My first Haiku poem for Yelp! Serious sausage. Plan on falling in love, K? Freshly made. So good. =)

    What my friend ordered

I've been working at my job next door for 6 months and have never been here until today. It's open half of the week but it's a really good place. The staff are friendly and let us try a sample of one of the tri pepper sausages. My friend ordered a tri pepper sausage with a side of Chili Mac and Cheese which she liked and I ordered the "Crazy Meaty Cheesy Melt" with tri pepper sausage with no bread. The gentleman (I assume he is Mike) had no problem making it for me without the bread and even sliced the sausage for me and added grilled onions. Definitely not disappointed and it was WELL worth the price. I'll definitely be here again and I recommend this place to anyone looking for some yummy sausage. They also sell the sausages frozen, they sell wine, salsas, spreads; everything! Thanks for the yummy lunch!

Yelpers, While out dining, have you found "Mad Mike's Sausage" written in your restaurant menus?? Most likely yes, because they're appearing more and more.....Old Vine Cafe, Surfas, Booster's Sports Grill, N.B. Brew. Co., Mutt Lynch's. They are seriously the best sausages I've ever had! I don't know what they put in 'em, other than: -Apple Cinnamon -Black Pepper Cajun -Garlic Chicken -Jalapeno and other peppers! And they sell more than just sausage--Marinades, dressings, sauces, glazes, check out their website! I'm pretty sure there are no retail stores, you've got to buy it online. I first tried Mad Mike's sausage at the Orange County Wine Society's annual tasting event and was blown away. Mike is a big, jolly guy...they do private "tasting parties" for around $5/person (says their website). It's a must-try!

First time on open mic night. Great entertainment lots of talented musicians and artists. I really enjoyed the evening. I must say the food was great. I will be back.

We tried Mad Mike's sausages at a tasting at a local winery. Delicious is the word I have to use to decribe them. Yes, you can find decent tasting sausage at some grocery stores, but nothing comes close to those that are made and sold fresh. We brought back to AZ two of our favorites, the tri pepper and the chicken fiesta. SO good! The spicy sausage was also very flavorful but not quite spicy enough to be called "spicy" imho. Now that I have tried it, I think Mad Mike's might be one of our local stops to stock up while in Temecula...along with wine, olive oil, spices, etc.

I like the yam or sweet potato but the smashed potato is kinda taste funny

Was here for the Yelp event. The time I've spent here is more than any other groumet place I've been. But I felt It wasn't totally a good use of my time except meeting more yelpers on the event. There aren't so many food choice I would typically enjoy to have nor recommend to my friends and family to have. But overall it was a niche little place worth visiting

To know especially that these are rescued animals and are being taken care of so carefully, giving us the privilege of being able to give them our love as well, it was a heartwarming experience. Plenty of free parking available right infront of the sanctuary. There is a cute little shop attached to the sanctuary, where you can buy their handmade truffle chocolates which are so delicious (coming from someone who isn't a fan of truffle chocolates), fresh farm eggs, honey, and other delicacies. With your zoo "ticket" you get 2 free samples of their chocolates and a hefty bag of feed for the animals. The animals are mostly in their own pens, with some together. There's even a couple of the pigs you'll find out of pens, just hanging out on the property, laying beside the building. You're able to go into the tortoise pen and feed/pet him as well, 2 people at a time inside the pen, as he does get anxious. You're not able to feed all of the animals, but for the most part you can. Each pen has a sign for which animals are ok to feed/pet and which are not. They are very calm and friendly, as long as you are too. They take the feed very gently and don't bite your fingers. On the weekends they offer pizza made fresh for the visitors, and have plenty of covered outdoor seating options to enjoy. They also offer wine tasting, but we did not partake, as we had just left a winery, but I'm sure it is quite enjoyable as well. Definitely a must stop if you're in the area and it's a 5 minute drive from the wineries!

It's probably better in the fall/winter since there's no shade and the sun was hot. Most of the cages didn't have names or descriptions on the animal's story, which would've helped improve the experience. We couldn't see the tortoise since he was in his house and no one was around to let us in the pen. The chocolate truffles are great; we bought some of those.

Temecula Olive Oil Company was such a fun surprise and ended up being one of the highlights of our day. The different olive oils were genuinely delicious, and it was really interesting tasting the differences between them, The Lemon and Mediterranean was especially good and definitely came home with us! The shop itself is adorable and has that rustic, small-town Temecula charm that makes you want to wander around and look at everything. Beyond the oils, they have olives, spreads, sauces, and all kinds of things you suddenly convince yourself you absolutely need. The Tomato Basil Marinara may or may not have also made its way into our bag. A Sunday spent wine tasting and olive oil tasting? Turns out that is a pretty perfect combination. Great products, a fun experience, and something a little different from the usual Temecula wine-country day.

She seemed annoyed to have to help me even though it was empty. Kept having to repeat myself and ask for different flavors. It makes sense now as I read others reviews of the possibility of why. Food: 5 Service: 5…read moreAmbiance: 5 Hidden gem alert! Tucked into an unassuming strip mall, you would never guess such a sexy, sophisticated spot is sitting right in the middle of it all. From the moment we walked into Fugghedabout, we were stunned. The space is dark, sultry, lightly dimmed, and incredibly chic, something you'd never expect here. It has a very grown up, intimate vibe (21+ only), perfect for date night or a night out with friends. We were lucky enough to visit on a night with live music (they have it Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays), and it completely set the mood. Even though it wasn't very busy, the energy was wonderful and the music was excellent. Service was top notch. Meghan was fantastic, friendly, attentive, accommodating, and so helpful throughout the meal. Faith, the owner, also stopped by several times to check on us, which earned major points. Such a sweet touch and much appreciated. Now the food... wow. We started with the seared scallop special topped with caviar, and it was outstanding, perfectly cooked, with the caviar adding just the right touch of saltiness. Honestly, we wanted to order more. The hot goat cheese with hot honey appetizer was delicious and so comforting. Definitely get extra bread, you'll want it. Since it was Taco Tuesday, we tried the taco trio with chicken, steak, and shrimp. The steak and shrimp were standouts. The chicken was slightly dry, but overall we really enjoyed them. And the biggest surprise of the night was the shrimp and sausage skillet. Absolutely incredible. So flavorful and rich, and again we needed more bread to soak up every bit of that delicious sauce. We also ordered the crème brûlée for dessert, which was good. The sugar topping was slightly thick, and I'll admit I'm a bit of a dessert snob, so while we enjoyed it, the meal itself was really the shining star of the night. I'm already dreaming about my next visit. I was genuinely impressed by everything, service, ambiance, food, and live music. This place is a whole vibe. Five stars all the way. Highly recommend for anyone looking for amazing food in a sultry, intimate setting. I've already recommended it to several friends. Thank you Meghan and Faith for such a great night. We'll definitely be back!

Imagine an elegant Wine Bar with dim lighting, an Old Skool atmosphere, and a wine list and menu of entrees and appetizers that will challenge any palate, compliments of Chef Orquedea. It was our first visit, arriving just as they opened, and having the whole romantic, classy speakeasy all to ourselves, our server Megan, made us feel right at home. Ensuring we received a little history about the establishment, the day's specials, and what some of their customers' favorites. To begin the experience, we received complimentary glasses of sparkling wine in celebration of their one-year anniversary, which was a nice touch. After a brief moment, we settled on sausage and three-cheese skillet appetizers with a house baguette. The two dishes arrived piping hot, gooey, and enticing! Amazingly delicious to say the least! Kudos to their place settings, glassware, and cloth napkins. Our selected wine was excellent as well, and the selection is very worldly and admirable. THIS is my favorite date place in the area!!! Chill, fashionable, comfortable seating, gorgeous bar, soft music in the background allowing for conversation, and the restroom provides a pleasant surprise as well. Hours of operation hover around Happy Hour and dinner, closing at 9 PM on weekdays and 10 pm on Friday and Saturday. Looking forward to enjoying their live entertainment and themed events in the future, at which time I will follow up on this review. Thank you, Faith, Megan & Orquedea for a wonderful time.--
