I was super nervous to come to this class but i signed up and i was determined to follow through. I came in and the front desk was super nice and pleasant and gave me a brief tour and explanation of how the studio is laid out as well as how the class goes and what is usually needed for the class. I love that they have ample parking, their studio has a great water station, changing rooms, and storage for your things. The class was instructed by Jamie and she was the absolute sweetest! She kept our heart rates up and helped guide myself and others. It was hard and burned but i was able to power through a lot more than i thought because the whole energy of the room was great! I love that they give plenty of modification options for the workouts as they can be pretty intense at times, but I love it because I would never push myself that hard at home. Decently priced too! I'm a Barre3 member from Santa Barbara, CA but used to live in Atlanta so it was great to visit and go for a workout. I called ahead of time and it was easy enough to schedule a spot in a 715 am class. To those not familiar with Barre3, they are group fitness classes of barre, yoga, Pilates, and weight training where the focus is very much on your individual needs. It's very common to realize you are keeping up with the tempo or not marching others' movements but it doesn't matter. The instructors are consistently wonderful and push you to workout at your own pace. I really liked the setup at this location because it has been built for work warriors who are coming from or heading to the office or just their lives. This location has a spacious bathroom with lots of cosmetic products as well as two changing rooms. I also saw a little alcove for children to stay busy. All in all, a great spot with tons of parking. Feel the burn! read more

A friend of mine raved about barre classes so had to come and try it out for myself. I signed up for the new member special (3 classes for $30). It can get a little crowded, but make sure you sign up for the class beforehand since it has limited spots. Jessica was my instructor and she was wonderful - seriously, #bodygoals. I didn't think I would come out of that class with a workout, but to my surprise you are getting a pretty good core workout along with stretching and I was sweating. I've really enjoyed working out at Barre3! The workouts themselves are fantastic. They incorporate everything I love about a "typical" barre class, but with bigger motions, more cardio, and greater variety. It feels like you do many more reps here, which helps learn how you to do the correct posture. The instructors are fantastic- quick to offer modifications and are very body positive. Wherever you are on your fitness journey, you can find a workout here that will challenge you, but also meet you where you are. I've also enjoyed the other women in the two classes I've attended; there are all different shapes and backgrounds that work out here and all have been friendly and supportive. It's a good thing the other attendees are so great, because it's also the one downside to this studio - the classes are slightly too big for my personal preference. For a small studio, they've really thought about all the extra little touches you could ever want, from tons of free parking to child care on site for certain classes. The bathroom is also stocked with just about any kind of "refresh" supply you could want. Forgot a hair tie? They've got you covered. Need dry shampoo? Spritz away. Also a plus - no sticky socks required! You can work out in bare feet if you desire. When I had only an average experience at my first class, I commented as such in the new client survey they email out, and within hours, I had a personalized response from the owner apologizing for the issues I experienced. I can only imagine how tough it is as a business owner to read criticism of something you pour so much time and energy into, and to take it so constructively was an awesome surprise. read more

Came here for the first time yesterday and it did not disappoint! I brought my sticky socks but didn't wear them because most people were barefoot or wore a different kind of sock with a strap thing. Warm up: Yoga and ballet moves. I love yoga so this was a welcome surprise. Exercise: Fun movements with the weights. Bigger motions than Pure Barre has you do but Barre3 also does the moving up/down an inch as well. Killer segment with the band resistance on your foot while you're in plank. Totally killed my glutes and my brain was screaming, "NOOO. Too hard!!!!" I also love the ab segment here better than pure barre's, which often leaves me feeling like I didn't work out my abs at all. It does a better job in my opinion. Overall, super friendly studio that will now take the place of my Pink Barre rotation schedule because it's much closer to my house! I hate driving to Pink Barre on the trafficky part of Buckhead.So happy I found this place! read more

I have heard so many good things about this workout, and I opted to give it a try! Besides almost passing out from dehydration, this was definitely a great workout! The staff was great! If it is your first time at the studio they made you fill out a release form as well as gave you a tour of the facilities (so arrive about 10 minutes early)!The workout was a mix between yoga and ballet! It was low intensity like yoga, but the movements are very much like ballet. Tip:Take advantage of the free instructor in training classes a couple times a month! I can't say enough good things about Barre3! It is the friendliest, most welcoming exercise studio I have ever been to. I have an injury and it is very hard to find a challenging workout that is kind enough to my joints. At Barre3, not only will the instructors modify the exercises to fit your needs, but they'll check up on you throughout the class and make sure everything feels right. The instructors genuinely care, and it shows. I also love the wide range of class times (everything from 6am to 8:30pm classes!) and the flexibility in cancelling classes up to 1 hour before. I came back a year later with a co-worker and fell in love with the studio all over again. I got to know the owner Katie and several of the other instructors (Jessica, Hillary they are all great). Not only are the instructors great people with amazing personality, they also tailor the workout to you. They remember things that only pertain to you, but during the hour, they help tailor the workouts to your body! It's basically like a group fitness class with your own personal trainer. I have been taking classes at Barre3 - South Buckhead since it opened in March. I enjoy the challenging workouts. Barre3 is part yoga, part pilates and part ballet barre. Even if I am tired when I get to class, I leave energized. The instructors are always willing to offer modifications and/or help make sure you feel comfortable in the current position. I had one of the best workouts I've had in a long time today right here!! They have a lot of different times to choose from so if you are a really busy person like me, it's nice to have options. I went to the 12:15 PM class and it was amazing! The instructor was attentive, positive, gave different options so you go at your own pace and level. I'll be going again!! I never really write reviews on businesses if I do not have anything nice to say. Just something I learned from my Momma. But this is one exception. I was so excited to do this after hearing and seeing such great results from friends. But yikes, I was disappointed. I knew I wanted a great workout but Jessi Niles was one of the worst instructors I have ever encountered. She must be a new instructor because it did not feel like she knew what she was doing. I took pictures of her ridiculous routines; They are funny. I HAVE had great Barre workouts before but please go to someone else. Someone who knows what they are doing. Sadly I went home dissapointed so bummed from the lackluster experience. I am assuming that she knew what she was doing but her rudeness did not help at all. Perhaps I needed to just go somewhere else next time. Either way though, for the $ I spent I expected the experience to be top-notch. Willing to try again, just with a friendlier more experienced instructor. read more
