I went here for brunch and was not impressed at all. The food on the buffet looked like it had been setting out for a while, though it appeared to be replenished regularly. There were a lot of meats and cheeses to pick from and the dessert bar was somewhat appetizing, though it looks like they just unloaded the desserts from Costco, other than that, the food missed the mark. There's no way that it's worth $35 with drinks on top of that. The pasta was dry, the pizza looked like it was left out over night. Everyone I ate with said everything was "fine". It's nothing special. The atmosphere was light and airy and seems like a fun place to get some drinks with friends, but I'd skip brunch. Perhaps dinner service is better. They have a full spread that includes brunch classics like eggs and bacon, but also Italian favorites like pizza, pasta and chicken parmigiana! Came here with a few friends to try their brunch buffet and had a great time! At $29 for breakfast foods, charcuterie including burrata, salads, pizza, pasta, meats, and desserts, it's a great deal especially considering how expensive Miami can be! There is also an all you can drink addition of $29 for bottomless aperol spritzes or $25 for bottomless prosecco/mimoas. I opted for just the brunch since I was driving home after, but for $25-29 it's also a great deal. The buffet area, like the restaurant, is not huge but it makes good use of the space with everything arranged very tightly in a line. There is basic breakfast food like eggs and bacon at one end (which I ignored), arancini and meatballs right next to it, before it curves into an assortment of breads including fluffy focaccia and the charcuterie area with a nice spread of meats, a few cheese, burrata balls, and a surprisingly nice selection of fresh fruit. The meat section was not huge but included a bit of everything, the day we went it was a nice sauteed lemony chicken and little planks of salmon, and at the carving station long italian sausages and juicy grilled flap steak. The charcuterie selection could have had a bit more of a cheese selection but it didn't look like most of the diners were going at the cheese that much, and anyway, they nicest part was the bowl of burrata and the assortment of awesome condiments like the red pepper pesto, basil pesto, and truffle honey! The grilled meats were especially good with beautifully grilled, rare, juicy and tender flap steak that was great with the big flake maldon salt and the gremolata on the side; the italian sausage was also meaty, juicy and nicely seasoned. The dessert section was big but probably the less impressive of the spreads - the tiramisu mouse was fluffy and had a nice coffee taste but the dulce de leche mousse was a bit heavy on the salt flavor and not that strong on the caramel flavor, and the cannolis were nice but the shells a little soft and the filling not quite as smooth probably from having been sitting out for a bit. Overall, while each individual dish may not be quite as fancy or satisfying as ordering a la carte, that's to be expected of any buffet; the options here hit all the spots with something for everyone, my favorites being the charcuterie with the accompaniments, and the super tender flavorful grilled flap steak. While I didn't opt for the bottomless drinks this time, I definitely plan on it when I come back! read more

After a fun run on the beach my friends and I made a reservation for Italica. We weren't dressed to the tees as some brunches in Miami expect guests to dress so we thought Italica would welcome us. And they did, thank goodness. Their brunch gives two options of bottomless. First option for $25 you get a choice of bottomless mimosas or Prosecco. The other choice is $29 for bottomless of Prosecco/Mimosa/Aperol. They had a decent array of food choices for a very affordable price. A couple pasta choices, stewed beef, meatballs, an array of breakfast foods, cold cuts, and an ample selection of salads and deserts choices as well. You know the drill, when I'm hungry and not creative.. I've had Italica on my bookmarks for awhile and had the chance to try them the other night via UberEats. After a full day of errands and such , I was pretty hungry so I ordered a full 3 course meal. My appetizer was their creative take on burrata salad cheese with with fennel (instead of the classic tomatoes), black olives powder and honey. I didn't taste too much of the honey but it was still satisfying. The lasagna that was my main course could have been the only course, as it took up almost the entire to go box. The noodles were a little past al dente, but still had a good texture. The blend of melted parmesan and the rich blend of beef bolognese and hearty marinara sauce made it among one of my favorites. Although a full size pie (yeah leftovers & sharing with a neighbor), their dessert pizza with Nutella, creamy and cool ricotta, berries and a sprinkle of cocoa powder made a sweet closing that paired well with a Moscato bottle I had home. read more

First off...outstanding service by waitstaff and manager on site who kindly came to our table to ask us if the music was to loud and when does that ever happen, here evidently. That's enough to give them a nice review. I met with friends here for HH which I have to be honest, needs some work. We tried 4 out of the 5 food items and really only one stood out enough to order again, the Arancini. We wanted to try the pies since after all pizza is one of their specialties and were not disappointed at all. We tried the Tartufata and the Mortadella E Carciofi and both equally delish for different reasons. You can't go wrong with mushrooms and black truffle on the Tartufata and the mortadella with pistachio and pesto on the Mortadella pie. Both made in an electronic brick like oven, I couldn't tell the difference between a real brick oven or this one here. The crust was just as good but the dough was perfectly cooked and the toppings were just incredibly delightful. My fiends went bananas over the cheesecake so much they ordered two so I guess it's a must try. The spritz are only $5 all day on Wednesday and they have at least 6 diferente options although my and my friend's gave was the IL Floreale made with Sake. As far as waitstaff, they were all most personable but Agustin was the best, most delightful waiter at all times. I'd say go for the $5 Spritz on Wednesday but opt for the regular menu unless they change the HH menu a little bit. The aperols were pretty good lacking a little in aperol and heavy on the ice, but overall not a bad drink. Since I heard Italica was going to open Ive been so excited to check it out! I am obsessed with italian food and loved the restaurant's concept. I got there staurday night around 8pm with no reservation and was seated right away. The decor is beautiful, modern and the bar is full of Aperol! There was a DJ playing so ambiance was also great.
