    Love it!

Did not get to try it, but will give it 5 stars for the wonderful smell and the artwork on the wall. We had just eaten, but wished I would have saved room for this extensive menu. Will be back on the weekend for some Menudo!

This place is incredible. The definition of a hole in the wall. It was recommended to me at Italian Infusion (their sister resturaunt that is also incredible), and I decided to try it. I got the el cochi loco fries, al pastor tacos, and caramel churros. They are generous with the portions and were not skimpy with the meat. The churros were the best I've ever had. I was full and had enough food left over for 1-2 meals. Perfection.

We stopped on the way through for a breakfast burrito which was good. Standard fair with egg, potato, bacon, cheese, and green chilies. The folks at the counter were incredibly friendly. For a little place inside a gas station the menu looked huge and there is a good sized dining area. We would definitely stop again!

Delicious tacos, nice and fresh and hot! The salsa is so hot but flavorful. Greta service as well. What a gem.

New to the area and this is the 1st place I stopped to eat. Food was good, I'm a frequent customer now. I recommend this place.

Don't let the fact it's in a Circle K fool you. Delicious breakfast burritos! Loved how spicy & fresh the green chili was!

I had hoped to order sopapillas but we were there too early for them to be making them. As we were asking for the check, our server Leticia came by and asked if I still wanted a sopapilla. She brought one over to me with the check, for free. It was such a sweet small gesture--and it was delicious.

Not very hungry, I ordered a Frito Pie (what I consider a small dish that is always ok, but nothing special. ) First, this came with a large bowl of beans and ground beef in the best red chile I've ever tasted. After over eating at the restaurant, I brought half of this dish home for another meal. My wife had a small ground beef stuffed sopapilla with green chile. She said it was excellent and also had leftovers. My daughter had the Enchiladas Especial with Christmas and said it was outstanding as well. Dinner finished with three large and delicious sopapillas and honey. Service was excellent, the ambiance of the restaurant comfortable and relaxing. I can imagine there may be times we will drive up from Albuquerque just for a truly amazing New Mexican meal.

This was BFF's first time here and he loved it. Both he and mom ordered the carne adovada plate which came with refried beans and rice (they did state that the red chile was too spicy though). I ordered a bean and cheese burrito with both red and green chile (Xmas style). It was ok but 16 bucks for this was too expensive. We also ordered a margarita each and they were also just ok and too expensive at 13 bucks each. As for the parking, it is kind of confusing but there is plenty of (unmarked) spots and kind of like a maze. We dropped off mom on the side (she is handicapped) as there really isn't a front side where you can drop off anyone. Our server was so genuinely nice though and provided excellent service and she went above as well as she noticed us dropping mom off via the cameras and told us we could go out through the side entrance. Would I be back? Most likely not as I had mentioned above that this place has never been one of my favorites but I am sure I am in the minority. I hear it is quite the place to be seen (for happy hour).

My mother had tried this place for the first time last month and really enjoyed it, so while visiting my hometown this past weekend, I told her I wanted to try it as well, and so glad I did! I was a little apprehensive to go any later than 1pm (closes at 3pm) as I don't like to patronize any restaurant so close to quittin' time in order to not feel rushed; however, although it was fairly busy, we were seated promptly and our food came out quickly! Speaking of food, our meal was great and portioned perfectly (not too big, not too small). My go to is usually a stuffed sopaipilla with ground beef or just beans and cheese; however, I decided to try the two tamale plate and was not disappointed! I chose red chile and it was spicy and flavorful and the tamales weren't dry at all. My mom ordered the flautas plate and they were HUGE as she could only eat 1.5 (I ate the remainder at home lol). My bestie wasn't in the mood for NM food so he ordered breakfast (chicken fried steak and eggs) and said it was very good. The complimentary sopaipillas were the BEST! I even complimented our server Javier (whom my mom pointed out used to be the mayor of Espanola) that they were spot on! As for service, it was excellent, and as I noted above, Javier (owner) was awesome! Very friendly, personable, efficient, with a sense of humor. Will definitely be my "go to" native NM restaurant when visiting back home.
