Charged $14 for this chicken quesadilla even though the menu said $12 - I did get $2 back after telling the waiter that it isn't my fault that your menu prices aren't correct - you can't just charge more for that reason DO NOT RECOMMEND - also the quesadilla wasn't that good - just okay - maybe a little more beans & corn Also didn't receive a 10% local discount that this restaurant is supposed to offer - this waiter didn't know anything about it & there was no manager available

Service and atmosphere 10/10! The staff was so nice and accommodating to our large group. Food was yummy, too! Get the key lime pie!

    The most EXCELLENT server.

Don't hesitate to try this place, whether you are just coming for a drink or beer-food or entertainment The place hit all the marks. That wonderful gentleman was our server and he was more than outstanding I was very impressed with everything and will return and recommend

We loved it! Couldn't get into our usual seafood place so we stopped here. Family of 6. We had crab legs and corn and broccoli and the best baked fried potatoes! All fresh and perfectly cooked. There was live music and our server was friendly and attentive. It was our 21st anniversary- dinner was perfect!

Um... ok. The family and I decided to eat here for lunch. The place looked amazing from the outside. When we arrived they weren't busy at all. Mind you it was Friday prime lunchtime. They have a big sign out front advertising .75 cent Budweiser. I actually got a couple but they weren't the best drafts. We did order a smoked tuna dip and it was pretty good. The waitress was nice but not fast at all. We sat outside in the front to eat. Like I said earlier cool little spot. I ordered the fried grouper bites which I thought was going to be a whole lot but I got about 7 pieces on a bed of fries. The fish was not good at all. Wasn't fresh. Had an old fishy cod taste or something. The fries were probably the best part. The rest of the family ordered random things and they weren't pleased as well. We're not the type to complain or send anything back. We will just not choose to do it again. I did have to use their restroom so I walked in and the inside was really nice looking. I just wish the food was good. It not being busy at lunch should have been a sign.

Tons of parking (large lot across the street, smaller lot right in front and another just around the corner) local vibe, friendly staff, great food and even better views. If the views are super important to you, ask for a high top table. Our low top was near the back door so we could easily see out but I could see where your view could be obstructed from other spots. Happy to continue to support this local business!

As the sign reads, "Last Local Beach Club". If you are looking for the ultimate Panama City Beach experience, Schooners is the place to be. There is just something about the atmosphere here. It is open, airy, and very laid back. There was a slight wait to be seated and there were people already waiting. They told us 15-20 minutes, but sat us in about 7 minutes. When we entered the restaurant, I was disappointed to see half the place with open tables, and wondered why they told us 15-20 minutes. Very weird. A little disconnected here. We were seated and our server was quick to meet us. We ordered drinks and the following apps: Loco Shrimp $13.00 Deep-fried shrimp tossed in sweet chili buffalo sauce served with celery & bleu cheese dressing or ranch; Loco Wings $9.00 Crisp & juicy... The perfect hangover cure or perfect anytime, tossed in sweet chili buffalo sauce, served with celery & bleu cheese dressing or ranch; Smoked Tuna Dip $15.00 Served with tortilla chips & sliced jalapeños; and Fried Founder Bites $12.00 Golden fried founder bites served with tartar sauce. For Entrees, we ordered The Flounder Tacos, Bacon Blue Salad, Chicken Fingers, East End Fish Tacos, and Jerked Chicken Sandwich. We also had sides of fries and hush puppies (they were the perfect level of sweet, savory, and a fresh crunch.) The sodas and teas were all free refills. Everything we ordered came out cooked perfectly...to my liking. The buffalo sauce was a little tame for my taste. The Flounder tasted a bit "fishy" but still good nonetheless. The Jerked Chicken was the winner for me. It was cooked perfectly, well but juicy. I added bacon and it just was the "icing on the cake." Would definitely recommend and will absolutely be back.

The place has indoor as well as porch seating - very spartan furnishings in a dark environment giving an almost dingy appearance. But...the young woman running everything (bartending, serving and maybe cooking) was hustling (as we quadrupled the occupancy) and the food was actually quite good (burgers, fries, tuna melts, wings...). It turned out to be a very pleasant, albeit slow, experience.

Local Perspective - Good Service, Food Was Just Okay…read more We're locals in the Panama City Beach area and decided to try Flamingo Joe's during the off-season while we were out looking for pizza. We found them online and thought we'd give it a shot and support a local place. The restaurant has a fun, kitschy beach vibe and the staff was friendly. We were seated right away and our waitress was attentive. Service was actually very good and our food came out quickly. When we first walked in, though, there was a strong smoky smell, almost like someone had been smoking in the enclosed patio area. It was also extremely quiet. We were the only customers there at the time, which made the atmosphere feel a little flat. As for the food, it was unfortunately just okay. Two people in our group ordered pizza and both felt like it tasted very similar to frozen pizza. The wings were fine but nothing particularly memorable. I had a burger and fries, which were decent and probably the safest choice of what we ordered. While we were there an entertainer came in and started setting up for music later in the evening, which was actually nice and made us think it might get more lively later on. Overall, the service was friendly and fast, but the food didn't quite live up to what we were hoping for. We're always happy to try local spots, but this probably isn't one we'll be rushing back to.
