What can I say? Thane is a true artist!!! See pictures of drinks and it will speak for his artwork. Great vibes, great drinks and Thane!!!

Back again! Am I a bad person or just a cocktail snob! The East 8 Hold Up and Mint Smash are the most absolutely delicious drinks I've ever had. The bartender is not a "bartender" he's a musician, an artist, a perfectionist of the art of making drinks. What a great afternoon cocktail spot!

Sat at the bar with my girlfriend and enjoyed mimosas, coffee, and breakfast. The best part was enjoying conversation with Thane! He was fabulous, he provided great service, he was professional and compassionate. We loved every minute of it. We will for sure be back. The coffee was amazing and perfectly prepared. It was a great Sunday experience. Thank you Thane! The bar was busy but we didn't notice any delay in service. It was any too loud where we couldn't have a conversation.

The best espresso martini in the area. I would date to say one of the best in the East bay. The staff are friendly, drinks are fantastic and a great friendly inviting ambiance.

Back again ! Still the best at craft cocktails! New layout for customer engagement is not as warm , but no worries would always enjoy this craft! Keep it up!

Best craft drinks around. Brittany is the best. If you're in the area, they are worth the visit

I love love this place. Where in the Bay Area can you get a strong, beautiful, and original cocktail for less than $14-15?! I'll let you in on a secret... right here in downtown Martinez! The cocktails at this bar are SO delicious and gorgeous (they always look good on my IG posts lol - see how cute these are with flowers and hearts?!). And they're so reasonably priced at $10-12. I love their gin-based cocktails and the ginger-mule is one of my go-tos. The candied ginger on that drink is insanely good (the real deal). The owner is this super cool guy who chats with you and checks in to see what you like. Each cocktail is lovingly crafted by awesome bartenders. Their menu also changes so they introduce new creations to tempt your taste buds. The bartenders can also easily make any original style cocktails you're craving too. The ambience is super cute inside and they have cute outdoor seating with benches and lights. I just love coming here on a Friday night after having dinner nearby and catching up with friends and dog-watching.

Delicious and strong cocktails can be found inside this cozy, hipster cocktail bar in downtown Martinez. Whether you like your drinks on the sweeter side, something tart or anything in between, you will find it here. While there is very limited seating inside, there is space outside on the sidewalk to lounge with a group of friends.

The service is great as well as the Coffee and Cocktails! Our BTs Skye and Arash made amazing cocktails . When in the Martinez area stop by and visit them for a delicious cup of Java or delish cocktail.. Great ambiance and service. Absolutely loved the Improved Mule..

Cute little bar. Coffee / brunch shop by day. Whiskey bar at night. They have a full bar! My drink was fire no seriously literally on fire they torched the jalapeño. Our bartender was awesome Kasey thank you for a nice experience. We definitely will come back. Love the kick back vibe. There's outdoor seating. Have a cc I believe that's preferred over cash, but could've been just that evening. Dogs are welcomed.

I ordered the sea bass, my husband had the salmon, my sister had a salad, and her husband enjoyed the filet mignon. Every dish was delicious, but the sea bass deserves special recognition. As someone who orders sea bass whenever I can, I've had it in Pismo Beach, Monterey, and San Francisco, and Baxter's has set a new standard. It was incredibly fresh, melt-in-your-mouth tender, with a perfectly crisp sear that locked in all of its delicate flavor. Every bite was moist, flaky, and cooked to perfection. It was honestly the best sea bass I've ever had. The service was warm, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. Combined with the elegant atmosphere and classic white tablecloths, Baxter's was the perfect place to celebrate. We'll definitely be back!

If you're looking for the kind of dinner that makes you want to cancel your other weekend plans…read morejust so you can go back, Baxters is it. Tucked right on First Street across from the bay in downtown Benicia, this place has completely earned its reputation as the town's culinary crown jewel. From the moment you walk in, the warmth is unmistakable -- and it's not an accident. Owners Kenneth Coker and Kevin Shaw built this restaurant to feel like their own living room, and it shows in every detail, right down to the name (a sweet nod to their beloved Fox Terrier). That personal touch translates into genuinely attentive service that never feels stiff or rehearsed. Now, the food. The Beef Wellington is the stuff of legend -- perfectly rendered pastry, a filling that melts before you even chew, and clearly a labor of love from the kitchen. The scallops are seared to that impossible perfection where the outside caramelizes but the inside stays buttery-soft. And if salmon gnocchi in vodka sauce is on the menu when you go, order it without hesitation -- it's rich, comforting, and impossible to stop eating. Even the truffle burger, which almost feels like an afterthought on a menu this elevated, has become a neighborhood obsession for good reason. Cocktails are crafted with the same care as the food -- inventive, well-balanced, and clearly the product of a team that takes its bar program seriously. And if you can snag a reservation in The Speakeasy, the intimate back room, do it. It's easily one of the most romantic, memorable settings for a special occasion in the entire Bay Area. Baxters isn't just a great restaurant -- it's a genuine gathering place, the kind of spot a whole town falls in love with. Whether it's date night, a family celebration, or just a nightcap at the bar, Baxters delivers an experience that's warm, delicious, and utterly memorable every single time. Highly, highly recommended.

I haven't tried everything on the menu yet, but what I have I would certainly order again! Over the holidays I wanted to try their version of crème brûlée and grateful to see the sugar crust right before serving was thick and lightly warmed from "fire" process as I know it should be served. Of course, smooth perfection rich custard followed! Their Salmon dinner & teriyaki wings, another favorite alongside the beer of my choice! I've also loved their innovative drinks that I've never tasted before, that they feature regularly. It's great to step into a place where the Waite staff seems to enjoy their environment and serving the public. Thank you Six Eleven for your 1.5 years now, family friendly restaurant & bar here in Martinez, a fun place to confidently bring a guest (especially when warm enough and outside seating is available) and also to shake a leg with the younger generation on an occasional weekend night. Starting with the Mt. Beautiful Estate Sauvignon Blanc, found this good. It's good, but not great. It's a decent wine but I think there are other more interesting Australian wines out there. The Rabble Rosé from Paso Robles was crisp with just an edge of tart. Like roasted strawberries, if that makes sense. And the Seaglass Riesling from the central coast is now a fave. It's a sweeter wine and a good end to a tasting, for sure. Glad I explored that one. It far exceeded my expectations. The vibe is good. The team is wonderful, caring and attentive, even if their internet went down and they weren't able to process cards quickly. They kept their frustrations focused on the tech and their attention on their customers. And the people who come in - there for a good time. This was our first experience here. I was not allowed with my 5 month old baby to have a glass of wine in the patio. I was told there's a "no under 21" rule that apparently includes babies. That honestly didn't make sense to me. this is an infant, not even eating solid food yet. I've been to wineries in Napa with my baby and never had an issue, so this felt unwelcoming. This felt like a made up rule to protect non-mother customers, and Benicia is known for that. Horrible. What made it worse was how it was handled. The waitress(blonde, short hair mid-aged lady) came off rude and said, "no under 21, sorry--unless it's a dog haha," and then told me I could go to the taphouse on the corner. It felt dismissive and unprofessional. I even tried calling afterward to speak with a manager, but no one answered. Overall, it left a really bad impression, and I don't feel comfortable coming back after this.
