Here in Miami for my birthday and stumbled upon this spot right next to our hotel and it did not disappoint. The décor is chic and elevated with a DJ setting the vibe just right. The music was not overpowering and it was the perfect backdrop to enjoy conversation and cocktails. We ordered the wagyu tacos, truffle fries, and shrimp roll and every dish was flavorful and perfectly done. For drinks we had the lychee martini and the Mexican mule and both were excellent. Since we went during happy hour the prices were unbeatable. This place definitely turns into more of a party as the night goes on so if you are looking for a chill vibe go earlier. Our server Jon, forgive me if I got the name wrong, was the highlight. He was funny, attentive, and genuinely kind. He made the whole experience memorable and gave us a reason to come back. In fact we have already decided we will be here for brunch before leaving Miami. Highly recommend for great food, good energy, and service that makes you feel like a regular.

Amazing foods, and drinks. I would recommend the passion & love drink if you're into sweet alcoholic drinks. The Asian tacos are so delicious (but the portion is super tiny), the sushi rolls are a safe delicious choice. For the guys, make sure you wear long pants or they will not let you in. Overall, fun place to go for a bar/restaurant vibe.

Very good happy hour menu I really enjoy the guacamole with steak , the tacos were really good & so was the pepperoni flatbread. My drinks were ok nothing to really write home about but cute restaurant with a nice vibe.

Service was slow, bar was closed, it's at a breezy spot so it was not too bad. The lychee martini could have had a lychee in it but it was missed. They have a dj and it's a cool place to hangout with friends before starting the night.

The worst service I've experienced in a very long time. The bottomless brunch was seriously just bottom- less. No one came around to refill our drinks, the waitress got almost all of our orders wrong (including the bride) and accused us of lying when we said our orders were wrong. They gave the bride 3 different wrong orders. Then charged us for all of the orders they brought her since she picked at the potatoes on her order. Would strongly recommend to steer clear of this place... unless you're a man because the bachelor party table clearly had great service while our bachelorette table was ignored the entire time we were there.

I'm surprised this place doesn't have more stars or reviews Recently stopped by and it was such an experience to be able to sit with friends and enjoy few drinks. Definitely love the decor the ambience the staff is extremely kind and very attentive.

This spot is a cute spot to hang out with friends. You can enjoy live or recorded DJ music, smoke hookah, and/or enjoy a nice bite outside in the sun. The music can be really loud so if you are tryna have a conversation that may be tough. My one friend got the Brooklyn breakfast and thought it was good. My other friend got the truffle rigatoni a la vodka and she loved it. I got the croquet monsieur and it was okay (it's a lot of bread and little meat). Overall it was a good dining experience (like a 7/10).

Service varies, can go from attentive to asking for waters. Hookah and cocktails are great, HH hours are generous, music boppin, so definitely a fun spot!

Food was decent, drinks were good. The spicy cucumber margarita is so refreshing but with a kick! The atmosphere is great with a DJ both inside and outside. Inside can get crowded at night and is a good time with Latin vibes.

Came for a late brunch and it was killer! Had the salmon avocado omelet and it was sensational. The music and ambiance is top-notch. Wait staff is on point and takes very well care of the patrons. The drinks are artistry and perfectly blended. Restaurant is open-air concept. They also offer hookuh if you are so inclined.

We went here for brunch and I'd say overall the experience was pretty good! The Benedict was tasty and the drinks were awesome especially the Bloody Mary. The servants were nice and attentive, however I just felt like the outdoor seating for brunch specifically was a tad odd. We had a large group but the outdoor seating weren't really tables at all so eating our food was a bit of a challenge forcing us to fully bend over to eat over our plates.

I've been visiting a lot recently, and even joined their wine club which offers two curated wines a month. Locally owned and operated, I feel really good supporting a place that the owners put so much effort into to offer such a gem of a spot for locals. I've tried a lot of wines here, and I'm always amazed at finding something new to me that I enjoy. If you haven't been, it's the perfect place for a date, a girls night, or a day for yourself. They also have good snacks and charcuterie for you to munch on while you drink vino. Don't know much about wine? No problem. Their team will point you in the right direction and they have something for everyone. This is an approachable wine bar- they want you to enjoy the wine as much as they do and I love that about Magie. This spot has a nice indoor space and a beautiful outdoor area. They also have a sister location in the Grove.

There is a parking lot right on the side of the building, but if that lot is full, there is also street parking, and parking across the street in a lot behind the Citadel. The service here was great! All of the staff were very nice and welcoming. The set up of the lounge is also very cozy. There is plenty of space for people to sit whether you're on a date or with a small group, but seating is first come first serve, so if you're coming with a group it's better to get there earlier in the evening so you have a space comfortable enough for the size of your group. There is also indoor and outdoor seating which is nice. There are many wines to choose from and they also have a decent menu with light bites. We opted for the Dino nuggets and caviar which were a hit, the fried olives and some meats and cheeses with some cornishons, fig jam and a sliced baguette. Overall this place has a great vibe to it and I heard they host events every so often. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a nice space to chill with some friends and enjoy a nice spot in Miami.

The first location in the River is better imo because the location is bigger, there is plenty more seating than the Grove location. Although, I still enjoyed my time at this location as well. Sooo how it works is that you go inside and pick a bottle of wine from the fridges. You can also order by the glass if you aren't a big drinker or if you want to try different wines. The bottles are moderately priced depending on your selection. We chose an orange wine and it was nice, very refreshing, you can really get that citrus essence with every sip. Another thing that they have is that you can pick different cheeses and meats and they will build you a charcuterie board. I love this because it is all based on your selection, nothing will go to waste. They also have food you can order. A lot of people love the nuggets with caviar. I think they are decent imo but I'm not like in love with them. Parking can be a bit annoying... If there isn't street parking, you can also park in the garage. The service was good, the staff was friendly. The only thing that was a hassle was getting a table. We had to wait a bit in order for a table to become available. Overall, this spot is a very cozy place to hang and mingle with friends.

As others have stated, Magie is good in concept and we'll likely return here, but with just a bit…read moremore effort on their part this wine bar could be so much better IMO. Unlike some other reviewers that scoffed at the prices of the wine, that didn't bother me so much. We had a bottle here that cost $55 and it retails for about $28; I was OK with that, as all restaurants and wine bars have a markup above retail, and even when you go to spots like Happy Wine or El Carajo and pick out a bottle to drink while in their shop, they charge a corkage fee for that. What I did have a problem with is that, after the "service charge" and other fees were added on, our $55 bottle rang up to more than $73 in total, which was ludicrous. When we first arrived at Magie we were met by a young guy who pointed out the bottles and where the various charcuterie items are located in the coolers, and we were then pretty much left on our own. We really just wanted a glass of wine each, but unlike places like Vinoteca, here at Magie they had a very limited selection of wines by the glass, and the ones available all seemed to come in single-serve cans. We picked out a bottle to share, went to the register, paid and the guy opened it and handed us 2 glasses. When I returned to get napkins, the guy just motioned to where the napkins were so I could grab my own (after moving a delivery cart out of the way by myself so I could reach them). Again, though this place includes an automatic "service charge", we received zero actual "service" unless one considers the 45 seconds it takes to uncork our bottle and charge us for the purchase. We had a seat, had a glass of wine each and then re-corked our bottle of wine and took it with us. Overall I think Magie is a great concept with lots of potential. The inside seating area is interestingly decorated and outfitted with lots of eclectic furniture and items on the walls, and the relatively large patio seating out front with tables for 2 to 8 people is shielded from the adjacent street/traffic and shaded by lots of trees and greenery. The ambiance overall is really very nice. The service, however, was non-existent, especially considering the automatic charge for that, and while prices of at least some wines aren't terribly out of line, the fact that all the service charges, taxes and fees added $20 to the cost of our bottle was a bit of a shocker. Magie should consider adding more wines by the glass IMO. Not just subpar quality single-serve cans, but decent wines, poured from a proper bottle with a topper that preserves the wine between pours like most every quality wine bar commonly offers. Lastly, while I don't think anyone expects linen napkins and white glove service, the paper plates and plastic cutlery customers are given to eat with are a bit off vs. what this place appears to be trying to be and the prices charged. The "F*ck Brunch" positioning statement on the back of the staffs' shirts was an interesting touch.
