I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel it's important to share my experience so others can make an informed decision. In 2023 I underwent a breast augmentation revision with lift and a BBL with Dr. Barrett in Beverly Hills. I chose this surgeon because of his reputation and paid approximately $60k for the procedures. Before surgery I shared that I was nervous because this was my second breast surgery. My first augmentation and lift had actually been done in Bangkok, and I mentioned I was worried about scarring. I remember Dr. Barrett laughing and saying something along the lines of, "You're in a Beverly Hills doctor's office, not Thailand." Ironically, my first surgery abroad healed far better than this one. I got revision because after having 2 kids my tits sagged. Unfortunately I developed severe raised keloid scarring from the procedure. The scarring has been extremely distressing and has had a major impact on my confidence. I reached out to the clinic by email explaining my concerns and how much stress this outcome has caused me. Rather than feeling supported, the response I received seemed focused on quoting additional procedures rather than addressing the situation or my well-being. When someone invests this level of trust and money into a surgeon, you hope they will stand behind their work and support patients when complications arise. In my case, I did not feel that happened. I have included photos for transparency so others can see the results for themselves. I strongly encourage anyone considering surgery here to have detailed discussions about scar risk, revision policies, and post-surgical care before moving forward, and not rely solely on what is presented on social media Photo attached of my invoice wasn't even my final invoice, during the surgery date he added another 6k for scar removal of my c section scar, which of course is still there

Dr. Barrett and his team are amazing! I live several hours and a couple states away, but chose to come to Beverly Hills specifically to have Dr. Barrett as my surgeon. His attention to detail and desire for natural looking results are the main reason I chose him. I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Barrett's wife as well. Rosalyn is so down to earth and just a beautiful, genuinely kind and caring woman. Colleen was my main point of contact and she was always helpful, responsive and supportive. TUMMY TUCK REVIEW - Dr Barrett gave me a tummy tuck w/ hernia repair and closed my diastasis recti. The before and after care is unmatched. I found Dr. Barrett about 2 years ago after beginning to look into surgeons due to an Umbilical Hernia and severe Diastases Recti that I received due to multiple pregnancies. My OB referred me to a general surgeon for the hernia, however, they were likely to use a mesh over the top rather than fix the actual issue at hand. I decided to go my own path a find a plastic surgeon that could fix all my issues at once through a tummy tuck and having a cosmetic touch was a huge bonus. During my consult he was so kind a caring. My family had recently experienced a loss and I ended up shedding some tears while explaining to him how scared I was to be going under and having a longer surgery. He was so comforting and told me the decision was totally in my hands and there was no rush or pressure to move forward if I was not comfortable. Regardless he gave a very thorough exam and explained what things would look like should I decide to move forward with the procedure through him. I also was really trying to avoid having a vertical incision which I had heard from other surgeons I would need. He was able to assure me he could do it without any vertical scar or incision. I ended up deciding to just get it done and over with since I knew I DID need to repair my hernia regardless with him or a general surgeon. I took a leap and was on his operating table just one month after my consultation. They got me in early when I explained how nervous I was and just wanting to get it over with (lol). My surgery went so smooth and they were so kind to my mom at every appointment she accompanied me to. He personally called me a couple times after my procedure to check in when he knew we were driving home and my first morning home they had flowers from a local flower shop delivered to my house with a sweet card. I am not famous, not and influencer, and have no background with them. I am a regular mom from a small town multiple hours from them and they treated me top tier. All the staff was so kind and responsive anytime I had questions or sent an email on the portal. I am now 5 months post op and am seriously loving my results and my scar is looking amazing and super low. My appointments are now few and far between and I'm honestly sad because I love his whole team so much! The kindest crew. Couldn't recommend them more based off my experience and level of care. I wish this kind of experience upon anyone going through with a "harsher" procedure like a tummy tuck.

I could not recommend Dr. Barrett and his team enough! I went to his office for a breast augmentation, but I still wanted a very natural look. I was nervous that doctors were going to pressure me to go bigger than I wanted, but Dr. Barrett did not. He listened to all my concerns and looked at the inspo photos I shared and gave me the exact results that I wanted. In terms of pain and the procedure - I was nervous about the pain that would be involved with the recovery, but I truly felt little to no pain. I didn't have to take any intense pain medication. I only took 1 tylenol just to see if it would help. I was up and moving around (with caution) the day after surgery. The techniques that Dr. Barrett uses to prevent pain post op is so amazing. I used cbd balm and cbd oil instead of pain meds. The team and the office staff go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable throughout the whole process and you leave feeling like family. I have since returned to get a facial peel and botox because I just love the level of service they provide. I'm about 6mo post op and I couldn't be happier! I'm so happy with my decision to get a breast augmentation, and even happier that I chose Dr. Barrett to be my surgeon.

I would not recommend Dr. Yamin for Botox treatment. I felt like this was a money grab for him. This was my first time (I was 29 at the time) and I went with my mom who is 55 years old. I told him I wanted baby Botox that was very subtle especially since it was my first time. He told me I would need 50 units on my forehead and around my eyes for my crows feet. This is my first time so I said okay and had him inject me. My mom went next and he told her the same thing. I thought that's weird that we got the same amount of Botox since my mom had a lot more wrinkles that I did. Anyways, after 2 weeks my forehead was completely frozen and it dropped. My cheeks were also weird where they had a shelf every time I smiled. I honestly hate the results and knew I can only wait for the Botox to wear off. I will and haven't returned due my botched face.

An update to my two surgeries. While the tummy tuck has worked out great, the male breast area never fully recovered as promised. When I asked if we could do a retouch, the procedure was more expensive than the two combined surgeries I originally had. I would still recommend him for anything stomach wise when getting rid of loose skin, but I'll unfortunately have to look for other doctors to help with the aftermath of my male breast reduction.

This doctor is ready to have his license revoked. Please do not book with him. I had a ba and bbl I work up and he put in the wrong size of implant in my left breast and for the bbl it's supposed to be included with the package but they ran out. After I woke up they told me to run around la (which I'm not from) to go around and find the appropriate bbl pillow. How unprofessional! The bbl pillow was part of the package! Very unprofessional. 6 months later right nipple developed into a square when I saw dr Barrett and asked why he it looks like it does be said it's normal. Well three years later my one nipple has no feeling and it's square. Do yourself a favor and do your research and stay away from this doctor. If you google his name you will see he has has 17 lawsuits against him. He's a narcissist and so is his man wife. #youwillgetbotched read more

FYI, he's a graduate of USC-Keck Medical and his profession is his passion, which is always an important indicator of dedication. We trust him completely. I do not have the words to express how much I love Dr. Barrett and his staff. I went on 8 different consults before I found his office and I am so grateful. Everyone in the office is helpful and sweet. I swear I get excited to go to my post ops just to get to chat with everyone. They made the whole process easy, exciting and fun. I'm a full time model and my biggest concern was that my breast would look too big for my body. So to figure out exactly what I wanted, Dr B had me find photos that represented the result I wanted. I came to see Dr Barrett for a breast augmentation. Didn't think I would be making a decision at my first consultation but he was so great and I felt I could trust him so I decided to book my appointment. Less than a month later I was scheduled with Dr Barrett for my surgery. The surgery process was super easy. I came in next thing i know I woke up with new boobs. The recovery was so easy. I didn't take any serious pain killers other than Advil. The same day of my surgery I was walking around in no pain. The most uncomfortable part of the whole process was sleeping on my back since I usually sleep on my stomach. Other than that, it was all amazing. My breasts look SO natural. Dr Barrett and his staff is amazing , super professional and you can call them about any questions or concerns. They're all very responsive. Came in for an appointment today. Came in early because I can't anticipate the LA traffic. Went for my initial consultation. Everyone was so nice. Met with Rachel and met Dr. Daniel Barrett. They were so sweet and made me feel comfortable. They offered water and the restroom key which was a nice touch. My tips: 1. It helps when you do your research and know what you want. Have all questions ready. Try to listen more than talk to get the most out of the appointment. 2. Some patients who are coming in for post op exams come in too and offer so much insight and advice. They are so happy with their results 2 weeks after so that says a lot. 3. Have your schedules ready. It's easier to schedule follow ups etc. 4. Use the patient photo books to get you excited. There's more work in the books. 5. Wear nice undies. Hehehe. read more

TAKE MY ADVICE AND STOP TRUSTING DR.BARRETT AND HIS STAFF. They are friendly, responsive and reassuring prior to your surgery appointment ONLY. Post surgery, they are the COMPLETE opposite. Especially if your surgery didn't go well. Here's why you SHOULDN'T trust Dr. Barrett with your procedure: 1) My breast implants aren't level. Meaning, one breast is more saggy than the other 2) There's a huge size difference between my breasts 3) They aren't perky in appearance at all I brought this to Dr. Barrett's attention at my follow up appointment the very next day. He said wait for a couple months until they heal a little bit. In February, I let them know AGAIN that I wasn't happy with the result. Rachel was supposed to call me but she NEVER did. I trusted Dr. Barrett and his staff, but in return I felt insulted and pushed around. I had my surgery on a Thursday and I started experiencing a sharp pain 2 days later which was a Saturday. When I called Dr. Barrett's emergency contact line, I got a response back the next day. Finally we decided to do the 2nd surgery to maybe fix some of the issues. Dr. Barrett's wife, Rosalyn mentioned that Dr Barrett will do his best, but still not promising that all concerns will be addressed and that with second surgery there are more complications. I already paid 17K for left and implants. Now it will cost me more money for Dr. Barrett to address only couple of the issues. He wants to do the procedure under local anesthesia, which means I'll be awake for the surgery. I wouldn't want to know what's happening!!! So I emailed them after receiving the invoice and voice my concerns about his confidence in fixing my issues. And ask them to refund my money if he can't address my issue, but I haven't heard back from the office yet. That's why I'm writing a review to save the next patient from making my mistake. Where do I begin. When I first met Dr. Barrett 2 years ago I knew from the second he stepped into the consultation room he was going to be my surgeon. Though times were different where Covid was not a concern I have been to his office for a check up and I was more than pleased with my experience. I will share many details of the process below. Scheduling Consult: The front desk and staff were so efficient and knowledgeable when scheduling my consultation and everything pre op. They answered emails promptly and all phone calls were quick as well. Consultation: From Dr. Barrett's expertise to his empathy for everyone's reason why they are undergoing a procedure he was very professional and kind. He went over implants, size, expectations, and his recommendation. Procedure: I was shocked with how quickly I recovered. I actually had a little bit of anxiety entering the operating room and the nurse held my hand while I was put under. The size is perfect and my breasts are amazing. Hands down the best experience I could have asked for. His wife and team are the absolute best and took such great care of me. I was an out-of-town patient and the process was so easy. They were in constant communication about the next steps and it was always so easy to chat with someone via text. It was so convenient! Dr. Barrett was gracious with his time & discussed with me some options that I had. I decided to get 3 Microneedling with PRP procedures done & I got scheduled with Kelley. Kelley explained each step of the process & is very knowledgeable & made each of my visits a positive experience. She is such a positive & warm soul that I looked forward to each treatment. I'm not happy that they charged me more than they had quoted me. They charged me $5,000 more, than when I talked to them over the phone they told me it was going to be less because the work that was needed for a BBL (in my original quote) was more than a neck liposuction. They supposedly have phone recordings , so they should have had that on record. Which I asked them many times to check it. And they said it costs more to get neck lipo than a bbl and everything was right that it's an extra $5,000. That should have been said before I got work done. Because I didn't agree to that. Dr barret himself made me feel safe watching his videos alone, I'm happy with my results , not 100% because I noticed my tummy tuck when I look down I see it's a little lifted from my right side. But compared to what I looked like I am happy. I just wish it was done a better job. What I was going to get was a mommy maker that included at first tummy tuck with corset muscle repair with lipo, breast augmentation & BBL. I had them switch my BBL to neck lipo instead because my butt is already pretty big and with the work they where going to do it was going to look even bigger, so there was no point. I was undecided about the neck lipo and when I talked to them they said it was going to be cheaper than the bbl and that's why I continued with the process. I asked to speak to Dr Barrett and they also didn't have him call me. They are also not picking up my calls at all anymore. IF YOU GO TO BARRETT PLASTIC SURGERY & for some reason you change your mind on what you would like to get done , please, please MAKE SURE they write the new price down with what is getting switch before you sign anything. read more

I recently moved to LA and have been desperately looking for a place to get a facial. I have been suffering from Maskne and thank God I found Barrett Plastic Surgery. Not only was Kelly the aesthetician AMAZING ,but their Medspa has a facial specifically for MASKNE! No way! I went Barret Plastic Surgery with a good friend. On both occassions, we waited over and over and over again. After multiple hour intervolts. For my original consultation it was quick a But the aftermath was atrocious. We had been waiting a while and finaly he arrives and we again waitwd another hour. He was terrible rude unpolite and inconsiderate. Does not treat patients with any punce of respect. I would not recommned to anyone. read more

Hi this is just a little bit about my skin so you can understand where I'm coming from. I have psoriasis and seborrheic dermatitis and it's been a really long journey for me to be in between doctors and products that promise to be effective but non of them worked and it gets really expensive with the time. Until one day wonderful staff from doctor Barrett gave me some samples just to try the products, I didn't have anything to loose so I started with the really soft and gentle products and I saw a difference and I was so happy that I told them about it and they were more than happy for my results and even advised me to get some other products to improve the results and guess what!! I'm more than happy about it, everything I was looking and expecting for I got it from them and all I can say is that Dr Barrett and his staff were more than helpful with me and after all of this years I finally found people who understood my needs and products that actually work! DO YOUR HOMEWORK LADIES!! DO NOT BOOK THIS DOCTOR! He will leave you botched, looking worse than when you came to him. He will provide terrible after care and treat you like dirt. Please please I urge you to read the negative reviews, take them in and reach out to those patients. You wouldn't believe how many other negative reviews there have been that he has gotten removed somehow. He has been reported to the medical board by multiple patients. I urge anyone who has not filed a complaint with the medical board to do so. He has a very good talk and convincing with his sales pitch. However after you give them your money it's game over. Real true money driven doctor, who does not care about his patients at all. He invest a lot into his marketing sales. He lacks true experience and expertise. Please do not believe everything you see on social media. Do your homework and choose the right doctor. I am extremely thrilled with the amazing experience I had at Barrett Plastic Surgery this morning! I'm turning 25 this month and decided to get Botox on my crows feet and on my frown line. First time doing a preventative Botox treatment, and I am super pleased with the result. From the moment you check in-- Emilia the nurse injector helps recommend specific treatments based on your goals. I came in and told her I wanted preventative Botox done; she recommended my forehead, 11s and eyes. Quick and easy, and really awesome bedside manner. She was informative and kept me talking during the entire procedure. Extremely knowledgeable and she explained what to expect post treatment so I wasn't freaked out when my forehead no longer "moved" . I felt like I had done my research before deciding Dr. Barrett was the Dr for me. But after paying $24k for a breast augmentation with a circumareolar lift and tuberous breast correction on 3/9/21, I'm extremely disappointed in how my results have turned out for the amount of $ I paid. My breasts are much smaller than what I had asked for and have little to no fullness. I have barely any cleavage. My scars around my areolas stretched and one nipple is mis-shapen. My left breast is VERY uncomfortable, I can't hardly lift stuff on that side and the best way I can describe the feeling is that it feels like my implant isn't placed right and is pinching a nerve because my implant on my right side feels fine. To address the scaring I spent another $6k with Dr Barrett's office to do a Co2 laser treatment which helped with the scars rough texture but not the horrible color. I wound up having to pay another $1000 to have my areola scars Microneedled and will soon have scar camouflage done. Ideally I'd love to have my scars revised, but after the amount of feeling I initially lost from the surgery and the nerve issues I still experience In my nipples it's just not worth it. They still feel like tore up surgery nipples. Not MY nipples. (if it's cold outside they BURN and I still get shooting pains in both of them over a year later. It's horrible). Whenever I brought up any issues to Dr Barrett he would largely gas light me and tell my breasts looked great. I made it very clear with him and his wife that I was not happy with my result and they reluctantly agreed to do another surgery but it would run me close to another 10-15k.... like I've already spent $30k with you people on my current boobs, I've stayed consistent over the course of a year that I'm not happy with my result and that one breast is uncomfortable, and you want to charge me ANOTHER 10-15k to redo my breasts with larger implants so I'm happy with my result? No thanks I'll take my business somewhere else. read more

I don't know where to begin, Dr. Barrett changed my life in so many ways! I had been thinking about a breast augmentation since I was 17, but decided to wait a few years to see if my breasts would mature with age or weight gain. During my freshman year of college, the "freshman 15" hit me, and none of the weight went to my breasts--this is when I knew they would never grow! I decided to start researching breast augmentation surgeries, and when looking for a surgeon, I was checking out each surgeon's website looking for the most natural results. I am very athletic, so my main concern was achieving natural results that wouldn't hinder my fit lifestyle! Dr. Barrett's before & afters caught my eye, and after listening to the Skinny Confidential podcast with Dr. B, I was sold! The front desk staff were the most welcoming out of any of the offices I called, and they made me feel excited from the beginning! The surgery itself was such an easy process, and although I had to take a few weeks off from my normal exercise routine, I was able to bounce back fast and became fitter than I was before! My implants have never bothered me during a workout nor have they changed how I perform. I wasn't necessarily insecure before, but after Dr. Barrett's surgery I found a new level of confidence that everyone around me noticed! My parents and friends told me I started radiating positivity and self-esteem. No one even notices that I have implants unless I tell them--they are so natural! While 5 stars to most seems adequate for a top-notch experience, I wish I could give Barrett Plastic Surgery and the ladies in the office an even higher review for how absolutely incredible they were. Having just moved back to the LA area after years in NYC, looking for the perfect office to go to for my injections felt daunting. With so many places to choose from and so many different options in front of me, the one thing that set Barrett apart and what made me choose their office was the informative website, the interactive social media handles showcasing incredible before & afters, and the great things I read on Yelp. When I emailed an inquiry to the office, Sam got back to me within minutes and couldn't have been more helpful in answering my questions and getting me in to an appointment the same week! The forms via the patient portal were online and so easy- once they were filled out I was all set. From the second I walked in to the office I knew i made the right decision. The ladies at the front desk were sweet, welcoming, and so friendly- even offering me still or sparkling water. Once in the room waiting for the nurse, I met Nadia- the Nurse Injector's assistant. WHAT A GEM. She took before photos and was so sweet and easy to talk to- she knew the answer to my initial questions & helped me to settle in easily. The highlight of my visit though was Emilia, the Nurse Injector who is an absolute magician with a needle and the kindest woman around. She walked me through the entire process, looked carefully at my photos to devise the perfect plan for my skin, and was just such a ray of sunshine on what could have easily been a nerve-wracking experience as it was my first time ever getting a procedure done. Not a glamorous surgery at all, but I am pleased to say I had an incredible experience and result with my hernia repair surgery. I developed an umbilical hernia that got worse during my pregnancy. My belly button was bulging out and it was visible even in clothing!!! I had gotten back to my pre-baby weight, but felt awful about this hernia. Dr. Barrett went in and fix the whole thing without mesh which was very impressive. My downtime was minimal and the results look amazing. My belly button is beautiful. The team there is amazing. Normally I would buy general store bought skincare products; and always had suspicion about medical grade and "high end" skincare-- I always thought it was WAY over priced and not really much different than the normal scrubs and exfoliates sold off the shelf at Target. But DANG was I wrong!!! Since working with Kelley the Esthetician and Dr. Barrett's I've been able to clear up my face x10 better than any other skincare routine I've done from store bought products. I had a great first impression of Dr Barrett and his staff. First I reached out to them via email (and other offices) asking specific questions. Other offices didn't answer my questions and just wanted me to schedule an appointment. Dr Barrett's staff answered my questions thoroughly and thoughtfully, and didn't pressure me to make an appointment. After my interaction with them and seeing Dr Barrett's work through his website and social media (Instagram)... I knew I found my doctor! I has…read moreimplants for ten years prior no issues just wanted them to fit my body more and sit closer together... Several weeks later, while traveling internationally, I began feeling extremely sick and developed worsening symptoms. Antibiotics were recommended/called in, but my condition rapidly escalated. I was ultimately diagnosed overseas with an MSSA staph infection that progressed to sepsis, requiring emergency hospitalization in Nice, France. I was taken by ambulance to the hospital with a documented fever of approximately 105 degrees and severe vomiting, and I ultimately underwent emergency explant surgery. I had drain placed and remained hospitalized in France for almost a while recovering. This was one of the most traumatic and frightening experiences of my life. Being seriously ill in a foreign country where I did not speak the language made the situation even more terrifying and isolating. In addition to the emotional and physical trauma, this situation also created significant financial consequences for me, including the original surgery costs, emergency ambulance transport, hospitalization and medical care in France, canceled travel plans, changed flights, and the loss of the European trip I had planned. recovery after this was extremely difficult, and I continued to seek medical care for ongoing symptoms and concerns after returning home. I understand that complications can happen with any surgery. However, based on my personal experience, I was deeply disappointed by the communication, bedside manner, follow-up, and level of support I felt I received during and after this medical crisis. In my opinion, the response did not feel as urgent or supportive as I would have expected given the severity of what I was experiencing. Separate from the medical emergency itself, I was also ultimately unhappy with my cosmetic results. I underwent a revision procedure and I paid additional costs for internal pocket revision work intended to improve implant positioning and symmetry. Despite this, I personally felt the final result appeared uneven, including noticeable asymmetry between my breasts. When I raised concerns, I personally did not feel that my concerns were meaningfully addressed or that I was offered a satisfactory path forward. Given both the aesthetic outcome and the severe medical complications that followed, this entire experience was incredibly disappointing and traumatic for me overall. This review reflects solely my personal experience and opinion as a patient.

ITS being almost a year that this happened and I'm still getting treatments somewhere else to repair the damages! stay away from this place! they paid for some treatments but not all, I am paying by myself because they don't answer and I still have to get nose surgery because I can't breathe well, nostrils are super narrow after this happened . Dr. J YOU DONT KNOW WHAT I HAVE WENT THROUGH AND THE DEPRESSION this has caused me. Lastly my incisions are super thick and ugly around my waist going all the way to my back... I began contacting the clinic in September 2024 with firm intent to book a revision consultation and surgery, and I repeatedly followed all stated policies, including the required waiting period for revision cases. Despite my consistent outreach and commitment, I was never allowed to secure a consultation or place a deposit. When I was finally told I could schedule, I was informed that I would now be charged new 2026 rates -- a 71% increase -- as if I were a brand-new inquiry. At no point during the months-long communication was I advised that rates would increase this dramatically or that I could protect my quote by placing a deposit, which is standard practice elsewhere. Had this been communicated, I would have absolutely done so. The lack of transparency, compassion, and professionalism was shocking, especially given how emotionally and financially difficult revision surgery already is. While Dr. Nassif's reputation for skill and empathy is what drew me to his practice, his administrative staff treated me unfairly, wasted months of my time, and showed no willingness to take accountability. Future patients should be aware of how this office handles long-term inquiries and pricing before committing.

I dreamed and hoped I would one day get to have my tummy tuck done by her. A little backstory, I had a huge ugly appendix scar from when I was 8 years old. It was pretty high up and also "caved" in, therefore very hard to hide even with strong compression shapewear. Then after having my son my whole stomach was, in my opinion, a huge ugly disaster. Almost 7 weeks ago, I was finally able to have my tummy tuck done by Dr. Cat, genuinely a dream come true! I had a tummy tuck with a hernia repair, muscle repair, pubic lift and lipo of the pubic mons. I never had any bruising! Only took Tylenol for the pain for a few days. And the swelling was minimal. Recovery has been fantastic. And now my new tummy looks AMAZING! Every morning after my shower I run to the mirror just to take a look at my new flawless tummy and amazing bellybutton. To say that I am over the moon happy with my results is an understatement. As women, we're definitely very hard on ourselves. Our bodies go through so much and it's hard to see a tummy that doesn't feel like it belongs to us. And although, that body has done some amazing things, we deserve to be comfortable in our own skin. I, for the first time in my life (36+years) saw my tummy free of the stretch marks, the extra skin and the scars that have dictated what I could comfortably wear for my entire life. Because this revision was an extremely complicated procedure, I wanted only the very best surgeon on the case. I searched everywhere -- from Miami to New York to Los Angeles -- and finding Dr. Cat was truly a blessing. I was so nervous to trust another doctor after my previous failed procedure, but even from the very first phone call with Emily, just to schedule my consultation, I felt at ease. When I first met Dr. Cat, I immediately noticed her professional yet kind and genuine aura. Since this was a revision, she was straightforward and honest about what she could do to help me. She didn't sugarcoat anything and set realistic expectations and I appreciated that. It left me feeling excited and hopeful for my procedure. After the consultation, I scheduled my surgery with Amy, who was also just amazing throughout my journey! I also want to mention how thorough and holistic Dr. Cat's approach was when preparing for surgery. She looked at every detail -- from reviewing my medical history to recommending therapy and hyperbaric treatments, even sharing calming links to listen to when I felt anxious. Three days before my procedure, I unfortunately came down with a fever and had to reschedule. I called the office on a Sunday -- and Dr. Cat herself answered. When I told her I was sick, her only concern was my health. She told me to focus on getting better and assured me we'd figure out a new date later. That moment spoke volumes. She wasn't worried about rescheduling an entire surgical day that had been planned for months -- she only cared about my well-being. It brought me to tears, and I knew right then that I had found a doctor who truly cared about her patients. The day of my procedure, of course I was a bit anxious, but I have never felt more at ease or safe. Her incredible team was so calming and reassuring throughout the entire pre-surgery process. My revision surgery lasted over eight hours, and when I woke up, I was in little to no pain. I had been skeptical when I heard that most of Dr. Cat's patients only use Tylenol after their procedures, but it was true for me as well. She is so meticulous and gentle, and I could tell the surgery had been performed with such care. At my one-day post-op visit, when I first saw my stomach, I immediately started crying -- tears of absolute joy. There were a lot of happy tears throughout this emotional journey, and I think it's because this time my experience was the complete opposite of my first procedure in Miami. I also want to give a huge thank-you to Amy, Julie, Karen, Dr. Misra, and Dr. Ma for making my pre-surgery, surgery, and post-surgery experiences run so smoothly. Her team truly feels like a family that wants the best for you. Dr. Cat has given me my confidence back in so many ways, and I am forever grateful!

Her skill, precision, and honesty are unmatched, and the level of empathy that she's able to maintain throughout every single appointment is something that cannot be replicated. She also has no problem with saying no, which I think is one of the greatest traits an injector can have, and always follows up with a thorough explanation of her rationale in a way that is easily digestible. I've been going to her for over 3 years now for Dysport in different parts of my face as well as my traps, have had zero complications, and have loved how natural my results have been every time. I moved up to Norcal a year ago, but still fly down every 4-5 months to see her. Furthermore, in March, after seeing Angella for my initial follow-up dose of Dsyport, I made the mistake of getting a touch-up with someone else in NorCal because I did not have time to come back down to LA within the time frame that I needed to. For context, my masseters are just extremely strong and sometimes require more units than expected, since it depends on how much teeth grinding I do both at night and throughout the day, all of which is heavily influenced by how stressed I am from school and work. This is unfortunately something that I wish I had never done because their approach was not compatible with the goals that I had communicated to them, leaving me with my left masseters looking larger than the right, as well as my face looking rounder because of where they injected the Dysport. Waiting a couple of months for this second round of Dysport to wear off was extremely frustrating and interfered significantly with my understanding of my image. When I saw Angella again after 4 months, she immediately noticed the imbalance in my face and explained the exact technique she would use to address it, aligning directly with my goals and remembering them. I walked away from this appointment feeling incredibly grateful for her and beyond excited to be reunited, and also so sure that I would never let anyone else touch my face out of convenience ever again. All in all, I could not recommend Angella more. She is a true artist and gem in the world of aesthetic medicine, and she's made me feel so confident in myself.

I started my consultation journey about five months after my twins were born and I was about 30 pounds heavier than my usual weight. Dr. Zarrabi was not only incredibly thorough during the consult but SO SO honest. He was the only surgeon who showed me how I would look if I went into the procedure being heavier than my ideal weight. When asked if I was happy with how I would look if we did the procedure now, I said no. Dr. Zarrabi was the only surgeon who was honest encourage me to try to get to my goal weight before proceeding with surgery. He was also the only surgeon to advise me that I had muscle separation in my stomach which needed repair. One year and 40 pounds later, I had my mommy makeover a week ago. Dr. Zarrabi spent hours with me in multiple pre-op appointments when I couldn't decide if I wanted a breast lift or a lift with implants. Him and his staff also continuously checked in on me prior to my surgery, knowing how anxious I was because I had never gone under anesthesia. He even ensured I had the best anesthesiologist to ease my anxiety. Following the surgery, he called me multiple times from his cell phone even FaceTiming me when I told him I had low blood pressure to check my incisions to make sure everything looked okay. Celina suggested that we could try a luminary hard gel overlay on my natural nails for long-lasting strength (~1 month) and nail growth without the need for gel-x/tips. No other nail technician had ever mentioned this as an option, and I am so happy with how it turned out! As someone who always had extensions, I've never seen my natural nails look so good in my life! Not only do they look great, but they also feel so strong, and I don't have to worry about them breaking. I can not say how glad I am to have chosen Dr. Barrett to be my PS for my breast augmentation. I have one child, and breast feeding had left me with a little bit of extra skin. You couldn't tell if i was just standing, but it was more apparent when pulling on the skin. Fitting a bra correctly was a mission and a half. I started off at a 30A bra size and ended up at a 30DD. 350cc saline. My breasts do not look like DD's though. They fit my body very well. My stats: 350cc Saline Moderate Profile+ (Most natural looking profile to give me a mix between width and projection) 30DD Weight (with implants): 97 Height 5'5" After deliberating for the past couple years, I finally decided it was time to go through with the surgery. I decided to do A TON of research on various doctors in Orange County at different levels of pricing, the highest being $11,000. I saw 5 doctors in Orange County and each had their own opinion. I did not have a good feeling with any of them. One was an asshole who tried to add a procedure i didn't need for an extra $1600. Another straight out asked me what i was willing to spend and refused to tell me the price until i gave him a number. Who does that??? Although the most expensive doctor was very educational and his work beautiful, the price was a little too steep for me. I decided to branch out and research Los Angeles doctors and found Dr. Barrett. I read his yelp reviews and watched his video clip. I had a feeling inside I needed to go see him. I set my appointment with Rosalyn who is an absolute doll! I love her! She spent so much time with me on the phone which I totally appreciated. My consultation with Dr. B was great! I love that he doesn't have this know it all attitude that i've come across with other doctors. Every other doctor i saw knocked down another doctor when I told them what they each suggested. Dr. B did not do that at all. He just listened to me, and I felt we were making decisions together vs feeling bulldozed with what a doctor thinks I should do. What i love about Dr. B is that he has the same vision I do. I wanted the largest size I could go that would still allow me to have natural looking breasts. I did not want torpedo boobs or giant basketballs. My frame is extremely petite. I could easily have the porn star look if i went any larger which I hate. We decided going through the areola was the best thing for me. Because i decided to go with saline, Dr. B had ordered various sizes for me as you don't really know how the implants will look inside of you until you're on the table. I trusted Dr. B enough to make the judgment call on what size I'd end up. So my final size is 350cc, and I couldn't be happier! I thought i was going to wake up with them extremely high like i have seen, but to my surprise, they weren't. They were beautiful right out the gate. I knew that they were going to eventually drop and shape beautifully. I was extremely nervous the day of the surgery, but Dr. B's team took such great care of me. I have never been under in my life. His anesthesiologist is a sweetheart. He walked with me to the surgery room, and his words made me so calm and relaxed. Dr. B's work is excellent! When i saw his work on a patient who had breast cancer, i thought wowwwwww completely symmetrical and amazing. That really sold it for me. Ladies, if you are considering getting a breast augmentation, see Dr. Barrett! Do not stay fixated on bra size. I thought i was going to be a C and ended up a DD. Just remember, you can always wear a push up bra to make them look even larger, but you can't make huge breast implants look smaller. You can make church appropriate boobs look like party boobs but you can't vice versa. ;) Your skin will also thank you for it. If you go way too large, you will need to constantly support them with a bra or else sagging will eventually occur, and you will need to redo them in a few years. I go bra-less all the time without a worry. I had one visit per week with Dr. B up until this point to monitor my healing. He also called me the day after surgery to check up on me. The drive from my house to the office, round trip with traffic, is 3 hrs but so worth it. I am glad I found a Dr. who does great work and feel I can connect with. So important to have both! That's where trust is built. My breasts are still settling. I am only 6 weeks post op. I've received so many compliments over them. I can't wait to see the final results after massaging them for the next 6 months. Once my gap closes a little more I will be stoked! Thank you Dr. B, your staff and Rosalyn!!! Here I am again. As I knew they would they deleted my 1 star review. I have attached my previous review for proof they will do everything to delete their 1 star reviews. Let me start by saying, because the owner (Barrett) and his wife (Rosalyn) have already bribed me to delete my former review holding my refund hostage, I am going to be taking a screenshot of this review as a receipt if she threatens me with her fake 'management' team. Rosalyn told me her 'management team' will require me to take down the review in order to process my refund, Management team? I did not delete my review, so I did not get my refund, but lo and behold my 1 star review vanished. You are the owner, so first you do not answer to an accounting team (I called for accounting and it does not exist) nor a management team you answer to, you are a liar. My experience is similar to many others. I came in to see what I thought was a top of class surgeon. He talks a great game, but do not be fooled, you are paying for his fame. He wildly overcharged me. I still took the bait. I placed my surgical deposit and had my surgery, believing his hand selected before and after results were the norm not the anomaly. My breast were awful from day 1 post op. I can tell immediately they were at different heights, one sat up much higher than the other. I was passed from person to person NEVER did Barrett himself reply as he does not speak unless paid, never getting a straight answer to my concerns. I was told they are still healing, be patient. Weeks and months passed and with ever disappointing follow up that hack of a doctor would tell me 'breasts are sisters not twins'. Are you kidding me with that canned response? I know what my boobs looked like before I saw you and what they look like now, I am embarrassed. One sits almost two inches higher, they are two different sizes because that is WHAT HE chose with his 'on table sizing' that he also boasts about. The kicker was when I asked the person removing my stitches during my first appointment after my surgery why my incisions looked like two different people did them, she shrugged. Also, there was a comment made between the two girls that the stitches on one said were tied 'funny' and she had issues taking them out. Wait, what? Did two different people do my surgery? I then asked if they were nurses and one replied no, we are 'MAs'. Can you remove stitches? What kind of 'medical facility' is this? Who is actually doing the surgeries? Do NOT tell me my boobs are sisters not twins and then offer to REVISE them for a price that is ALMOST the same as what I paid for the first time around! I paid $18k for what I can only describe as a back alley surgery and now you and your crazy wife are telling me 'well this is aesthetic and not medical so if you want it fixed you have to pay?' WHAT? If nudity was allowed on Yelp, I would put my botched boobs on a platform. Your employees look afraid of both of you, the office seems cold, the 'DR' barked at one of the girls in the room to get some instrument and then I could hear him cussing just outside the door. 'How the f am I supposed to do my job without my (instrument)' no wonder they all act like abused children. Your business is a fraud. Patients beware. Read the reviews, read the other platform reviews, do your research. DO NOT trust Barrett or his Wife. The one star reviews are consistently deleted by the owners or the marketing director, and offset by fraudulent employee reviews. They employees have their faces in the reviews and I recognize them! How stupid do you think we are? I want to report Barrett and his Wife for malpractice. But for some reason, I feel like that too will be deleted. They are clearly above the law, above any morals, scruples or even common human decency or medical oath. Yelp should monitor their review platform manipulation more closely. My breast augmentation experience with Dr. Barrett in January 2020 was beyond exceptional. I have been considering a breast augmentation for 10 years but I was always so scared of going under anesthesia so it took me a long time to work up the courage to book a consultation. I live near Vancouver, Canada, and I had a consultation in 2016 with a doctor in Vancouver but I decided not to go through with it because I still felt too nervous. The thought of getting one was always in the back of my mind but I wasn't actively searching for surgeons. I found Dr. Barrett through a podcast I listen to regularly, he was being interviewed by a girl I follow on social media whose breasts he did and they looked great. I listened to his interview and he seemed so kind and calm and passionate about his work. He seemed like he was always on top of new processes that improve your experience and he is very much about natural looking results which was exactly what I was looking for. As I was listening, one thing he said that stood out to me was "the #1 thing my patients say is "why didn't I do this sooner?" and that really spoke to me because I pictured myself saying that if I decided to go through with it. I then researched Dr. Barrett and began following him on social media. This was key to eliminating my fear of being under anesthesia because he posts videos of his surgeries on Instagram Stories and being able to see exactly what happens and how the process works made him seem very confident and proud of his work because he was willing to be so transparent. I watched many videos of breast augmentations he did before finally booking my consultation. We did a virtual consultation via Skype in November and I booked my surgery for January. Being an out of town patient meant I was also booking flights and accommodations but I can 100% say every cost was worth it. I then did an in-person consultation the day before my surgery and he took measurements and I was able to meet him and the team in person. They really take the time for you and you never feel like you're "just another patient." I never once considered doing consultations with any other doctors after finding Dr. Barrett. This may sound crazy but I had full confidence that he could get me where I wanted to be based on what I'd seen of his work and his before and after photos. Rachel, his patient coordinator is amazing at her job! She answers every question you have so quickly and makes you feel way more excited than nervous! During recovery I had SO MANY questions and they were extremely helpful over the phone and email whenever I had a question about the healing process because I was an out of town patient. Amanda, his head nurse has such an amazing calming energy and really eased my mind as I was prepping for surgery. Also, his anesthesiologist calls you personally before surgery to discuss any concerns you may have and goes over your health history, which I thought was a very nice touch that made me feel much more at ease. I only took Advil for a few days following my surgery, I didn't need anything stronger. I joined a Facebook group for women with breast implants and from what I have read about many of their experiences at other places, I can truly say that I got an exceptional, 5 star experience and I couldn't imagine going anywhere else. I am now 9 weeks post op and SO HAPPY with my results. I got 325cc's in both sides and they're so natural looking, they suit my body and I'm able to wear clothing I wouldn't have felt comfortable in before. I have completed my consult and paid for surgery, so I can only comment on that part so far. My wife had her boobs done with Barrett and raves about their process. She looks amazing. I chose Dr Barrett because I want the incision through my nipple so there's no scar. He's the only Dr I've talked to that can achieve this with my body. IN SHORT: They make the scheduling and consult process smoother and more "feel-goody" than any other practice I've interacted with so far. Dr Barrett is BUSY. I consider myself a very busy small business owner, but his calendar and work load blows me away. That being said, I am truly impressed with how Dr Barrett and his staff made me feel personally important to them. When we go to these consults, we are in a vulnerable place. It can be scary. They made me feel safe and cared for. They also didn't misgender me even once, which is rare for me. I am trans female, but still very much look masc. Most people try to be nice, but eventually call me "Sir," "man" or "dude." His staff nailed it every time. This tells me that they consciously make an effort to show that they care about how people feel, even when it's not easy. I traveled to LA from Nevada for my consults with them. For my second consult (I had two because I was too early on my hormones the first time) they had some kind of calendar error and I was not on their schedule. Calendar errors happen to the best of us. It was totally ok though. I barely had to wait. They gave me a bottle of water. There was ZERO blaming or snippy-ness with me or each other. Keep in mind, they are busy AF, and squeezing someone in last minute is considerably complex. They did whatever they had to do and got Dr Barrett in a room with me. He didn't seem stressed at all. He was clearly respectful and kind to his staff (this is rare in my experience). He was even able to do some Botox injections (at a cheaper rate than what I pay in Nevada) during my consult. I had a buttload of questions. He addressed them all. I left feeling happy. When everything is going smooth, any business can be easy to work with. When something goes wrong and they gracefully solve the issue, you know you are working with a good team made up of good people. This is important. Love Dr. Barrett, Rosalyn and the whole team! I got liposuction and fat transfer done to my breasts less than 6 months ago. I have been to many offices but with Dr. Barrett it just felt right. He made me feel very comfortable and I trusted him. I always wanted fuller breasts but didn't want to use implants. I was thrilled Dr. Barrett gave the option of fat transfer. This means completely natural boobies, flatter stomach, slimmer legs and arms, and no banana rolls. Woohoo! So we did all this. I was felling very scared as this was my very first surgery but Dr. Barrett and his team made me feel calm. Even one of his nurses held my hand until I fell asleep from anesthesia, its magical how just that made me feel so safe and calm. Everything went and turned out great. As this is fat transfer, you need to be realistic however because it is only up to one cup size difference. And luckily in my case, my body kept almost all the fat that was inserted. I guess my body likes fat ;). So please be realistic with what to expect because if you want more than one cup size you should do implants. And Dr. Barrett is so great at it too. That is the main reason why I went to him because I saw the natural results he achieves with implants but was thrilled to hear about fat transfer. Also, I didn't do much research about liposuction so after the surgery I panicked when I saw myself bruising but Dr. Barrett was always there for me, calming me down. He was always ready to answer my questions at all the hours. So, do your research and if you are a bruiser like me, know that you will bruise but surprisingly the bruising vanishes completely in 3 weeks and Arnica gel and homeopathic pills work like magic. My recovery was pretty good and fast. I just realized that it is less than 6 months and I don't even feel like I had a surgery done. They say it usually takes 6 months to feel completely normal. Also, Dr. Barrett really pays attention to scarring. They healed pretty well. The scars on my breasts, you cannot see at all! They were great with the follow up appointments making sure I heal well and answering my million questions. Highly recommend him and his team! read more

I've never even had Botox before but came here when I decided it was time to get chin lipo and my jaw contoured. I followed Dr. Barrett on Instagram and appreciated his expertise, transparency and humor. From the moment I booked my consultation to post surgery, the staff was not only super attentive but also super enthusiastic and excited for me. I went with Dr. Yamin, the associate doctor, and couldn't be happier. He was very intelligent, professional, informative and patient with me about various questions I had during the consultation. His staff did their diligence in following up with me on forms, blood tests, covid tests, etc. I like that there is a portal you can sign into to take care of everything paperwork wise and also ask any questions. The staff always would call within a few hours if I had a question. The surgery started with the anesthesiologist asking me to meditate and think positive vibes (so LA but loved it) and very quickly I was in and out of surgery and on my way home. They recommended a lot of vitamins, cbd and supplements in addition to antibiotics and painkillers which I appreciated and mostly bought on my own to save money. The office is clean and there is easy valet parking, always a plus. They never tried to push any sales or additional procedures on me aside from scar gel which I was happy to buy. My first two days of recovery were definitely uncomfortable but no serious pain and no need for painkillers after that. Within a few days, I was sore but functional. My follow ups have been great. Only 2 weeks post op and already blown away by the results. I couldn't be happier! My only feedback would be a little more clarity from the staff on payment schedule prior to the consultation. (Once you come in for a consultation and agree to surgery, they want you to put down a deposit on the surgery that day. Was totally fine, just didn't expect that.) I had one of the best experiences with Dr. Barrett and the team at Barrett Plastic Surgery! I went in for a breast augmentation, and from the moment I saw his work, I knew he was the doctor I wanted to go with. His results stood out immediately -- especially how natural and consistent his breast augmentations looked compared to so many other surgeons I researched. When people say "do your research," I honestly feel like Dr. Barrett's Instagram gave me so many of the answers I was looking for. His page was incredibly informative about the entire process, and seeing so many real patient results gave me a huge sense of confidence and trust. Funny enough, by the time surgery came around, I barely even stressed about the specifics because I trusted that he knew exactly what would look best for my body and the outcome I wanted. The day of surgery, I felt so cared for by both Dr. Barrett and his entire staff. Everyone was kind, calming, and supportive, which helped ease my nerves tremendously. I researched for several weeks and attended multiple consults for breast augmentation before meeting Dr. Barrett and within 10 minutes I knew he and his entire staff were IT! I was so nervous bout even doing this surgery and all of my worries were put to ease!! First of all, let's talk about the office. It's so clean, not to mention stylish, and beautifully decorated!! The team was very friendly; They answered all of my questions and emailed me with precise instructions before the arrival of the appointment. The primary reason I knew I had to have Dr. Barrett was the way he asked me about my goals, my lifestyle, and why I wanted surgery in the first place. We reviewed implant type, size, shape, and texture and he helped me make the decision without being overwhelmed with options. Colbie was with me during my entire consultation as well which offered an additional sense of reassurance. I love that Dr. Barrett decides final sizing during surgery with a custom sizing approach rather than determining size just based off measurements. This is very unique from the consultations for Breast Augmentation that I went to previously. My surgery in itself was quick and nearly painless. I took off 2 days from work prior to the long holiday and I easily could have gone back to work (office job) the very next day. I went shopping for a few hours the day after my surgery. I think his experience with breast surgery made it seamless, minimally invasive and my incisions are small and painless. Dr. Barrett uses a unique post-op care approach which I really appreciate and feel like he actually cares about health and wellness!! This is my go to place in Los Angeles when it comes to enhancing your look. I first came here back in December for my first set of lip filler. I have never gotten anything done before so naturally I was extremely nervous! Rosalyn who works the front desk and contacts patents before and after their appointment is amazing! She made me feel so comfortable and like I could ask her anything! The first experience was amazing! Dr. Barrett is all about enhancing what you have and not making you look like 90% of the LA population who has gotten anything done. A month later (happy with my new plump lips) I was looking to add a little more fullness to my lips and the second time around, I knew they would take amazing care of me and had no nervous feelings or fear. LOVED LOVED my lips the second time and Dr. Barrett knew what I wanted. When I was waiting for my appointment in the waiting room, I was talking to Rosalyn about cheek filler and how I always have to contour daily to give the illusion I have a higher check bone. We talked and she told me about Restylane which is used for cheek filler and she told me how affordable it would be! Let's just say a couple weeks later I was back for the cheeks and ended up loving the results and can't be thankful enough to find Rosalyn and Dr. Barrett, literally a power team! I also want to include, I felt no pain when I got my lips or cheeks done, it was quick and easy and they knew exactly what results I was looking for. I had the BA and lift surgery in May of 2021 and ended up with a few issues. I now have a "double bubble" on both breasts. There was a lot of drooping less than a year after the lift and augmentation. One implant sits noticeably lower than the other and tends to travel toward my armpit when I lay down. My new areolas are 2 totally different sizes and one is misshapen. The pre-op markings happened the day before my surgery at my friend's consultation and felt rushed. I believe this is the reason for the misshapen areolas. On the actual day of my surgery I didn't talk to Dr. Barrett before surgery. The blanket they gave me before surgery felt like burlap material, was very fibrous and was shedding. To me it seemed like something you don't want in an ER. After surgery they put me in a wheelchair and took me to the back door. My ride was about 10 minutes late and they left me in the wheelchair by myself at the door until my friend came to pick me up. After talking about a revision with the office staff, the final offer is for me to pay another $6,500 for revision surgery. I was told that these issues are due to my healing wrong and are in no way related to the quality of surgery and that I am lucky to have this offer of only an additional $6,500. No explanation for the misshapen and asymmetrical areolas. No explanation or idea as to what "went wrong" in the healing process to cause the issues above. I was 37 when I had the surgery, not a smoker, no health issues and I workout regularly. There were also some other issues with the whole process but I'll save that for anyone who wants to chat privately. Thank goodness Dr. Barrett is an Instagram star! I don't say that lightly as I was determined to find a surgeon whose work speaks for itself. I selected him for a breast implant revision--which I'd wanted since the day I woke up from my original surgery (different doc) 10 years prior with implants that were far too big for my petite frame and not at all what I'd asked for...imagine my surprise going from a AA to 30F. With the revision, it was especially important for me to find a surgeon who listened to and understood exactly my goals of having smaller, more natural-looking breasts. Dr. Barret took me from 450 cc down to 275 cc with pocket repairs and I've healed wonderfully. I feel much more confident and professional in my body. My resistance training workouts have improved with increased range of motion. Clothing fits much more appropriately and I'm free of dealing with the unwanted attention I was getting with the larger implants. I no longer feel like hiding my body! I wish I had done this sooner as I'm loving my results. The icing on the cake is the integrative approach to healing that Dr. Barrett strives for with his patients. As a functional medicine doctor myself, I am pleased to see gut health, digestive enzymes, detox IV's, red light therapy, etc. prioritized in his practice. These options make a world of difference in rapid healing and I knew from the get-go I had the best surgeon in my corner. So many amazing things to say about Dr. Barrett and his staff! I live in Las Vegas and looked for a board Certified surgeon to do my tummy tuck and lipo suction and after a year of searching in my area and not finding someone I absolutely loved I started searching outside of Las Vegas. I was determined to find a surgeon I absolutely loved. I found Dr. Barrett through Instagram and watched his insta stories then subscribed to his YouTube. He is very educational and doesn't show the same patients before and afters, he shows different body sizes for reference. Almost 6 mo the later I booked my consultation. He does virtual consultations but I wanted to come in and meet him in person. First impression, his office is amazing the girls were very welcoming. When he came in the room he had taken the time to read my chart and knew I had traveled to see him, he gave me a hug. We discussed what I wanted and he gave me realistic responses. He answered all my questions and wasn't rushing or suggesting other things I should get done. Being in The medical field bedside manner is a must! Dr. Barrett checked ALL of the boxes! I met with Rachael after to discuss pricing and she was not pushy at all she gave me payment options and told me to book when I was ready. Fast foray to my actual surgery day and nothing changed everyone was great the anesthesiologist, Dr Silverstein came in and spoke to me and my fiancé and really helped calm my nerves. I am so thankful I found this place! When I first started looking for a surgeon to do my breast augmentation I was a little overwhelmed not knowing the right direction to go, but after reading enough about Dr. Barrett, seeing photos of his work and the bright beautiful facility, and speaking with the staff there; I felt so confident that was where I wanted to go! And I am so happy I did because the whole experience has been amazing and I am over the moon about my results, they look so perfect! I was beyond excited when I found Dr. Barrett. He specialized in what I was looking for, which was a natural looking breast augmentation. I went in, spoke to Rachel and Sonia (who are the sweetest by the way) and they went over everything with me. I had been thinking of getting my breasts done since I was 18 and I am 27 now. I spoke to 3 doctors that were dishonest and did not really care about how I was feeling as the patient. I spoke to Dr. Barrett and he listened to my concerns and fears about surgery and assured me everything would be ok. Jumping ahead to actual surgery day... I went in at 6:00 am, still scared (I've never had a surgery) and his nurses made me so comfortable. The anesthesiologist came in and told me how everything was going to happen, so that eased my mind a lot. Finally, it was time for surgery and I laid on the surgical table and it was already warm for me and so comforting. My anesthesiologist came in and gave me the meds through my IV and I was OUT! Seriously. Next thing I knew, I woke up and was in NO pain. None. I just felt a little pressure. I went home and went about my day normally. I was up and walking. Absolutely no discomfort at all. I underwent scar revision surgery performed by Dr. Barret. When the bandage was removed, I noticed a dimple around the scar. When I questioned this, The staff and Dr assured me that it would go away. However, even after many years, the dimple has not disappeared. I attempted to book an appointment but was repeatedly asked to pay for a consultation, despite my circumstances. After numerous emails and the threat to report to the medical board of California, I was eventually seen without charge. During the consultation, Dr. barrret expressed uncertainty as to why the dimple had not resolved and suggested I have an X-ray to investigate if there was an issue with the underlying bone. I was denied access to my medical file, which contained before and after pictures that would have shown the absence of the dimple prior to the scar revision. Based on my research, this issue can occur when the skin is stitched too tightly. I have reported this doctor to the medical board of california for the second time with 4 other patients that I found on the reviews, you will pay the price Dr. Barret for mistreating the wrong people, it will not stop. Don't recommend at all, there are many good doctors in Beverly Hills, do yourself a favor and find a good doctor that doesn't care only about money! read more

Dr Barrett is an extremely talented surgeon, with exceptional bedside manner and professionalism. His office is run incredibly smoothly and all his staff and nurses are very well trained and responsive. He performed a breast augmentation with silicone implants, and liposuction abd/flanks for me and i could not be happier with the results. I'm so glad that after over 20 years I finally did it. I knew Dr Barrett was the only surgeon I would trust to do it as there are many in Los Angeles. I met with other surgeons who made me uncomfortable and didn't know i was a doctor/associate professor who performs procedures in the OR at an academic university in LA, and they treated me with condescendence and misogyny and even mansplaining. Dr Barrett is the opposite. He is the nicest person, incredibly respectful, asks about you first and truly respects you and your needs. For example, I can tell that the details i mentioned about my liposuction he really paid attention to and spent a lot of time perfecting. I have abs again! My breasts are exactly how i always wanted too! He is such a good listener, a perfectionist, and an artist and that is what you want in a good surgeon. I had an umbilicoplasty, and a cyst removal.To start off, Dr. Barrett, and his team are outstanding. I felt nothing but comfortable from the minute I walked in, to the second I stepped out. Rachael and Rosalyn retained me from being so nervous by ensuring that I was going to be okay and that I wasn't going to feel anything after the local anesthesia, which was very true. Also, his surgical assistants were so sweet to me! I couldn't have asked for better ones. I've always disliked my outtie belly button and was extremely shy about being in a bathing suit. Dr. Barrett did a quick 30 minute procedure that changed my life! I no longer hide behind towels at the beach because I now have a cute innie belly button! this procedure boosted my confidence by 100%. Also, I have a minor case of Hidradenitis suppurativa. Everyone that has this skin problem knows what a pain it is to hear "its just a cyst." It has a name! And it's SO relieving that Dr. Barrett knows EXACTLY what it is. He removed a cyst on my groin. The scarring has gone down greatly from the scar cream he has for sale so I recommend buying it. Omg!! I HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE, January 2019 I went in for a simple procedure and it is now gonna cost me near $43k to get the mess he made fixed. From the moment I woke up from surgery I knew something was wrong, next day on my post-op check-up I expressed my concern to Dr. Barrett and he said it was normal, same thing happen after my 2 weeks check-up. I made an appointment at 2 & 4 months after and every time I expressed my concern and pointed out what was wrong; his response was "Is normal" .. I knew it was NOT normal like he said, the easiest way to describe what the result of my operation "I'm botched"... I had a 2nd & 3rd opinion from 2 excellent plastic surgeons and they both said the same thing, I'm botched, it is costing me a lot specially after just having to pay Dr. Barrett for the procedure months ago. I would never recommend anyone waste their money here. For the amount of money spent, it is not worth it to deal with this level of unprofessionalism they also keep offering me refunds and extra money to don't publish this review, but this may put people in health problems like this scammers did. Find a good doctor that values your time as well as a good surgery experience. read more
