We were quoted on the phone a certain price and the man who delivered it demanded $150.00 more!! There seems to be "a disconnect" between the office and deliveryman. Today, when we were stacking the wood, we also discovered there were many scrap pieces and in general the wood did not look like it was worth $150.00 more. We will never buy from or recommend this company and by the attitude of the delivery man it would not make any difference. He didn't care at all.

It's true that you often get a call just a few hours before they want to deliver, but you can always schedule a different day. Also, like all businesses the costs are always increasing and deliveries are grouped by geographical service area, so it helps if you can be flexible when scheduling your delivery date. I would like to share about our experience this year. My husband was very ill in the spring and summer and we were not able to call and schedule our wood delivery. I called Melissa in early November praying that they would still have wood and that it would be dry. She was so kind to me and encouraged me that they did have wood and would get to me as soon as possible. The wood was delivered on my birthday and the two gentlemen separated out the small kindling pieces and put it in a storage bin so that I would have less work, since I would be stacking it myself. The wood is 95% dry and was cut into pieces that would fit into the wood stove. I believe that they brought me more than the one cord that I ordered. Please see my attached photo.
