Reasonably priced coffee and a nice space (w/plenty of room) to do work or talk with friends. Recently tried the pistachio mint latte ($5.75 for a 12oz), which was surprisingly good (not too sweet and the flavors weren't overwhelming). I love the natural light & high ceilings at this location, really makes the whole place feel spacious! There's also quite a large selection of wines available for purchase in the front.

Great coffee, baked goods and quick breakfast items. The coffee was really good and they had lots of non dairy cream options. The cookies are a must- especially the oatmeal raisin. They were great about making modifications to the breakfast bowls which was really tasty and vegan! Lots of seating available. Would definitely go back.

I was a frequent occupant of Barriques before the COVID-19 pandemic, so I am really missing working and studying in their wonderful cafes. Fortunately, they have an amazing system for curbside pickup! Their warm chocolate espresso and maple pecan scones are an amazing treat + their lattes, cold brews and sport teas are the perfect pick me up before-after getting outside and physically distancing!

Though I've been to the W Wash location quite a few times, today was my first visit to the Barriques in Middleton! It's conveniently placed on my route to work so I'll be sure to be stopping in much more frequently :) Decided to go with the Veggie Quiche today. Although the scones looked absolutely delicious, I wanted something warm (and with some protein). Service was friendly and fast -- I asked for the quiche to go, so they warmed it up and served it to me in a plastic container to take along with me. I heated it a little more after getting to work, seasoned with some s&p, and it is quite delicious I must say! We'll see how full it keeps me for the day, but I would definitely get this again. On my next visits coming up I know the scones will be my weakness -- I'm excited to try the Maple Pecan and Mixed Berry! I've already had the Chocolate Chip Espresso and Cranberry Almond, and while both are great I'd recommend the Chocolate Chip Espresso first. That espresso glaze is ~magical~. Overall, I know I can always rely on Barriques for something delicious (food or drink), no matter which location!

    Iced Chai Latte

The iced chai I ordered was extremely subpar, and had clumps of spice(?) in it. It tasted terrible, I couldn't finish it. Overpriced for the quality

Service was very good and fast. We did a carry out order. Croissants were soft, flaky and very good. Iced latte was very good.

My go cafe in Middleton. Has parking. Enthusiastic working staff. The cafe mocha and sweets are fine. Great small town atmosphere.

Service wasn't friendly and they weren't busy. Prices are expensive and I could've gotten better coffee elsewhere

Shortly after another person came out from the back which sped things along nicely. I ordered a special iced coffee drink and a mushroom empanada and both were amazing! She commented that rhymes will not do penny's, I said " good thing it is an even amount then ". Then she made my drink and told me that it separated and she didn't know how but that she tried to stir it. The iced coffee doesn't taste exceptional but it will due. Seems that this coffee shop has some work to do as it is new. The decor is amazing and very quaint with cushions and pillows, comfy chairs both soft and wood, greenery hanging from the ceiling giving it a cafe vibe. The pastries look really good but I have hesitation on trying any. I will come back once they are more established and update my review. This is a first impression review. I want to come back and I want it to be a hit because it is a nice spot and really lovely inside. There is a huge window wall door style that will be open during nicer weather with a patio that seems really cool to sit and chat or work. I would love to see this place do well!!

I knocked a star off because they use so much plastic in packing...I understand the beans need some kind a plastic bag, but they also lade the package with a bunch of bubble wrap. I think they could reduce the plastic packaging a bit. That said, good store with good products. Buy now and maybe avoid the hikes from the tarrifs!

They sell green coffee and sent some samples as part of the roaster sale. Roaster price was competitive. Their website is easy to use. Since I was new to coffee roasting, I figured I'd buy green coffee from Burman, until I found more sellers; but, I haven't changed sellers. I'm sure there are other good ones out there. But Burman has been very responsive, has a great online POS system, good info about the beans they sell, and the one time I had a questions, I received a prompt response. As I learn more about green beans, I'm pretty certain Burman is providing the best quality -- and, they have an awesome variety. After a while, you want to pick a few goto's, but its hard with Burman -- Its like a candy store. I've been happy with their BCT Espresso green blend as a good all around coffee. Then I like the Bob-o-link from Brazil. Also Ethiopian Asikana Birbir Sololiya Org. Natural Gr 1, and Papua New Guinea Carpenter Estates Sigri Kula PB. Highly recommend purchasing with them. They offer various shipping options, so you have some control of the shipping price. They keep you up to date on the shipment. Great products, great service. Wish I lived in WI.

This year, I called ahead to ask about wine and beverage cups, and was pleasantly surprised to speak to a real, live person who not only confirmed they had what I was looking for but also told me exactly which aisle it was in. It's refreshing to get that kind of personal touch, especially in a place that might seem like just another big-box store. Located on the south side of West Towne Mall, it's easy to find, well-stocked, and the service goes above and beyond. I'll definitely keep coming back!

Total Wine & More really does a good job providing a wide array of products for a great price. I've been here several times and never leave disappointed (except for one thing that I'll mention later). Their employees know their products and can make smart recommendations based on what you're looking for. Samples? Yes please! At one visit, an employee pointed out a good whiskey that he thought I'd like. Lo and behold, it was one of the samples, so I was able to "try before I buy". I like that. On another visit, I was lured into a back room for a tequila tasting. Not liking, I tried to decline, but was convinced to give them a try - and I was not disappointed. Also, I like how at the front of the store they have racks of "airplane bottles" - small "samplers" that you can buy to try out various products. Again - I like this idea. It was a way for me to try peanut butter whiskey without sinking too much into a larger bottle... So yeah - they're the big guy on the block, but I like the service they provide, and the deals that I get. I would LOVE it if they were able to track down a bottle of Thomas Tew rum. This is a personal goal of mine (I have my reasons), but I understand they are a small brand only found on the east coast. Someday...
