Very first ride on this Bart train. To save time and energy from traffic this ride was the best ever. Spent time with high school friends. Priceless Class of 1971!! Trains were kept clean and air conditioned.

Nice little Station except for the homeless that do hang outside at times. Platforms are usually pretty clean

First off, this whole experiment of expanding BART without using legacy trains and direct service is just not good. People want one seat service and this section will suffer. However, the Antioch Station is pretty nice. Parking is ample and partially shaded, although this may be tight on a weekday commute. Access from Highway 4 is a bit weird having to backtrack a little on a small road. The platform is in the median of the highway, so you have to travel over the cars to access the boarding area. Unfortunately, this area is rather noisy with the highway traffic. The main entrance is identical to all other stations with the same fare machines and turnstiles. The new BART cars are really nice inside, but they burn diesel fuel! BART has always been electric, and it's tough to hear that Diesel engine polluting the air even with all the clean wind turbines just across the water. Plus the transfer to "real BART" was clunky on my visit and just not BARTable. I get that we like to do things on the cheap, but the Antioch extension is just not right. It's awesome that the delta has access to BART, but this is just not right. Hopefully they can eventually just run ACE or Amtrak down the corridor and connect to the mainline at Martinez to the new Transbay Tube and forget this nonsense.

Bart is fun. I recommend if u want to see great views and have a fun time.

Updated Bart Car that travels back and forth from the Pittsburg/Bay Point Station to the Antioch stations.

Clean and new. They've improved on letting you know when the next SFO bound train comes. Glad it finally came to the east bay!

You need to take another small nicer train to get to this. Not a big station... probably why it is cleaner.

In an effort to correct the poorly installed device, he devoted time to contact LowCostInterlock to be recorded as he reported the issues of the device. This call took hours and achieved nothing other than to the issue being recorded. When a rescheduled time was set to reinstall to complete the job and have a working device, he was unable to meet the appointment and decided to prioritize other customers. He agreed that this "swap" or reinstall was necessary. Yet, he couldn't meet the reasonable time to complete the job. He wanted to push the work to when it fit his schedule. I had to cancel the appointment and go with another vendor. When I reached out to get a refund, he sent me a text saying that he completed his part and no refund will be processed. When LowCost Interlock called him, he hung up on them. This business lacks professionalism and integrity. While he explained the process during the installation making sure that he was compliant and doing what he is supposed to be doing, in the end, the job was poorly done--and I don't even have a working device. He speaks as if he has the intention of completing the work properly, yet in the end, his lack of time management will leave the customer frustrated and unsatisfied because he's running the business poorly. I cannot trust this person's work. Nor should you. I have to resort to reporting a complaint regarding this business via LowCostInterlock and they will file to the state; and I have filed a separate report to the DOJ - Attorney General, Consumer Complaint Department.

He asked me to bring it to his shop so he can see if it is the device or the battery. If it is the battery he will charge me his time. The worst public transit I've ever rode. Constant delays and no compensation. Get better equipment…read moreor just go outta business. This is ridiculous.

I know, I know. Giving five stars to a BART line?…read more Yes, BART is overpriced; yes, its police officers sometimes kill passengers for no reason; yes, its cloth seats are scary-if-comfortable. But the Pittsburg/Bay Point line? Hell yeah. My favorite thing about this line is that it has eight-to-ten-car trains all day. Every day. All the time. OK, I might be exaggerating, but when it's the middle of the day and you're tired of being crammed into a ridiculous three-car train for your ride through the Transbay Tube, it's downright blissful to be able to go to the very front or back of the train and actually find a seat. In fact, when the Pittsburg/Bay Point train is the next one coming, I often walk all the way to the end of the platform just to get in the coveted first car. There are good reasons for my delight. First, no bikes. Yea! And if someone tries to bring a bike on this car, the operator (inaccurate to call them drivers, as they don't actually drive the trains) will yell at him and/or make snarky announcements over the PA about how bikes aren't allowed in the first car. Oh, and the first car is also usually free of hooligans and children trying to raise money for their basketball teams, although some of these children are natural showmen (and -women) and are sometimes quite entertaining. Did I mention that there are empty seats? A word of advice. If you're not riding this train to the end of the line, DO NOT FALL ASLEEP on it. I've done that before. It takes a really long time to get from Pittsburg/Bay Point Station back to MacArthur Station. Believe me, I know.

The fact that there is a parking garage was a huge plus for me. The fee to park here is $3/day within the hours of 4am-3pm. Any time outside of those hours is free. Payment can be done through the BART app, where you will need to link your Clipper Card number and license plate number. This is to ensure that you actually entered BART and aren't abusing the parking spaces reserved for BART riders. When paying for your spot, you input the number you parked in (located on the ground of your parking space), add your payment info, and you're good to go! It should be a pretty smooth and speedy process. I parked on the far end of the parking garage, so walking to and from the BART entrance was a bit far, but it was definitely doable. Like all BART stations, this location is equipped with kiosks to add value to your Clipper Card. There are escalators that take you to the upper level which is where you enter the train car. The train car had a frequency of 15 minutes during the time we were there, so it came pretty fast. Once we got in we were on our way!
