We normally go to the other Barros on McCartney in Casa Grande but decided to try this one..we will never come back here. The employees aren't friendly at all and the floors are so dirty. My go to is a small pizza with a salad and sometimes a sub. Food is always fresh and well made. Have yet to have a bad experience. Service, whether take out or eat is always good, Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I like the open concept, lots of room between tables and never feel cramped. I placed a delivery order online for pizza and a garden salad that was supposed to include tomatoes. The salad arrived without tomatoes, and there was no call or notification advising they were unavailable. If an item cannot be prepared as listed, the customer should be contacted and given the option to modify or cancel. When I called to address the issue, I was informed that I could not receive a refund over the phone and would need to come in for a cash refund. If I wanted to go into the store, I would not have placed a delivery order. Requiring an in-person visit to correct a delivery error is unreasonable. Additionally, when I asked for the manager's name, the call was disconnected. That response was unprofessional. I have not yet tried the pizza, but based on this experience, the service does not meet expectations read more

We had dinner here tonight and it's pretty good pizza! We had the Barro Special pizza. Crust: I like all thicknesses of crust if it is made with the correct flour. This is made correctly and adds to the pizzas great flavor. Sauce: nice tangy flavor. Well done! Toppings: mozzarella was fresh and stringy indicating a good quality cheese. Price of wings is now $1.42 each. Unable to split a dozen wings with two separate toppings. Pizza toppings are $1.75 each on a large pizza.

Restaurant was in decent shape but the floors were dirty and the tables had a bunch of crumbs on them. One of the electrical outlets near the door had definitely caught fire at some point. There is no signage upon entering to indicate what to do - you order at the counter and then seat yourself. Service was good - the waitstaff was polite, and the timing was pretty good. They moved through customer orders quickly at the counter, and brought our food out in about 15 mins which is pretty good since our pizzas were cooked to order. The pizza itself was ok. We got the White Pizza + mushrooms, and the Kona. The Kona was very greasy and over sauced - the toppings slid right off every piece when you try to put it on your plate. But, the flavor was good. The white pizza needs some kind of oomph. Maybe garlic, or even add some more salt to the sauce maybe. I would recommend customers to add some toppings - it's cheese with tomatoes otherwise. We were happy we added mushrooms. Both pizzas had a good amount of toppings! And the crust - if you like Chicago style crust - was terrific. Good crunch and perfectly cooked. Overall, it's a step above a Pizza Hut, but it's nothing to write home about. They emphasize the Italian family history but it didn't have any Italian flair to it. I had a long day at work, got a food voucher from my job and I called Barro's pizza to order food, I told the girl on the phone that I had a food voucher and she said, "Bring it in when you pick up your food." I brought the voucher in and found out that they don't take "Grubhub" which I should've been told that over the phone. Wasted trip, NO FOOD, because I wasn't going to pay out of pocket when I had a free gift card from my job. The manager didn't even bother to offer the food or an apology...just let me walk out and I see why the place is empty!!!!!! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE and a waste of time!!!! read more

I just left the Barro's at Promenade and Florence Blvd in Casa Grande. I can sum it up in 1 word... RUDE!!! I haven't tried my pizza yet, but when you deal with staff that is rude and cuts you off then turns their back on you when you are chatting... it doesn't matter how good the pizza may be. Easy online ordering. Love the ability to save my favorite orders. I pay ahead and clicking on the tip %, shows that total. So much easier than talking to a rushed order taker. The visual of the hot gooey pizza makes my mouth water. Then I bite into the delicious pizza. If I don't place half of it away for later, then I over eat. I often get a larger pizza so I can have leftovers for the next two days. No meat, just mushrooms, spinach, and pineapple. Makes a juicy pizza . read more

Horrible service and a very rude manager. The food was ok at best, never have had an issue before but today 10/10/24 made me realize that there is no customer service.. Even from the manager, ordered a pizza and wings, pizza came out but we had no plates so had to wait around 5 mins for plates, the wings came out over 15 minutes after I had to walk up to counter to ask were they were, finally they came out, can definitely tell they did them in a rush, there was almost no sauce on them, I asked for a side of sauce so I could give them some flavor.. (I was already in a foul mood due to lack of service) waitress said would have to charge more so thats when I asked for manager.. not because of the 91 cent cup of sauce but for the principle that if you provided bad service at least give a courtesy to fix things, manager never offered on how to make things better and was just in a rush to get back to whatever she was doing. We got up and left since we were already too upset to eat.. what a waste of $50 and ruined our Friday night. They will never have my business again.. wish I could give 0 stars read more

Ordered two pizzas Friday night at 9 PM, 4/28. Business was not very busy. Two young ladies behind the counter took 5 minutes to locate the order, and were ready to give up but insisted they keep looking and was ready to show them my confirmation email when they finally succeeded. The pizzas were all dough and really chewy and the toppings were really thin. More dough then toppings. Definitely not a good ratio. To top it all off, they were the greasiest pizzas we have ever had. Just horrible! We have a lot of pizza choices in Casa Grand, but Barros' is off our go to list. read more

Very Disappointed. Came to visit my Grandfather and was dying to try this Chicago pizza everyone talks about! This past Sunday, Very busy which was predictable for being the weekend (used to work in pizza joint). Food was phenomenal. Service was unacceptable. We would get stares to rush our order. (This was our first time). Didn't much like the wings.... Decided to give it another chance with my family the lady that gave us the stare to rush our order helped us last time but still gave us horrendous attitude. Read my ticket and saw a name "Mandy" Later on awaited 40 minutes on my pizza and immediately asked my husband to ask for a box in the front where he saw her on her phone, made eye contact and thoroughly ignored him. She continued to talk to another coworker and laughed. Unbelievable. Never will I come here again. read more

My sister and I went to this Barro's because it was close to where she had to get her chemotherapy. It was around 3 pm the restaurant was pretty empty except for a couple tables we saw occupied. We walked up to the counter and there was one woman at the register. She was on the phone and we understand that. But we didn't even get acknowledged at all. I've worked as a cashier and secretary. You should always at least look at the customer and let them know you will be with them shortly. She initially sounded like she was on a call trying to fix an order but after standing there for a while then she started taking this person's order. With still no kind of customer service. First of all going today for the first time and I'm only being open since Tuesday and this is the first weekend I got there about 430 and it wasn't even super busy. The place looked not together dirty there cleaning the tables with a rag but no cleaning solution. throwing the food or crumbs on the floor, first of all, I never been there before and I'm standing in line and waiting for a server when I had an asked somebody, they said you have to order your food and grab a number and sit at a table. That's horrible but I have to ask and there's nobody there trying to show you or help you. Then we order two pizzas they come out. With none of the toppings we asked for then it takes an hour for just two pizzas so I go get a manager and she said well. Can I look at the pizza? I showed her the pizza she was like you're right, they didn't put for did you want me to give you a credit for next time? I said no I'm not going there again so she gave me back my money but it's just. Bad situation when it comes to food. This town has a lot of problems with that so for this restaurant they need to do something to spice it up because you're too new and their other restaurant off of Pinal McCartney.
