Not a lot of restaurants offer beef wellington on their menu, so that was definitely a huge reason why I wanted to try Baxters out, and it did not disappoint. Perfectly cooked filet mignon at medium rare wrapped in flaky puff pastry and luscious duxelles. While I felt the quantity of roasted veggies and mashed potatoes on the side were not enough to balance out the dish. I also tried the skillet corn bread and the gnocchi with salmon. The pasta dish surprisingly had a generous quantity of salmon throughout the dish and the gnocchi were soft and fluffy.

We have come to Six Eleven several times now. We always eat outside because the area by the creek…read moreis very inviting. This is truly a great location and we've been fortunate to be there when they had live music on two occasions. This was the case on our most recent visit as well. The service is also always warm and friendly, from the Hostess to the bar to the wait staff. Now to the food. I always wish and hope it will meet my expectations for such a great spot. But I'm left wanting. Let's start with the disappointing so I can end with the good. I've had the shrimp scampi twice now. The shrimp are cooked nicely, plump and juicy. While I prefer capers with my scampi, that addition would have completely killed the dish because it was already overly salted. Shrimp are stored in salted water when they are caught and frozen, so there is no need to add more salt. And I love salt--don't get me wrong! I implore the chef to do a taste test with no added salt -- and then add capers! The noodles were good, however, despite the overly salted shrimp. The butter, garlic, wine sauce is tasty. We've also had their margarita pizza, and found it decent, but a little lacking in flavor. And we've had the calamari a couple of times. The first time we liked it - 4-stars! But this last time it had no flavor. We didn't finish it or ask for a to-go box. It was just flat and not very crispy. Consistency is not over-rated. W has always ordered the fish tacos and he loves them. I've had them, too, and also found them quite tasty. On their own, a solid 4-star dish. We will continue to come here for the ambiance and service, and hope the food gets to a four-star level. Here's to hoping

My friend's fettuccini was inedible and we had to have them take it back. No cheese flavor at all. Just noodles in a greasy slurry. Service was very slow and never got our server back to pay the bill. Had to flag down another tables waitress to assist.

Starting with the Mt. Beautiful Estate Sauvignon Blanc, found this good. It's good, but not great. It's a decent wine but I think there are other more interesting Australian wines out there. The Rabble Rosé from Paso Robles was crisp with just an edge of tart. Like roasted strawberries, if that makes sense. And the Seaglass Riesling from the central coast is now a fave. It's a sweeter wine and a good end to a tasting, for sure. Glad I explored that one. It far exceeded my expectations. The vibe is good. The team is wonderful, caring and attentive, even if their internet went down and they weren't able to process cards quickly. They kept their frustrations focused on the tech and their attention on their customers. And the people who come in - there for a good time. This was our first experience here. We'll be back, for sure!

I was not allowed with my 5 month old baby to have a glass of wine in the patio. I was told there's a "no under 21" rule that apparently includes babies. That honestly didn't make sense to me. this is an infant, not even eating solid food yet. I've been to wineries in Napa with my baby and never had an issue, so this felt unwelcoming. This felt like a made up rule to protect non-mother customers, and Benicia is known for that. Horrible. What made it worse was how it was handled. The waitress(blonde, short hair mid-aged lady) came off rude and said, "no under 21, sorry--unless it's a dog haha," and then told me I could go to the taphouse on the corner. It felt dismissive and unprofessional. I even tried calling afterward to speak with a manager, but no one answered. Overall, it left a really bad impression, and I don't feel comfortable coming back after this.

Even those in our party who normally don't enjoy crab cakes had to partake because the rest of us were so enthralled. We had to order three orders of crab cakes - they were THAT GOOD! Definitely the best I have EVER had and I always order crab cakes when we go out to eat and they are on the menu. For dinner we all had a huge assortment of items. All delicious! Chicken parmigiana, cozze & vongole, mushroom ravioli, salmon, two of us enjoyed filet entrees. We were all very delighted with everything that we ordered! We cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough! Delectable! Perfection! Thank you, Bella Siena, for making our loved one's graduation celebration so PERFECT! Service, food, it was all so spectacular! And...those crab cakes!
