beware! they sold us a 2022 Honda CRV 2 months ago with a clean carfax. With in the first week we started noticing things wrong. we have had it to two body shops. One won't touch it because of so much damage. The other gave us an estimate of $15,000.00 in damage. we took it back to the dealership and were told it's really unfortunate for us but we bought it as is. We have no paperwork that says that. I didn't buy my vehicle here 6 years ago as I heard the service department was horrible. Couldn't be farther from the truth in my opinion. It sucks when something goes wrong/breaks and costs a lot of money wherever you go, but at Barry's it is a little bit of a better pill to swallow as they are very informative of what is going on, what it will take to fix it and how much this all is. It felt good to hear her say "when they got it all out on the table" this was just comforting as I've watched dealerships barely look at a vehicle and want to charge me for it. The only reason this is a two star review and not one is because of Cynthia Breckon. after five week of the service techs playing guess and check with my truck i was fed up and went to get my truck back. Deb at the service counter wanted to charge me over 900 dollars. after raising hell about the entire situation she called in Cynthia. at the end of a 20 min. argument i was not charged. I 100% believe that if i would have stuk up for myself they would have bullied me into paying. when i got my truck to tow it away (Because it still was not fixed at 5 weeks) The entire dash was torn to pieces and i couldn't get the hood up. Be very aware of this dealerships service department. I had an front axle replaced well kind of. My pinion on my ram 2500 with 61k miles on it had sheared off and slammed the drive shaft in the transfer case and into the ground. Prior to picking up my truck I got a call from Justin in the parts department he told me they sent the wrong axle and had installed in on the truck and needed to order the new one. Justin then told me that they had installed a 1500 axle on my 2500 don't understand how that was possible. Well I will give the whole story its now been over 2 months and my truck still is not fixed correctly by them. Well here we go. I picked up my truck the Thursday before memorial day weekend just in time for Camping. Well after I picked it up I went right back. Told Sadie Ball, the service advisor that its making a weird noise that it has never made. She went and talked to there technician she came back and told me it was just rust from my old hubs on the new axle and that everything was fine. Well went and picked up the camper after unhooking the truck from the trailer I had noticed cables haniging down underneath well that was my brake cables and wheel sensors not attached to either side. Called them the next day told them what I found which they didn't really care and thanked me that I got it fixed. Left camp got to Wenatchee i needed to really know what the nosie was whell my heat shields where both slammed up tight to my rotors there technician must not know what he's doing. Got over to the Seattle area and the vibration and noise was just unbearable so I took it to another Ram dealership. This dealership found that there was a number of problems heres the list. 1) bent drive shaft 2) Crack in the transfer case 3)bad wear pattern on the new gears. 4)gear contact is way off. 5) metal in the differential fluid. 6) crush sleve installed wrong 7) bad bearings 8) rotors where hammered on and off hammer marks all over then. 9) wheel bearings both sides bad. Cause of that is from taking them off my axle putting them on a 1500 axle taking them off again and putting them back on again!!! I dont know where they hire there technicians but he might want to find a different career. The peoples lives this place put in danger while pulling my 40 foot travel trailer down the road on memorial day weekend is unreal and putting my family and kids in danger as well. They will not work with me to resolve this issue. Cindy there service manager is just a liar, Rebekah the CEO won't return phone calls. and Denver the owner is just as good at not doing anything as the rest of them.. Do not trust these incompetent mechanics at this dealership you will wish you just drove on past. Like the owner Denver said they did the work. Pictures speak for themselves. Look at how good theh attached the brake lines back to the axle. Put the wrong axle on the truck there invoice even says that. Also I added pictures of my truck that the owner said was worn out an used and abused !!!!. Not even a dent in it. Just goes to show what lies this dealership says to make them sound good. The first (in 2013) was a used car, and they let me keep it for a day to see how it handled. Who does that? My second car (in 2015) a new Ram, and Denver himself helped work up that paperwork. Truely an amazing place to buy a car. Staff was very friendly and even brought down 2 vehicles from Wenatchee for me too look at within 2 hours of requesting! They were not pushy in any way. They gave me the keys to each vehicle and said let us know when your done. You might pay a little extra over KBB value, but the service and the peace of mind knowing that your getting a solid rig really makes a big difference when it comes down to numbers. Received a letter in the mail from RAM saying we needed an oil change that contained a coupon. Barry's name/number and our VIN # was on the coupon. It stated the oil change and filter would be $69.95 (fine print says 'additional charges may apply, including synthetic oil). So my husband made an appointment and requested synthetic oil (which is what RAM recommends being used in our truck). Left the truck and coupon with the attendant. When we arrived to pick up the truck they told him the coupon was no good because we wanted synthetic oil and our bill was for a full price oil change (nearly $120). While discussing what the point in them sending us this coupon was, the employees were defensive and not helpful. We will not be doing business here any longer. read more

The dealership said they filed the paperwork to cancel this service plan but I verified with the credit union that they never were never refunded the $3,000 for the service plan. The service plan in question covers very little if anything outside the manufacturers 100,000 I year voltec system warranty. Do not do business with this dealership. I just purchased a 2023 Jeep Wrangler from Barry's and the process exceeded my expectations. I found the vehicle online and called to see if it was available. It was still available and we started the process over the phone. They worked quickly and efficiently with my bank. Jerry, Jim and RJ all helped me and their customer service was friendly and attentive. Hunter greeted me within seconds of me getting there to pick up my Jeep and his smile was welcoming. The entire process took only a couple days. They made sure everything was taken care of with my bank before driving the 6-hours to pick it up. I tried working with larger dealerships (Seattle Jeep and Puyallup Jeep), but they wouldn't work with me because I lived in Oregon or they wouldn't hold the Jeep during my loan process. Barry's is a smaller dealership, but they know the value of customer service. During the entire process, they made me feel that it was all about me buying the Jeep rather than about them selling the Jeep to me. I will never ever recommend Barry Chrysler to anyone. I was looking at two vehicles and decided not to get either vehicle;But Louie still ran both jeeps through 5 times. We asked him before we left the dealership, you haven't ran my credit yet , he said No. I will wait till you decide which jeep we wanted to run. I told them I didn't want either jeep , that was June 1 2017. Now this week I get letters from banks saying I wasn't approved for a loan. I'm like what auto loan. First contacted sales rep in February looking to buy a Powerwagon. Sales person took down what I was looking for and said they would get back to me. I didnt hear from them for a month. I called and emailed, wanting to get a truck while a special financing offer was available. Once again said would get back to me. I didnt hear from the sales person for 2 months. Special financing deal expired. June rolls around and I get an email saying they found a truck for me and "apologized for and miscommunication". The truck was not what I wanted nor was it actually available. Despite the poor help, I decided to order a custom Powerwagon from Barry, still, for one reason. I wouldnt have to travel far to pick up my vehicle. So I ordered a Powerwagon at the end of June. I was told 8-10 weeks for delivery. Its December and still no truck. One excuse after another. Covid (understandable so add a couple weeks, Ram is a big business and has this Covid thing figured out and is still churning out trucks), wildfires (no wildfires where truck was being built in Mexico), etc... last excuse was it shipped and was held up in Portland at the beginning of Novemeber. It doesnt take a month to travel from Portland to here even if you were traveling by horse and wagon I think what has happened is either the dealership is so small that they dont order enough volume to make an order feasible, so orders are not built until a certain number is met. Then all can be sent at once. Or, they botched the order and it was never completed properly, and never built. Bottom line is if you're ordering a custom build, don't. Order from a larger dealership that actually does volumes of sales. Barry's is only good for finding vehicles from other dealerships and bringing them in town. Edit: Response to review reply I didnt choose to wait in April. Your sales person said to wait to see what the new deals/incentives were. Then they again didnt contact me to let me know what they were. Also not that anyone asked but I am an "essential" worker. The more excuses of railroad and cargo strikes. There hasn't been a rail strike in Mexico since 1998. And the longshoremen's strike was in Montreal Canada and was over 2 months before the truck even shipped. In November I asked if it would be better if I canceled my order and ordered a 2021 model instead. I asked if there were any major differences between the model. I was told there wasnt. Well that was not true. 2021 is offered the 75th Anniversary edition. Which is a pretty big deal. Mid December the truck was finally delivered. The Dealership offered me a "deal" for my troubles. They would give me the Friend and Family Discount (roughly $5,000 off MSRP). In exchange they want me to remove this review and give them "a 10 star review". IfI didnt remove the review, I would receive no incentives. Basically trying to buy my silence. Which makes me wonder how offen they have done this. No thank you. I'll go somewhere else. So, the alignment I took my truck in for and was overcharged for didnt get done that visit because they said I needed other work done to complete the alignment, and they charged me more than what the alignment cost to "diagnose" the "problem". Well, come to find out that all my truck needed was an alignment and DID NOT need the $550 in repairs they charged me to diagnose. Awsome customer service at Barry Dodge, I ain't gonna lie I bought my 2017 Dodge Ram 2500 mega cab at Dave Smith in Idaho, that's because I didn't know any better. I do know now that Barry Dodge can meet my same expectations in buying a new vehicle and the next truck we buy will probably be from Barry Dodge. This dealership is laid back accommodating and comfortable, you never feel like you are not part of there team. Thank you Barry dodge for always being available to help. I purchased new taillights because my truck came with aftermarket tinted lenses and the officer in Waterville let me know they are unacceptable, his concern for safety is valuable so we changed them back to stock, I also purchased wiper blades and Justin in parts was helpful and installed the blades in battle field conditions at 30° and snow flurries he still ran right out to help get those changed, the other parts gal I didn't get her name but her MI# 2295 she was very helpful and made sure we were taken care of. I'm so frustrated and disappointed with the service of this business. I accompanied my little sister for a purchase of her 1st car. She had been talking to a salesman (on Saturday) who didn't even give her his business card every car place I've been to is required to. My mom co signed for her, her credit is more than good (she was qualify 11% interest) but due to pay stubs we were unable to get for them things went downhill. NOT TO MENTION that they took my sisters $5,000 without being sure they qualified for the car!!! I have never heard of that. They ALSO had promised her on Saturday that she would be getting her car on MONDAY it's Wednesday and they barely had it ready at 5:00pm today. But the fact that it's her 1st car and she was they got her hopes up we still continued to try to work with them the salesman talked us into allowing her to get the truck out on her name he mentioned she would have to leave $8,000 down(which normally means her monthly payments would be lower). Long story short we get back to they're dealership and somehow the interest goes up to 25% which is RIDICULOUS! They promised and promised and and got my little sisters hopes up and now we are leaving without her 1st car and upset at her 1st experience at a dealership. We feel lied to and played. I bought a used car June 14th 2017. I understand when you buy a used car there is no guarantee of what you are getting, however a couple of thing happened first I was never offered the extended warranty, then before I made my first payment my car broke down it took them a week to look at it, when they finally got back to me they said it would coast $1900.00 to fix less then $600.00 for parts. $172.00 for a tool that they would keep and the rest labor . When I asked it they would help out with any of it I was told they would eat the cost of the tool they would keep and said well not all vehicles are eligible for warranties so we don't offer them although yours was. I had heard serval bad things about them but we try to support our local businesses. with this kind of services this is why people go out of town. I have friends who have been treated better in Wenatchee and Spokane!! lesson learned do not go to Barry's!!!!!! read more

My experience with the service crew at Barrys was a nightmare. The took 3 weeks to fix my gauge gage because it was attached to the pump. Finally they got it fixed and now it runs like crap. It has 5 cylinder mis fire codes. I would never ever take a vehicle to this shop. I would never buy a vehicle here. I dont know what they did to the engine. When I got it back a found a broken vacuum hose and an unplugged vacuum hose no where near where they should have been working. I can not believe how well I was treated after entering Barry Automotive on a Saturday June 30th. I am a full time traveler and the air conditioner on my Dodge Ram 3500 failed. After explaining my dilemma I was given excellent recommendations. I had read some very negative review's on this site and others about Barry Automotive. I left and later decided to take a chance. I called back and made an appointment. It was Saturday the 1st of July. I was skeptical I would get in before the holiday. I was scheduled an appointment for Monday at 10 am. After several hours it was determined the air conditioning unit in the truck was in need of extensive repairs. I already had determined this was the case but allowed them to try the repair. At noon I was advised of the results. I was told parts could be ordered and it could be repaired. I decided to have the unit replaced with a new on. I was working with Deborah Hosmer who was not only very curtious but extremely professional and caring to resolve my situation. She made arrangements to order a new unit as they were not on hand and have it overnight shipped to Barry Automotive. She made an appointment for me on the following day July 3rd at 1 pm. I received a call later on the later that day from Deborah the part order was confirmed. The following day July 3rd she called again confirming the order was on the delivery truck and my appointment at 1 pm is a go. I arrived as scheduled, was greeted by Deborah and given a ride to where my trailer was. At about 3:30 pm I received a call my truck was repaired and ready. She informed me she had sent the driver to pick me up. I am very pleased with my experience with Barry Automotive. I wish to extend my appreciation to all staff but most of all to Deborah Hosmer. they sold my wife a car they ended up having to put another engine in it that engine was leaking oil and was the wrong size engine well they replaced that one and 5 days later it breaks down they have it towed back and looked at it said it was fixed we are having they same problem again this place of business does not warranty any work they do they like to give you the run around saying that its not there fault which it obvious is they have no clue on what they are doing they take advantage of women and sale them garbage cars to get more money out of them they dont want to make anything right so im looking into having a news story about what they have been doing to my wife we need to have a good running car for our disable daughter to get to her doctors appointments that are out of town read more

Denver Morford (owner) made our truck purchase hands down the easiest and quickest automobile buying experience we've ever had. I work in the auto finance world and have worked with many dealerships and I can honestly say that these people are the best I've ever had the pleasure of doing business with. They are a no pressure, honest and reliable car dealer which other dealerships should strive to follow in their footsteps. Denver even came in on a SUNDAY to do the paper work!! This store along with their other stores (Wenatchee and Moses Lake) treat their customers like they are part of the family. There is no pressure, no haggling and no stress.
