a food science perspective, the curation here is impeccable. I spent a solid ten minutes just admiring the turgidity of the organic Granny Smith apples ($2.99/lb)--crisp, tart, and bursting with malic acid potential. But the real magic? The Hulas coconuts and the bulk bins! There is something deeply primal and satisfying about scooping your own trail mix or pouring shimmering olive oil from a stainless steel fustifermo. The salad and hot bars are a triumph of texture and temperature control. I built a plate that was less a "meal" and more a mosaic of flavors. As I sat there, savoring a bite of their roasted veggies, I thought: This is it. The world is an adventure best tasted in small bites, and Barons provides the perfect map. If you love food that respects its molecular origins and a staff that treats you like a neighbor, you must visit. Very relaxed and casual. It's a maximalist dream of flavor!

Such a nice and beautiful store. Has many great selections for ready to go foods for lunch if you in the area or work near by. Staff is always friendly and helpful with any of my question. Nice flower selection as well.

The cookie bar in a two sided display case. So proud of my willpower!

Monday, July 15: I can't believe that I never wrote a review for Baron's. I love this store with its variety of offerings from gluten-free products to organic fruits & vegetables, and locally made wines. I originally intended to only get fruits & vegetables but my attention was diverted to other items. The store is pristine, bright, and organized. Displays are eye catching & made to tempt the consumer. Yes, I fell for it! The organic peaches at $3.00 per bag were irresistible! I now cannot stop eating these sweet & juicy peaches. The nectarines are refreshing! Purchased salad kits. They offer soups; their chicken noodle soup is the best. Such a comfort whether you have a cold or not. My second favorite is their White Chicken Chili. Their baked goods: cookies, brownies, breads, and baklava were calling my name but I ignored their calls sadly. I know from the past they were delicious. I had to pick up 2 bottles of their fresh squeezed oranges. Reminds me of my mom, who would make it for breakfast every morning when I was a kid. Their organic strawberries are the best; a bit pricey but very worth it! So tasty, fresh, and addicting! Grandson visited & it was game over. He loves strawberries! Need to get more. Bought more produce, sandwiches, wraps, and assembled a salad. Almost bought some wine but thought better of it. The staff is always so cordial and helpful. The cashier greeted me warmly and had the best personality! My total came to about $88. Ugh, inflation! Nevertheless, I love this store!

Barons is one of my favorite grocery stores due to their selection of wines, meats, cheeses, the olive oil and balsamic stand, salad bar, soup stand and hot entree area. Baked goods are quite nice as well!

4 stars just cause I can get my California Mountain Bakery apple pies here. I believe they do deliveries on Mondays and occasionally do extra deliveries on Fridays for holidays. $21.99 and they carried quite a few varieties. They also carry Julian Pie Co for $25.99

Temecula Olive Oil Company was such a fun surprise and ended up being one of the highlights of our day. The different olive oils were genuinely delicious, and it was really interesting tasting the differences between them, The Lemon and Mediterranean was especially good and definitely came home with us! The shop itself is adorable and has that rustic, small-town Temecula charm that makes you want to wander around and look at everything. Beyond the oils, they have olives, spreads, sauces, and all kinds of things you suddenly convince yourself you absolutely need. The Tomato Basil Marinara may or may not have also made its way into our bag. A Sunday spent wine tasting and olive oil tasting? Turns out that is a pretty perfect combination. Great products, a fun experience, and something a little different from the usual Temecula wine-country day.

She seemed annoyed to have to help me even though it was empty. Kept having to repeat myself and ask for different flavors. It makes sense now as I read others reviews of the possibility of why. I ended up just cutting my visit short and just purchasing one . Don't know if I would stop by again. Especially since there's other olive oil places with friendlier service.

We joined the Inland Empire CSA about 6 months ago. It's improved my life in so many ways! I'll…read morestart with some general reasons why CSA's are awesome: 1. Getting a veggie box of whatever is in season forces me to taste and cook with ingredients that I wouldn't have tried otherwise, and it has been nothing but creative goodness. 2. My diet is much healthier. I know the produce won't last if I don't eat it, so I incorporate something from the weekly box in almost every meal. 3. It feels so good to know where my produce is coming from, and to be supporting local farmers. There is something cool about knowing your feioja didn't come to you on a boat from New Zealand...it's right from Temecula. I could probably visit the tree if I wanted to! 4. It's all organic and totally affordable. Expense is the main reason I don't buy organic and I love that this lets me afford it. Why is the Inland Empire CSA so good, you ask? 1. Affordability. I looked into a bunch of CSA's and this was by far the best bang for your buck. The quality of the produce is great and our half pledge is enough veggies for 3 people each week. It turns out to be $9/person per week, and it's basically all the organic fruit and veggies you could ask for. 2. Service. The people that run the CSA are very friendly and send out a weekly newsletter with updates from the farms that grow the food, a list of box contents (so helpful when you get something you've never seen before) and recipes! Super responsive via email and all-around great. 3. Locations! They have pick up spots all around San Diego county. I bet there is one within 15 minutes of your house. All in all, I really think everyone should try a CSA. It's been a wonderful experience and I'm looking forward to renewing in January. I absolutely love being a member. Check it out!

Ever since joining I have been totally impressed with the quality of produce I've been receiving. Everything is so fresh and in season. I feel good not eating food that's been imported from thousands of miles away. Being a member now for over six months I've tried many foods I've never had the opportunity to eat before like dragon fruit, passion fruit & jujubes. Gary, the person who is responsible for growing the food seems extremely knowledgeable about current sustainable growing practices and the re mineralization of the soil so everything is peaking with nutrients. You can't go wrong with providing yourself and your family with the healthiest food possible and the Inland Empire CSA will definitely help you do that.
