Food and Staff both 10/10 I had come for a day trip from Orlando and stumbled upon here, for just a drink only to find myself talking to the staff and some of the others for over an hour as we talked about life stories and business while enjoying the cool atmosphere. Everything was well priced and tasted amazing especially considering it was Miami.

Definitely wanted to like Eight Bar since Maple & Ash (parent owner) is one of my my favorite restaurants in Miami. But the issue is the quality is not consistent throughout the menu. The burger is pretty good and is worth the cost. But the lobster dumplings see not even close. They're small, barely have any lobster, yet cost $28. The beignets are average at best and are $18. The drinks are great, all in all it's hard to recommend.

Lovely ambiance and service at Eight Bar. Music was playing at the perfect volume where you could still have great conversations. Drinks were good too. I had the lemon drop with tequila instead of vodka and it was great, not too sweet and a sugar rim. The burgers and fries are delicious but that's about it. I was not a fan of the lobster dumplings, not good and not worth the price. Waited a while for them and they were barely warm. The beignets for dessert were also just ok.

On the first floor of maple and ash. Garage parking nearby. Not a huge place but a decent size with a bar area and tables. It was nice inside and staff was friendly. We ordered chicken nuggets, Salmon Handroll, Waygu sushi roll, burger with fries, short rib steak, beignets, pina colada dessert and creme Brulee. Everything we ate was good. No complaints from anyone in our group. Happy hour menu items are small portions. Keep that in mind. Lots of sharing like we did. Place is open Thursday to Sunday I believe. Nice spot to hit up and try out.

Loved the vibe at Eight Bar. Service was good and timely. I loved my spicy tequila drink, which was called Good Trouble. The herbs and greens salad was also delicious and I loved the combination of ingredients. French fries were top notch and you can choose from a few dipping sauces or get them all. The only reason why I did not give 5 stars is because we all ordered different sushi and all the sushi had a "fishy" taste if that makes sense because I know it's fish after all, but like a not so fresh taste. It wasn't horrible. I ate most of mine, but it wasn't the quality I was expecting. That being said I really did like the place and will be back to order different things.

We found this place on yelp of course. While the reviews seemed promising, I have to be honest it was just ok. We sat for 10 minutes before our waiter finally came by. He definitely didn't seem like he wanted to work. Our drinks took forever to get to us. I ordered from the happy hour menu the crab king roll and nuggets. My husband ordered the burger and fries. I know Miami is pricy but to charge $8 for 1 roll is crazy. I got 4 nuggets so I basically paid $2 a nugget lol. Lesson learned. The nuggets were good the roll def lacked. My husband did enjoy the burger and the fries were actually really good. What's upsetting is that we were obligated to tip 20% when service didn't deserve that. My husband and I always tip more than 20%. To tip a server who took over 10 mins to get to us, another 10 for drinks and ZERO personality seems like a ripoff. It's no wonder he didn't care to attend to us properly cause regardless he's still getting tipped. I worked as a server and bartender for many years and worked for my tips. Personally I'd never go again. I definitely think Miami overall is overrated and service has gone down tremendously.

Wonderful grand opening event! My sister won a gift card too! And the cherry was the kitchen tour that felt right out of a culinary show! I can't wait to come back to try more of their main plates. Thank you chefs! Wishing you all the success! See you soon! :)

We came to Eight Bar Miami for their preview night and were absolutely delighted! The vibe is immaculate! A blend of chic, lively, and effortlessly cool. We had the burgers and fries, and they were to die for... crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. My boyfriend ordered the Old Fashioned and loved their twist on it. His description... smoked, slightly sweet, and perfectly balanced. && let me tell you, boy is he picky with his old fashions, but this was Adam approved. The stamped ice detail was such a nice touch too. Adds that extra piece of elegance. The staff was incredibly attentive and welcoming, and you can tell they're passionate about creating a great experience. Can't wait to come back once they officially open, this place is definitely going to be a Miami favorite!

I went to Eight Bar Miami for their opening event and it was incredible! The vibe, the music, everything was on point. You could feel the good energy from the moment you walked in. The staff was super friendly, and Maddy was absolutely amazing -- so welcoming, attentive, and really made the night feel special. Definitely one of those spots you know is going to become a Miami favorite. Can't wait to go back!

My wife and I just had the most amazing experience in today's date night. Eight Bar has a staff that went above and beyond for us to feel like royalty! Specially BAM & SOL MORELLI Great work by the kitchen staff cooking an amazing dinner & dessert for us, the food was 10 out of 10 in everything we had. If you want great food, great environment, great service, you must come visit EIGHT BAR MIAMI!!!

The service is first-class, the environment is fantastic, and the food is absolutely delicious. I ordered the double cheeseburger definitely one of the best burgers in Miami! The place is very cozy, the prices are reasonable, and I really like this restaurant. I'll definitely come back next time.

Wonderful and attentive service. Beautiful location. We were a party of six and we all enjoyed it. The standout was the burger! Must have. We also true the chicken nuggets and hand rolls which were ok. The dessert we tried were the chocolate mousse and the beignets were both delicious.

Found out that Maple and Ash was going to open a hip new bar on the ground floor called eight bar and I was able to get a ticket for their second opening pop-up night. Upon arriving we were greeted so warmly. For this particular pop-up, they offered eight dollar cocktails, I didn't try any, but they look delicious and people seem to be really enjoying them. And there were several passed bites: burgers and fries and four different types of sushi (salmon roll, crispy, rice, tempura, and king crab just to name a few) which will feature in their menu, everything was delicious. We had an extra treat where Chef Austin came out and started a raffle and I ended up winning a $50 gift certificate for the bar, to use, when they open on October 24. He was so kind to also let us tour his kitchen, new state of the art culinary installations and get some more sample bites. The staff was beyond friendly and so quick kept passing out bites. What a night. Can't wait to come once they open.

I think they fit Miami well, and are slight twists in classic drink options. Our bartender was awesome. She was super knowledgeable and helpful in making recommendations as we decided what to order, and you can tell she really put effort into making sure the drinks were good. The drinks were really good! My only complaint is the price. Of course handcrafted cocktails are expensive, especially in Miami, but wow. The drinks were really small, and had so much ice that they ended up being not very many sips at all. They were definitely good, but the very small size for almost $20 a drink was kind of outrageous.

The bar was lit, poppin' and vibrant. We were waiting by the end of the counter where they checked out other patrons near the sitting area. We were overlooked many times... I locked eyes with one of the bartender and she completely looked away from me.. several times :( took about 15 minutes and we reached our arms out and flagged bartender Reilly. Her greeting and attention was genuine so I was happy to get her. Unfortunately, she got busy and we got the initial lady that ignored us. She was not kind, not attentive and didn't really want to help us - she was very fake. With that being said, we had to remind her of our drinks after 20 minutes of placing the order, in which she responded with an attitude "it's being made. We're busy" -_- -_- :( the attitude was not needed. We watched others that came in before us being served. :( I was completely annoyed and upset. She didn't even bring the drinks to us like the other bartenders were doing, she made us get it. Poor service from this one bartender while the others were happy and servicing their patrons. After our first drinks, I noticed she spoke to her colleague and he came over and asked if we wanted to close out.. . Wtf kicking us out? We said no and he opened a tab. When she noticed we were ordering more, she was a bit more attentive. So wrong. Luckily, the drinks were delicious. Perfect. We did end up coming back to the Lasseter and got a gentleman bartender that was so kind and attentive and made our drinks even better! The attention to detail and love he made in my drinks, so that is why I decided to make make this a 3 stars rather than two. He saved this place. The toilet sitting area is very warm, not very air conditioned properly so expect to be a little warm especially after a couple of sips. It's also the walkway to an actual big restrooms for the whole building. The drinks are VERY pricy but the setting is perfect and makes up for it. Unfortunately, the service was not up to par. Disney priced drinks without the Disney customer service. Do I want to come back? Yes. Am I going to be picky with the vibes coming from the bartender and chose who to go to? Also yes. Hopefully, I can increase the rating.

The biggest thing for me was the overall energy and engagement from the staff. I'm naturally a pretty social and engaged person, especially when I'm sitting at a bar, and I made an effort to interact with the bartenders. I just didn't really feel that same engagement coming back. Nobody was necessarily rude or disrespectful--it just felt disconnected, and the energy was a little strange to me. I also didn't realize until I tried to pay that the bar doesn't accept cash. Maybe that was posted somewhere and I missed it, and once they told me, it wasn't a big deal. But little things like that, combined with the overall interaction, affected the experience. Another thing I didn't realize until receiving my check was that gratuity was already included. I wasn't verbally told about it, and I personally didn't see it disclosed anywhere beforehand. From my understanding, an automatic gratuity or service charge is required to be disclosed to the guest before the purchase, not something they should only discover when they receive the check. Maybe there was a notice somewhere that I missed, so I'm not saying there wasn't one, but I definitely wasn't aware of it. I think that's an important thing for guests to know upfront, especially because someone could easily add another tip without realizing gratuity was already included. Ironically, the one person I genuinely connected with and had a good conversation with was another guest at the bar, not a member of the staff. That interaction actually helped make my time there more enjoyable. For me, hospitality is about more than serving a drink. Especially when someone is clearly open, friendly, and trying to engage, that's an easy opportunity to create a connection and turn a first-time guest into someone who wants to come back. I felt like I gave plenty of opportunities for that interaction, but it just never really happened. I still had a good time because I can have a good time pretty much anywhere, and nothing happened that would make me say Lost Boys is a bad bar. It just didn't feel like the staff cared much about enhancing the experience beyond serving the drinks. So four stars because I respect what the place is and can see why it works as a neighborhood bar. It just didn't give me a reason to come back, and personally, I don't think I would.

Anywayssss, when I caught the winds that there was a new sound bar in downtown, I NEEDED to be there. The concept of the sound bar is some type of Asian thing, I don't really know. But where in Asia there might be a few monks sitting around in silence listening to gongs or whatever, Miami goes BIG! Finding parking in downtown Miami on a Saturday is virtually impossible unless you bribe a valet servant with cash. So that's what I did. My ladyfriend and I arrived early to the sound bar, and there was already a hearty swarm of brodents and thots lined up to get in. Some crack head outside was shouting about IPA's. I told the door servant that I knew the DJ or something like that, and he let us right in. Once inside, the bar has that edgy big city, small hallway type of vibe. You could barely stand around in there, let alone get to the bar to order a drink. The mix of flapping gums and mixologists concocting cocktails made for a cacophonous distraction from the actual "music" we were there to "listen" to. My ladyfriend and I ducked out across the street to Black Market Miami Bar where the game was on and you could actually order a drink that didn't cost $50+. After a few libations, we headed back to Miami Sound Machine Bar (they need to put 'Miami' in every bar's name down here in case you forget where you are). There was a weird looking guy playing depressing vinyls with singing in different languages. I was more in the mood for something upbeat and groovy like salsa or merengue that I could dance to with my girls. Although I did hear the 12" Andrew Weatherall remix of Happy Mondays "Hallelujah" at some point, a staple at the Haçienda nightclub in Manchester - an institution that shook the music world and changed club culture forever. The head servant at the bar looked like Nirvana (yes, one man looking like a whole band). He was jaded and rude. I don't blame him! As the night wore on, the crowd got larger and more deplorable, and the room got smaller and smaller. I got stuck in an awkward conversation waiting to use the bathroom. I don't think sound bars are for me. Pros: The bar across the street had really fair drink prices, and the servants are polite and efficient. Cons: the ratchet yuppies that inhabit Miami's nightlife, always on the prowl to ruin a subculture with their tackiness.
