Stopped in for an 8:30AM class on a beautiful Wednesday with my two friends and we had a blast! My friends and I love trying new work out classes together and SweatEXT caught our attention next! We came, we saw, and we SWEAT! My goodness, I still can't believe I was able to sweat that much in a 50 minute session! When we walked into the class room, it was already hot but the coach said it was only going to get HOTTER--we couldn't believe it! But, we made it through! It was tough overall because I haven't been working out much but I was still able to see it through. Great experience in Ponce City Market area, I will definitely be back!

If you want to try accessible mat Pilates and you want to get a good sweat, this places is great! I will say, it gets pretty hot and the workout gets intense, but you feel amazing after!

This was a good sweat but INTENSE AF . There is parking right outside of the door and they do validate your parking inside if you attend a class, which is super nice. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by warm and helpful staff. They give you a complimentary towel for your workout. It's best to use it to cover your mat to absorb the river of sweat that'll pour off you. You should get 2 towels, one for your mat and one to wipe off your body. Then, they'll walk to the locker area, which is immediately right outside of the workout studio room. Your mat will already be clean, in place and ready for you, you just have to pick one. Get there about 10 minutes to make sure you get the mat you want. I think they fit about 10-12 persons in the room per class. Please bring water in an insulated cup and make sure it's cold, you'll need it. The class is about 45 minutes of consistent movement in a humid environment. I'd def go back again one day. Alexis was a top notch trainer.

I took a Sunday class with Victoria, the music was energizing and the pace of the class was great. She kicked my butt and worked every muscle but it was so worth it. She also was adamant about ensuring everyone felt comfortable so it was okay to step outside if it became too hot inside the studio for anyone or if we needed to take a water break at any time. I want to say this was my first in-person class since the pandemic so I was intimidated (to say the least) and it felt so great. The location is great, lots of places to eat around and even walk around and maybe do a little shopping after the class. I walked out of there drenched in sweat and felt ready to tackle the rest of the day. This location has lockers, a few showers, and everything was clean and sanitized. Highly recommend it and am looking forward to another class.

Great experience at 8am Saturday Pilates!! The playlist was so good and the instructor was very knowledgeable. Will definitely get your sweat on so prepare for an intense session. They validate your parking at ponce city market as well which was great!

I tried Pure Barre for about 3 months, but was seeking variety in my workouts. F2B offers that with a plethora of classes and times! Fit to Be is located in the same building and on the same level as American Roadhouse. There's plenty of parking in the lot behind the building, and the studio has a small lobby area to wait in before classes start. They have a single room for classes, but it has a sliding barn door in the back, making it possible to conduct private training sessions at the same time a larger class is going on. Other reviews note that classes are capped at 15, but I've never had more than twelve. I have yet to take a class with Julie (the owner, acclaimed in many other reviews), but that's because I'm such a huge fan of Bryn's Ballerobica class at 9am on Saturdays. Barre or ballet-inpsired classes are a dime a dozen these days, but Ballerobica is the best I've found. It adds an aerobic element to the standard core exercises, so you feel like you've gotten a much bigger calorie burn. Plus, Bryn is a phenomenal teacher- she pushes without yelling and she is continually upbeat without being fake. Everyone -from students to teachers - seems genuinely glad to be there. I leave class feeling upbeat (and sweaty) which is exactly what I'm looking for. Though I discovered Fit to Be through Classpass (which is awesome, by the way), these are classes I might actually pay extra to be able to attend more of them than the three per month Classpass limits you to. At just $15 for one drop in class (and packages that go down in cost from there), Fit to Be is also one of the more reasonable gyms I've found. I can't wait to try more classes, because Fit to Be is certainly as good as it gets!

If you have the correct technique, which is a little tough without a dance background and a Breaking Down the Barre class, it's a good workout for strengthening. PureBarre in general is a little culty, but it's more evident at the Westside location than it is at the Morningside studio, which is why I like this one better. Great music, small classes, convenient times. Because the classes are small, it can be tough to find one that's not full -- you have to plan ahead. And it's not cheap, although this studio does allow you to buy class cards and not just monthly memberships. I'm taking full advantage of a $99 new client special for a month before I decide if I can rationalize $225 per month (doubtful). Give it a try -- this is a great complement to your cardio. And you can pretend you're a badass ballerina for an hour.

You walk into a reception area lit brighter than a cafeteria. Nothing says relaxation like feeling like you're about to take an exam. For a $220 massage, your pre-service options are the hammam or sauna, which is very limited for the price. No steam room or jacuzzi. The robes are very comfortable, and the locker room is nice. Just be prepared to parade past a full gym in your robe on your way to unwind. I booked the Flow massage, which is supposed to be medium pressure. Instead, it felt like I was being buffed like a Camry rather than actually massaged. It came across more freestyle than intentional. I thought maybe it was just me, but both of my sisters had the exact same experience. Then comes the automatic gratuity, bringing the total to $260 for a massage that didn't deliver. If you're going to raise prices, the experience has to rise with it. This was a disappointment.

I purchased the first timer promo, $36 for 3 classes, and went to my first class on Tuesday after work, and let's just say Josè is an awesome instructor! Being that it was my first time at a Blast studio, Josè showed me around, and gave me a brief rundown on how the class will be ran, so I knew what to expect. He made me feel welcomed and answered any questions I had. He also let me know the studio validates parking, in the parking deck, so I don't need to worry about paying for parking! The gym is really clean and nicely put together. There are also free lockers so you can stow your goodies away, while you burn fat! Now on to the workout. So I've never worked out for a straight 60 minutes (hence why I'm out of shape hehe), but Josè was so fun and energetic, time flew by and I didn't even realize I went the entire class without stopping! We did so many fun workouts on the treadmill and the floor. I have an semi-athletic background, so many of the exercises we did, weren't too intimidating but they were definitely challenging! I worked up a pretty nice sweat, and a few times I wanted to yell at Josè for making us work soo hard, lol but I am so glad he kept pushing us, because I know I needed it. I'll be going back to more classes at Blast, especially when Josè is there! Excellent gym and staff, and I will be back. Side note: if you're looking for a COVID-19 friendly space to work out, this studio isn't for you. No one wore masks during the exercise, and the studio where classes are held is really small, so no social distancing. Ventilation was really good though, so it didn't feel like I was breathing old air. To public: if you are coming to workout in a public place, please make sure your hygiene is up to par. Wear deodorant at the minimum, because it's just rude to others to have to smell your funk while working out. Just saying.

I liked the fast pace workout and the energy of the instructor. At the end of the class I felt like I had a great workout that worked all parts of my body (arms, legs, abs). I love that the attentiveness of the staff in helping students refill water during class. They also keep the shower and bathroom clean and stocked with gym essentials (shampoo, hair dryer, lotion, bag for wet cloths). The only downside is that the space is quite small so that at the beginning and end of class it can be a little crowded in the hallways.

If you don't like a coach telling you what exercises to do and cheering you on this is not a work out for you. OTF Is primarily cardio-based as more than half of the workout is in the treadmill and rower. With a third of the class on a treadmill and third of the class on a rower you're really pushing your aerobic fitness and caloric burn. The floor exercise is the last third of the class. In my opinion they can improve their floor exercises and work out as there isn't much time to build muscle but rather to burn fat. There are quite a few locations around Atlanta as OTF has become a very popular workout franchise. This specific location in Midtown has a parking deck for free parking. The classes at this location are almost always full. The coaches and staff are nice just like most locations. They have a bathroom for both sexes and two showers for you to use if you want to go before work. They have a wide range of class times so you can work out super early, mid day or late in the evening. Overall OTF is great for trying to lose weight, get in shape and meet new people while burning calories.
