CrossFit Eastchester has all of those features of a top notch CrossFit box. The equipment is well maintained and they have all the essentials to get your WOD on. Now here is the part that makes this gym the best I've ever visited. The culture.The culture at this box is unreal. I'm in the Army and we stress command climate and unit culture and it takes years to perfect or get it right. Some units will never get it right until new leaders take over or the whole organization has a massive turn over. CrossFit northeast has a culture of respect, camaraderie, professionalism, fitness, and most importantly fun. Everyone from the instructors to your fellow athletes have bought into the culture created at this gym. I am continually impressed by this gym day in and day out. Each coach has their own approach in assisting all athletes of all levels continually improve. Furthermore, ALL the staff pay in side-by-side with the athletes. Once a class ends they chalk up and put the f*** up. It's reassuring to see they are not only human but can execute everything they teach in class. Last but not least, the programming is top tier. I was home for a good chunk of leave and needed a spot to do my programming (Thor 3 & Mountain tactical) and I decided on CrossFit Northeast Eastchester. It was clear on day one the programming at the gym blew my prescribed workout plan out of the water. I was truly humbled when I came to execute a class instead of execute my programming and I got dragged through the mud. I eventually changed over to just following CrossFit northeast's programming. All in all I recommend CrossFit northeast to anyone looking to improve their fitness. It doesn't matter if you're 18 or 80 everyone in this special community is part of a team which I've never seen before. If you're a beginner or seasoned vet looking for a change up this is the place to go and you won't regret it at all. #CommunityOverCompetition

The classes are ok…read more They really make zero effort to accommodate their clients and when I told the front desk I am going to cancel she said well this is not your home gym so we don't get your money so she didn't care. That is why they like to charge fees so aggressively. Honestly the Scarsdale one is why better and the Colorado one is truly amazing. They go above and beyond to support your fitness journey and they assume positive intent and flex if needed. These people don't flex at all and some weird things about wait list. Very disappointing. Some of the front desk people are super nice. Others are not and I don't believe they really care if you are getting healthy or not. It's just a business. Maybe you should hire people who want to make a difference in the lives of others vs. getting a pay check. Oh and they do campaigns if you give a 5 star you get a t-shirt sometimes. Warning. P

Sometimes classes can get a bit crowded which doesn't allow as much individual attention as some might want (or need), but all in all I highly recommend...especially if you've never done crossfit before. They offer a free trial class and you can also do an "on-ramp" set of classes to get the basics down before you jump in (which you'll want to, believe me). Lots of friendly people and get athletes of all ages and levels.

The CFW coaches also give you extra care and guidance especially when you're new to make sure you know what you're doing. I've always worked out at "other gyms", but CrossFit Westchester is not a gym. It's a different model, where no two days are alike, and the program has the ability to morph you to become a better person; a stronger (mentally and physically) and more confident person. I like the pace of the workouts and the instructors are always friendly. Some of them do a good job of helping you correct your form and do modifications when needed. Only complaint is that there isnt a dedicated area to put your stuff (keys, jacket) - so its always a bit of a jungle near the entrance and I dont like putting my stuff on gym equipment.

The owners are the most caring and nicest…read morepeople that you will ever find at a crossfit gym and if you think that you can find owners who watch their athletes and focus on safety as much as these guys then I challenge you to do so ( you will fail so don't waste your time) . Do you know how many people travel out of their way to come to this gym? That right there just proves that not all crossfit boxes are created equal. The workouts are challenging and kick my butt and the people that I work out with have become some of my really great friends. To top this all off how many other gyms have mobility built into their programming. Fair warning: Crossfit is a commitment (you need time and a consistent showing to succeed)...The programming is well thought out and scheduled and requires you to show up regularly. You get out what you put in. One last thing: it's frustrating to see the post from Colette H especially because she has knocked the gym without ever stepping foot inside or trying one of our classes. Without knowing any context I can guarantee the owners were not rude. Unfortunately, programs fill up and are first come first serve and I'm sure they were just suggesting that you consider joining the next program. I noticed that irrelevant of anything your post was discussing you name dropped your 17 marathons and 2 ironmans (thanks for letting us know!) and best of luck with those!
