After about a 10-15 minute wait I was called back into an exam room where I answered the questions by the nurse and then waited another 5-10 minutes to see Dr. Tisack. Once she came in, she listened to my description of the condition, examined my scalp, confirmed the condition, prescribed the medications needed, and had the prescriptions sent to my pharmacy for pickup. She asked me if I had anything else or any questions, I did not. Dr. Tisack has a pleasant and professional manner with patients and, in my somewhat limited experience, comes across as knowledgeable and confident.

I made the appointment at 3:30, was arrived at 4:15 and was seen and on my way out the door by 4:45. That being said -- I wasn't rushed. I just didn't have to wait, he came in, talked with me at length, both about what was going on and some things that proved how well he knows his stuff and how long he has been doing this (30+ years). However, he seems to be completely up on new info and medicines. I'd highly recommend!

We love the Novi office because it is a lot closer to us than Milford, but we just as gladly drive the additional half hour. Heck, we'd drive to Grand Rapids if we had to. Setting up an appointment is easy, and they do their best to get you in as soon as possible. Talk to Oxana (the Dr's wife) or Lisa (she's awesome) and you will receive stellar service, because both are super friendly and professional. Dr Chiara himself is patient, sweet and wonderful. He will do anything to get you better, and genuinely cares about your progress and well-being in the process.

I thought it was odd but went ahead with it. Today, I went back for my "two-week follow-up," hoping to address my concerns about the results. I told her I wasn't happy, but instead of offering a solution, she said, "I think it's good, you don't need any more." Her response was dismissive--especially when I explained that I wanted less movement and fewer lines. It felt like she didn't care what I wanted because, apparently, she's happy with the results, so that's all that matters, right? My face, my unhappiness, but as long as she's happy, everything's fine. Even worse, during my original appointment, Roda assured me that if I wasn't satisfied with the results after two weeks, I could come back for adjustments. Today, she completely ignored that promise. The office staff wasn't much help either. When I called to inquire about my appointment, they were clueless. Please, do your research before choosing where to go for any treatments. I have been a patient for about 2-3 years now. At my last appointment, I was sold their in-house ointment that evidently contained an allergen of mine that is in my patient record and has been since I first started going there. No one took the time to apparently check before handing it off to me. I had to return on my own time in the middle of a work day to return the medication. Not to mention, when I was called for in the waiting room for my appointment, they called me by the completely wrong name (they literally called me "Jezebel", not even close to my actual name, and when I informed them, there was no apology. The tech just entered a different version of my name in my notes "so they would know how to pronounce it next time"-- incredibly rude as someone who already deals with people mispronouncing my name often.) Now I'm dealing with an unauthorized charge to my primary payment method for the bill from my last appointment, even though I had already paid them with my HSA card as soon as I received the claim from my insurance. I called multiple times to speak to a manager after speaking with billing (which was incredibly unhelpful and did not reverse the card charge as they claimed they would). No one would route me to a manager or claimed a "case manager" would get back to me (they never did), and each person I spoke to on the phone had a very poor attitude despite this being a correction on their end. I ended up emailing them with a thorough explanation of the situation, requesting reversal of the unauthorized charge and asking to see the policy/consent form which states they are allowed to charge my card without my express authorization. I received a passive aggressive one sentence email in response saying my charge would be reversed in 24 hours (with zero comment on the unauthorized nature of the charge or evidence of any policy that allows them to do so on my behalf). No apology for the inconvenience, no confirmation or proof, just one sentence reply. Extremely disappointed by the lack of professionalism and unnecessary difficulty in issue resolution from a medical care facility. I can't say I want to return after going through this.

I called to have a full body check for cancer based on a recommendation from my GYN. I called to…read moreschedule one and was told I needed to see her physicians assistant to determine if I needed a full check. It was discovered I did have Deep Squamous Cell Carcinoma. The physicians assistant cleaned the area and gave me a topical chemotherapy cream and I saw her again a few weeks later to confirm it healed. I never saw the doctor, they never did a full body inspection and they never retested the area to confirm everything was gone. I was told to come back in three months. When I asked why, the physicians assistant said come back in six month instead. Still no doctor.
