This is our second trip. I thought the service was outstanding both times. The food was delicious and hot. It was designed ed to maximize tables, so not a lot of wait time and also without being to crowded and you hear yourself think. I ordered catering for a big event and let me tell you , Baracco's on Wolf Road in Orland Park truly hit it out of the park. Everything was exceptional from the pizzas, salads, soups , chicken and pasta dishes. Their Angel Hair pasta with tomato alfredo sauce is so tasty! The baked Italian chicken is so good! The service was very good and my cocktail was decent, but the food was just ok. The grilled calamari appetizer was a bit rubbery and so was my shrimp & pasta dish. 1 stars is too many for this place. To start - they have a guy singing old songs with extremely loud speakers. To a point that you can't talk to anyone at the table. Service. It took 30 minutes to get a drink. At an hour we still didn't have food. Our waitress would never come back to our table. My husband ordered a bottle of beer and it was bottled in 2023 (it's 2025). Great tavern cut pizza. 5/5 for the pizza every time. They do cut the middle a little small but that's great for people like me who pretend they're only having a couple small ones but end up eating half. the spaghetti and meatballs were 2/5, beef sandwich was 3/5. Meatballs were good but the sauce was bland, beef sandwich is a big portion but needs more seasoning in the gravy. Tonight was my fourth time coming to Barracos. The service and food are consistently great. The bartender's make great drinks and the food is always made the same every visit, which i appreciate. There's nothing worse than ordering your favorite dish and its not made to your standards. I love their salads, pizza and gluten free pasta dishes. I can't eat the bread, but I've been told that it is soft and fresh. It's a restaurant that I believe most anyone will be able to find a dish that they like at. read more

One of the few places that was open late on Christmas Eve. I was in a bind having just left the hospital after a week stay. The person taking the orders was great. I will add his name once I know. Our family ate at this great restaurant tonight. Our waitress was terrific. Her name was Al Andrea and I had a giant salad with lettuce, tomato, red peppers, green olives, chicken, and I had thousand island and French dressing and the salad was great. I had a couple of minestrone soup with it, which my grandson stole from me, he's 10 years old and he fell in love with it and my wife had a giant salad as well and our kids all had pizza everybody loved everything the waitress was terrific. We topped it off with a piece of chocolate layer cake, which everybody shared, and I can honestly say this is a great restaurant and easy five star. read more

Beyond awful! 12 of us went there for dinner last night. Our food was served frozen. The spinach and artichoke dip was a large clump of cheese. During the rain, the floors were so slippery where they didn't put any rugs down for the customers. I would never go there again! I've been getting my pizza here for almost two decades. The stuffed pizza is my go to and the garlic fries are the best side.

This was my first and last experience at Barraco's. Ordered two dishes - baked mostaccioli and tetrazzini. Dishes came out after 5-7 minutes.... They weren't baked, they consisted of pasta with cheese melted, not baked or broiled - think microwave. The chicken in the tetrazzini wasn't cooked all the way and smelled weird. Called the server over, who was very nice, explained it to her and said we'll just take a pizza. Couple minutes later the server comes back and says "sorry manager said she will throw a 12 in pizza in for us, but we will be paying for the pasta dishes". The intent was to still give the place our business, but not after that. We called the manager over, who had the worst personality for someone in the service industry. I explained to the manager why we sent our food back and she was nasty from the get go. Manager stated "those dishes are speciality dishes that's why they were ready so quickly AND that they were good". So never mind that I had to spit the chicken out and the pasta was nothing but noodles in red sauce with melted cheese. Long story short - stay away. Awful food, I can only speculate awful management. The two ladies that took our order - I'm sorry, because you both did an great job. There are plenty of places that could use good servers like you. Read through all of the negative reviews - they are all very similar. The "manager" needs schooling on how to treat her customers and be professional. read more

We have been to Barraco's on Wolf many times and always had a good dining experience. We stopped at the new Orland location last night for Pizza. We ordered a cheese and sausage pizza. When it came, the pizza contained cheese, sausage and pepperoni. The waitress responded "Oh, I will check" and disappeared back into the kitchen with the pizza. She returned several minutes later and said they located the correct pizza and placed our pizza on the table stand. We asked her if this was the same pizza only with the pepperoni removed and she responded "no, this is your pizza" and was off. We took 2 pieces from the pizza and noticed several remnants of pepperoni that they missed removing when the pizza was brought back to the kitchen. We flagged the waitress down and showed her the pepperoni we found and told her that this was the pepperoni pizza she originally brought to the table with the pepperoni removed. She said "well they told me this was the right pizza" and took the pizza to show to her manager. She came back out of the kitchen and said they would remake the pizza for us. After waiting an additional 30 minutes for the new pizza, we finally ate our pizza. The pizza was average, over cooked. We left and will not be back. It is one thing for the waitress/kitchen to make a mistake on the order but to lie and try to deceive us by giving us a doctored pizza is unacceptable. I guess the manager was too embarrassed at getting caught trying to pull one over on the customer to come to our table and apologize for the problem. read more

We have been to the Orland Barraco's many times and after tonight unfortunately will never go back again. It was the worst service I've ever received and at the end when I spoke with the managers, Mel and Ethan, they did nothing about it and the staff laughed at us. It took 40 minutes to take our order and we ended up being there for close to 2 hours. We ordered salads, pasta, several steaks and a pizza. The salad came out and we got no plates for over 10 minutes. The steaks came out and our boys had to cut them with butter knives, which was difficult. It took 20 minutes before someone came back and we could ask for steak knives. Our pizza was "screwed up" from what they told us, and came out 30 minutes after everyone was already done eating. I asked them to take the pizza off my $190 tab and they refused. Again, this is very disappointing and was an awful experience. We will never be back to the Wolf Rd Orland Barraco's and it was unfortunately one of our favorites. There are a lot of options out there and the customer service was awful. read more

Went for lunch buffet at the Orland Park location and the food including two kinds of chicken and rice, was dry and stale tasting. Everything tasted as if it had been sitting out way too long including the pizza, which Barrack's is known for. Did not stay to finish lunch, it was that bad. Would not go back and would not recommend. A waste of time and money. Shame on you Barracos, buffet for two was just around $30 and not worth it at all. read more

Very good thin crust Chicago style pizza. I've had Barraco's time to time and it satisfies my pizza craving. The sauce is unique and slightly reminds me of Aurelio's. It's great that they are available on DoorDash as well. I will definitely be coming back soon!! read more

I had the chicken parmesan sandwich. I've had it from barraco's before and this was the final straw and my last visit to barracos. The chicken is so chewy it's really bad and I cannot imagine what it will do to my stomach later. The bite into the chicken is so tough for such a thin piece it truly is disgusting. The chicken was certainly frozen for a while before I had it since it had a smell to it. I really wish I was able to give a good review as it is in a great location near my work where I could easily go grab lunch on a Friday and bring it back. We had a gift card and we decided to get a stuffed pizza. We got sausage and mushrooms. The sausage is the worst quality of sausage for a pizza! It's a patty....not even Italian sausage. The issue we had was after we paid the bill we decided to have 1 more beverage before we left and a hostess said we close soon and walked away. Or you would have gotten more stars.
