My go to station when flying into the area (OAK) and visiting family. As of 2026, it's the end of the line going into the East Bay. I use the station quite often because I try to save my family time and inconvenience from driving me to or picking me up from Oakland airport. Also handy to use if I want to go to the city (San Francisco) from this area as well. Luckily, I haven't had to use it to do the daily work commute, which I heard is pretty hectic and brutal in terms of crowds. But my personal experiences this is always been pretty easy to figure out. This is one of more preferred bart locations. Never had an issue here. I drive over grill Sacramento to catch it to the city occasionally because I just can't phantom driving my own car into the city anymore. Like the clipper card feature too. Dropped off my truck for some maintenance and was headed back to Hayward. Use bart - sounds easy... or so you might think. In order to use public transportation one really needs a phD. The free shuttle driver from the dealership was so sweet and she was coaching me on the trip there. "There are two Dublin stops - on your way back your gonna want to go all the way to the last stop." I think she could tell that I was easily confused. "Then on your way back your going to want to walk under the freeway back the way you came." On any given day I'm often lost, dazed, confused. Most of the time it happens in a supermarket when given too many options to choose from. Well, thats half the battle - other problems in the supermarket come from forgetting why I'm there in the first place and then finding things in general. So I get on the train and next thing I know I'm at Bayfair. Thats not good - I was headed to downtown Hayward. I must have missed the transfer station. I get off that train going to who knows where as fast as possible. Then I'm on the platform and jump in the next train going the opposite direction. With these trains you have to make quick decisions. No time to dilly dally or debate. I wasn't exactly sure where this thing was headed but anything was better than Bayfair. At this point I was going to settle for either Castro Valley or Downtown Hayward and just get off as fast as possible. Had enough of this trains. This is the first time I've done this particular route and its not like a familiar route - normally I do just a few stops that doesn't require phD level transfers. Next thing I know I'm in downtown Hayward. I jump off pleased I wasn't in Fremont or something. Then I tried to burn into memory all those helpful advice from the shuttle driver lady. "Dart to Bart". The Bart train system is a great way to get around the Bay Area for work and play. I don't ride it as much because I don't have a commute anymore. I do still use it to visit the City or go to venues at the Oakland Coliseum. The Bart train cars have been upgraded since I last rode the Bart. They did away with cloth seats and now have plastic seat that can be power washed! Yay! Like any metropolitan train system, be alert of your surroundings for safety purposes. read more

So this station is pretty dirty. I had to use the restroom here and there is a reason the put a sign on the door advising a maximum 10 minute use. It was incredibly disgusting and I would advise waiting if you can. That being said, the staff at this station has always been helpful and the walk to the parking area isn't too bad. Also, I often see security or PD checking the area so it feels pretty safe overall. read more

My go to departure is the Dublin/Pleasanton BART. I have slowly started using BART since the pandemic. The trains have been upgraded, as well as the prices, this past February I remember a round trip to the Montgomery station was $14.00, now it's $14.40(did I miss seeing the increase last time)? Not as crowded on the weekends and the trains have been on time. A great way to get to the City. The Montgomery station has multiple exists, I opt to exist on Market which leads me out to Market Street which leads me towards my destination. The new seats aren't as comfortable as the old ones, and all the seats are two seats with ample room for bikes. A new feature on the top of the doors between the trains is a light board with the next stops indicated, and the automated voice indicating the next stops, as well. Riders will need to have a clipper card to add money to as a form of payment to enter and exit the stations, you can also add your clipper card to your wallet on your phone. read more

The BART station we used appeared to be clean and easy to navigate. The train was clean and the seats did not have cloth, which made them feel safer to use (more sanitary). It was a smooth ride into the city and we never felt in danger. The other passengers were considerate and gave space as recommended because of Covid. The Dublin/Pleasanton stop has become my primary BART station for commuting. It is definitely on the cleaner and safer side relatively speaking but can get quite crowded in the mornings. It's at the end of the line so it's easier to get a seat but you might have to wait for the next train depending on lines. Fee parking on weekday mornings fill up fast! I've learned the hard way you need to get there by 7:30 am at the absolute latest if you want to get a spot. Happy commuting! read more

I always use this BART station to go to San Francisco for day trips. It is a reliable method of transportation, especially coming from the Central Valley area. I usually spend about $13 round trip, which is affordable. For the Clipper Card, I uploaded the information to my phone's wallet app. It allows me to scan my phone instead of using the physical card to get through. It's so convenient. The only downfall is that sometimes the bathrooms are a little gross. It would be nice if the staff cleans it more often throughout the day. Overall, I am thankful that we have BART as an option. It is an excellent way to avoid driving on the highway to get to the inner parts of the bay area. read more

Ok so, ive been riding bart on and off here and there for a while; starting in my younger days by using it to go with my dad to Macworld back in the 90s, to then seeing my ex when she moved, and using it to go to the city from Hayward when I used to go to school there and ride into the city. And this isn't pointed out at just dublin pleasanton but perhaps the whole system of transit lines itself, stops in frisco, and the types of passengers that have started to come on board. Yes, Covid - 19 sucked and there was limitations on the operating hours and masked mandates and that have made people crazy. I nowadays go on bart to bike in the city, and the passengers, like even from the second Dublin station at the Stoneridge Mall, well you got some hood ass mofos now, like WTF and of course during the progression passing through the other stops its understandable. I've noticed drunks and little brat ghetoo kids that be loud and playing around and talking to passengers that don't wanna be talked to, and this was riding back home; some kids asked a passenger with a pizza box "aye yo fam can I get some pizza" and passenger said its empty or there's a few slices... and kids said something I couldn't make out but like "man, weak, whatever.... aye she look cute" and I don't know if this is a gesture towards the passengers daughter or what. I was riding back to the end of the line of this station and those same passengers got off and those brats got off like San leandro and cussing and playing with lighters. One other day, drunk guy got on stumbling and, just yelled "WHAT???!" at one passenger sitting down that even didn't say anything. I had a can of mace on me and had my hand over it in case, but the guy just stumbled and sat down.. and perhaps took a nap.. On Friday, 10/14/22 I was riding bart to the city, ok I guess and rode back home from the city to dublin around the mid evening around 8ish.. of course some hood passenger got on thinking he's Apollo Creeds son like shadowboxing the entry doors to other bart cars, after he boarded and was carrying like buckets of food or, something... and a backpack.. and after his shadowboxing he sat down and of course there were other passengers around.. spooked... I was like several rows down sitting where my bike was racked up. He then started snacking and eating.. After some passengers left, dude called out and said something like not to walk his way.. or something.. with his mouth full.. again I couldn't make out what he said but he was saying it firm loud and mad dogging the leaving passenger.. so whatever. He remained on the whole trip going back to the end of the line back to dublin/pleasanton and sometimes as my eyes wander I caught him mad dogging me! but I was thinking ok, he's outta here soon like getting off san Leandro or the Oakland "town bidness" stops but.............................. he got off the same end of the line stop as me....... ?!?!?!?!?!?!?! I got out looked back but its like he didn't get off so maybe he missed his spot but he seemed fully alert and not asleep, maybe lost track? but as I left and gone through the gates I didn't see him coming down. Anyhow, bart can be crazy BUT... I have seen and witnessed more Bart police that will walk through and in between trains, which is a good thing, I've started noticing this more in September as I took a ride out to the city to go bike around. Are these officers walking/patrolling at the right times? Maybe, maybe not. Nowadays I can say is if you ride BART, just stay alert and be aware though, I'm sure people will think that this is old news. read more

Date: 7/8/2017 Time: 8:44 PM 87° Clear This station is the end of the line on the BART system heading in an eastern direction through Alameda County. The check-in time is in the evening for a return trip to the San Leandro BART Station where we have parked the car. It's the first time my husband and I are taking BART to this destination. We have decided to use public transportation for our weekend outing to the Alameda County Fair. This option definitely saved us the aggravation of driving from Alameda to Pleasanton, fighting through the traffic congestion near the fairgrounds and paying about $15 to park in a dirt lot. Besides we are senior citizens trying to save money and be a little more pragmatic. It did not take us too long to familiarize ourselves with our surroundings. The BART agent was helpful when we asked if there were a bus we could catch to and from the county fair. (Yes, it's the #52 shuttle bus and the ride is free for us senior citizens boarding with our Clipper card.) Even the round trip from San Leandro BART to this station and return cost us less than $3.00 per person. What a deal. I can't complain, except for walking the equivalent of two blocks to the #52 bus stop in hot weather. This station is clean, which is a plus, compared to the ones in SF and Oakland. However, the lower level leading to the exit is a bit on the gray and dreary side - minor detail. I am glad that my husband and I used the option of public transportation (BART and shuttle bus service) to get somewhere and back. Bart stations are notorious for being dirty and sometimes dangerous. Dublin/Pleasanton Bart Station isn't like that, and is instead clean and safe, probably due to the fact that not too many people ride out to the end of the Blue Bart line. With that, there isn't too much around here by walking distance except for office buildings and car dealerships. The general vicinity is pretty industrialized, as all the malls, shopping, and good Asian food is a 5-10 minutes' drive away. I usually Bart out here to visit my friends in the area, who then pick me up on the righthand-side of the Bart station near the taxi-pick up. Even during rush hour, there's ample space for passenger pick up and drop off, without long congested queues of cars like other Bart stations. I never feel unsafe as I wait to get picked up as it's well lit and there are many passengers/taxi drivers nearby. read more

This is my first time riding Bart. We rode on a Sunday from Dublin/Pleasanton to the A's game at the Oakland Coliseum. The station was easy to find and there was lots of empty parking spots. It was a short walk from our car to the train. Parking was free since it's a weekend. Tickets round trip for my two kids and I came out to roughly $17.00. We chose Bart because it makes it from Dublin (the end of the line) to the coliseum in roughly 25 minutes. That can not be done by car. Not to mention parking at the coliseum is $30 and the traffic nightmare you would have to navigate getting into and out of the coliseum. Taking Bart saves you not only cash but time. That's always good. The train ride was smooth with a few stops on the way. People got on and off as needed. Overall the people were pleasant and the experience was enjoyable. I'm glad we took Bart. This Bart station is very clean compare to other locations. It is surrounded by newly developed condos, Great parking availability, & there's always someone at the counter ready to help. Taxi drivers are available whenever our family comes back on vacations, Bus runs frequently also, and majority of the time security officers are roaming around the area. Iron Horse trail is nearby if you're a biker. Great way to get around from one city to another. read more

My home station more so now that I live in Livermore. I tend to only want to use the Dublin side since my car was vandalized on the Pleasanton side some time back. The station is cleaner than most but I do have to say that sometimes there isn't a station agent there when I need them. One time in particular I was having issues loading my ClipperCard to use to get out of the station. Apparently the machines on the paid side of the fare gates do not allow you to load money on the ClipperCard for some reason. Against my rule-following ways, I left the paid area through the emergency exit, loaded money on my ClipperCard, went back in through the emergency exit and then tapped my card to get out the right way. Yeah this all could've been avoided if there were a station agent to talk with. All in all I hope they improve this vital piece to this station. I have no other choice on a BART station to use since the board shot down a Livermore station, but that's another review ;-) read more

Bart and their 1990 technology made it where if you load cash on your card on the app it takes 24 hours to load!! Its 2023 Bart you guys are crooks. Why can you take money out and then not be instantly on the app? Today my husband doesn't take BART often and was in a rush this morning. He didn't have enough change to pay @ the parking machine (It doesn't not take credit cards.) So he texted me for help. @10:15am, I went to Pleasanton Bart station to pay for $3 of parking. The machines are inside the gate. In the past, I never was refused when needed to use restroom at Bart, so today I asked the Bart attendants to let me in for a min to pay for parking. The Asian female attendants said "sorry you will need to have a ticket to go in." I explained my intention and she responded "it is the riders responsibility to pay for the parking. You can't go in." If we are not responsible I would not be here to pay for the parking. If the parking takes credit card this can be totally avoided. She did not offer any other resolution to remedy the situation. Helpless so I went to the ticket booth to get a $3 tickets to get in. After paid for parking, the gate won't let me out. I went to the attendants and they checked my tickets and said I have to pay another $3.40 to get out. That's the rule if I want leave the Bart station. I explain to them again and the answer basically is "too bad", that's the rule. It is very upsetting experience @ today. In the past I have meet some super nice Bart attendants but these two that works on 3/22 10:15am are unwilling to help and very unreasonable. read more

There's never parking here on weekday mornings unless you get there before 7 am. Instead, park on Arnold Rd and walk 15 min to the station. The Dublin parking structure is bigger even though they've replaced a bunch of the parking spots on ground level with apartment buildings. Reserved parking spots are free-for-all after 10 am. And if you want a reserved parking spot officially, good luck; waiting list for those are never-ending. Only $1 to park. Remember your parking spot number and pay at the ticket machines found to the side, after you pay and enter the station. Clipper card makes it easier to pay for those who ride BART often, supposedly. There's also a lot of glitches with them. Stations itself is pretty clean of any trash. Restroom near the back. Weekend parking is free on the Pleasanton side, still a dollar on the Dublin side, something about it being a private lot. The train itself is in its normal dirty, stinky, run-down Bart condition, that makes u want to burn the clothes you were in and take a hot 2 hr shower afterwards. They've replaced some of the cars with newer, not-as-disgusting seats, but most cars are still the old germy ones. With the ongoing union strikes of greedy Bart workers, the train schedule is also unpredictable. Every ticket booth agent (across several stations) I've talked with have either been unhelpful, rude, or unpleasant. read more

It's so fun to ride BART's old train cars with people sneezing on you, operators mumbling stops and circling pay parking lots for hours looking for a space. Forget about using a restroom... I don't know how this moving turd stays in business, but BART needs to get with the program. New cars, automated station announcements, better parking and user-friendly stations would be a starting point. One of the great things about living in Northern California is BART. Okay, stop laughing. It's not particularly stinky or dirty, and it's gets you where you're going. They've even finally found a way to get to San Jose after 30+ years. This would be the first time I've ever used BART, so everything from parking to buying tickets to finding the correct train would be a new experience. I've taken public transportation in New York City, Philadelphia, and Tokyo but this is different. I never had a car with me. Thankfully, BART saved me money by not charging for parking on Saturday. That was helpful. There were a number of bus stops outside the parking lot, and we walked between a number of food kiosks, past the newspaper vending machines, and over on the north side, into the ticket counter and machines area. The ticket machine was confusing. You don't buy a ticket using starting and ending points, but by the amount. They had a piece of paper with the prices to destinations. It seemed oddly out of place for an organization that had been in business for so long. I found a fare for $6.05 and wanted the round trip ticket, so I paid $12.10. I wasn't exactly sure, but I bought too much in case we were sidetracked or needed to leave SF from a more expensive, further out starting point. You could start with $10 or $20 and add $1 or $0.05 at a time. It worked and spit out the ticket. It wasn't awful, though it all seemed worn. Getting through the gate was no big deal: put the ticket in the nearest slot, and it records the stripe's information and spits it out the top, and releases the gate and you walk through to find the platform. Since this station is at the end of the line, there is no question about which train to take. If you need to transfer to Richmond or Pittsburg, you do that at another station. If only it was so easy on the return trip--versatility is a multi-edged sword. Things worked, and that's what's important. read more

Dick is earning his $64,000 a year. (This job is like winning the lottery.) Finally, Dick impatiently put down the phone and takes his feet off the desk and asks me, "What do you want?!!" with real hostility. I've had a woman agent also be aggressive. I have now been "Bart-ing" into work for over a year and I must say this Bart Station seems to be pretty good and clean. Rarely is anything broken or not working. Parking can be a problem as there is simply not enough parking spaces for the amount of passengers this Bart station supports. The platform is elevated above the freeway so if you are waiting for a bart train it is usually windy and a bit noisy up there. During the winter season waiting can sometimes be a bit miserable as you have all of this cold wind blowing on your face on top of the fact that it is already freezing. One last honorable mention - if you take the after midnight Bart Train you might find yourself sitting with some recent guests of the county. Usually after midnight is when the local jail releases some of their guests back to society and Bart is how they travel back home. read more

Just make sure to remember your parking spot number (teeny-tiny, the spot, not the number) because you need it to pay he $1 parking fee. There are always plenty of seats because this is the end of the line. You're not always guaranteed a pleasant ride though. Sometimes you end up seated next to a crazy person who talks to himself. And the last train car I sat in smelled like urine and had an unpleasant squealing sound whenever the train was moving. Oh well. A roundtrip to and from SF isn't cheap at over $11 + $1 for parking, but the convenience of not having to find parking in SF cannot be beat. The station itself is pretty spacious, as long as you're only dealing with the commuter crowd. But on weekends there are idiots who don't know how to use the ticket dispense machines. I'll still keep using BART to avoid having to find parking in SF, but it really is not as cost effective as I think it should be. read more

Took the BART to the Coliseum Saturday 8/28/21 and when I parked i saw at least 10 cars with there windows broken out. I guess you can just leave your windows down and your car unlocked to avoid this. One more thing, The air conditioner on the train worked just fine on the ride up. I noticed the AC was off on the ride back. I had to get off the train about half way just to get some air. I was hoping the next train would have a working AC? NOPE. BART SUCKS. read more

Park on the Pleasanton side to avoid the parking garage and the mess that is Central Parking's system on the Dublin side. It's generally pretty clean but the bathrooms can get pretty dirty. It's not like I had high expectations. Like most Bart stations, it's getting dirtier each year. Water leaks from the ceiling in the ticket area. It's a bit hectic during baseball season because people don't know how to purchase tickets. But for the commuting bunch, it's such an easy way to get to SF. I just wish the platforms were indoor because it's hard to hear announcements with all the freeway noise. I work right across the street from this station so its very convenient and helps save on gas and commute headaches. I lost my high value ticket recently and like a genious, left my id and atm card in the jeans I wore the day before. Of course I didn't have any cash. Everyone from work and my workout at 24 went home. Luckily for me the station agent was very nice and gave me a ticket home. Major crisis avoided! I've never used the restroom here so no critiques on that. Its a public restroom... What do you expect? Other than that, the station is clean and has lots of daily fee parking. read more
