I had the yogurt with blueberry filling, pineapple, and grapes -- it tasted exactly as it looks, clean and simple. The caffè latte used Paramount Coffee's "The Perfect" beans; the shot was dark and strong at first, but once mixed it became smooth with a slight bitterness. The chicken Caesar salad bun with onion rings had a simple, healthy flavor but the portion was a bit small. Banana foster was more like a dessert than coffee, with a strong cinnamon note -- the banana flavor was subtle due to caramelization. You can add espresso if you want. Downsides: despite the name, it's not a good place to study. A lot of people come to eat, talk, hang out, and play games, so it's not quiet. Price-wise, coffee and drinks are reasonably priced, and milk swaps or small customizations aren't heavily charged, but food portions feel small for the price. They have a restroom, are wheelchair friendly, and they mentioned they own a roaster nearby and plan to start roasting their own beans soon. Overall, a solid spot with good vibes -- just not for quiet studying.

The vibes are there and my Turkey Toastie sandwich was excellent. It was too busy for me to eat there so I took it home, but I'd love to eat there soon! Prices are a bit inflated, expect to spend around $25-$30 for a sandwich and drink. If that is within your budget, it's a nice spot. If not, maybe just grab a drink and chill there for a while.

The Study - Would love to sit there. FYI the lighting in the these pics doesn't do the place justice. It's much more low lit than it seems.

The Study - Iced latte with pistachio syrup. Pretty good, though needed a little more coffee oomph.

It's so far ahead of all delis and sandwich spots you've been. This is Long Island's gem. Five stars only is an injustice. It's one of the country's finest spots. It's what George Washington hoped for when he crossed the Delaware. It's what Qin Shi Huangdi believed would come when he unified China. It's what Moses split the Red Sea for. If aliens really existed, they'd be spotted here. If I ate one a day I'd gain 2 pounds a day and that's fine. I wouldn't care. 400 lbs? Ok. Bring it on, I say. Don't test me. As I sit on the John - Delta forcing out a few nukes - I think to myself... oh what a wonderful world. What a wonderful world I live in that I could experience the (and a) Gasm. The Anthony Kay. The Steven Matz. The Boone. The list goes on and on. The amount of underwear I've gone through from ordering the Gasm. Worth it. The M&M cookies on the counter that look at me as if I'm the newest bombshell on the island... oggling and boggling baby. The rumor is these guys churn out millions of cutlets a year. And that's just for me. - Sidebar: Weak sauce LB. Weak. Don't fall into the dad jokes just yet. Don't embarrass me in front of my people. Don't do it. - Anyways. As a poor young man(not that my circumstances have changed) I used to save up my measly funds for just one sandwich on the weekend. It would consume me all week and then I'd consume it in mere minutes. Every time me and my rapscallion crew would come we'd be certain that we'd eat half there and then eat the half later or save the rest for the week. Others had self control to stick to the plan. But I did not. And I'm proud of that. I'm proud of the man I've become. But not proud enough. For one day... one day... I'll go to Se-Port and I'll order The Linguini B. Only on that day, will I be allowed to die. To escape the brilliance of the world and head to the distraction of darkness. Until then - There is much to do. People to influence. Persuasion to persuade. Lust to lunge for. Sandwiches to feast on. The glory of Se-Port. I live a tender distance from this master factory of a deli; however, it's one of the few pieces in this world worth traveling a ridonk distance for. I will walk the Whitestone Bridge to be reacquainted. I would slosh around in the sewage of the Sound to make my way to this Mecca. I am currently working on my masters in astrophysics solely with the purpose of conjugating and coagulating a way to build the first wormhole - From my bed, straight to the parking lot of Seport. Few failed attempts, so far, but thankfully I'm not self-testing. Don't report me. Jokes on you... I'm closer than you'd think. Well. I'm sure you get my notes in the mail, so I'll wrap this up. One day, my love. One day, again, as we had it before. You and me, on the water, whisking the waves with the palms our feet. Our luscious hair sweeping the wind. Stopping time with the strength of our shared gazes. Our hands interlocked, just like our shared destinies. Yours tenderly and truthfully - LB.
