I came from SFO and ended at West Dublin/ Pleasanton bart station. It was so convenient not having to drive through traffic. I got on the SFO bart around 3:30pm and transfer from yellow line to blue line at Balboa Park and got to West Dublin around 5:15pm. Not bad at all. Much cheaper than riding a Lyft or Uber from SFO. What's even more convenient is that you no longer need a clipper card. Your credit card works! Super convenient! read more

East Bay stop that is pretty close to the other stop in the Dublin area. As of 3/2026, this is the 2nd to the last stop in the East Bay line. I usually go to the other stop in Dublin, but my brother dropped me off at this one because it was close to some of the errands he was running that day. This was on the weekend, so there was really not that many people around. I haven't used this stop during the busy commute times, but this area is nice and so is the station. Since I was dropped off, I can't speak for the parking. But it was a nice stroll to get to the boarding area. read more

I visited the West Dublin/Pleasanton BART station for the first time on Sunday, 1/7/24, around 11:30 AM. I usually go to Dublin/Pleasanton BART station (1st of the train line) but decided to come here instead for a change. It was convenient to do the West station because my itinerary had one less stop versus if I had gone to the other location. This BART station was nice. It was very quiet and chill. The scenery around was enjoyable to see. The bathroom was well-maintained and clean. The parking situation was accessible, especially with the readily available spaces on the first floor. I will continue to come to this particular BART station moving forward. read more

This is one of the newest BART stations in the line, and it's still pretty modern and well-maintained. The bathrooms are usually available, unlike many of the other stations. Of course there is a parking fee at the station, as in many other BART stations. I sometimes take Uber here, which is a lot more convenient. Also, it is very difficult to get a parking space after 7 am. So overall, I'm pretty good experience at the station. But I don't think anyone will confuse this with first class luxury travel. read more

So came here due to wanting to go to Stoneridge shopping center, so wasted $6.45 each way in doing so. Bartable gave me false information about Stoneridge. So after spending an hour there I remember there was an REI and Target on the other side. And so there were and off I went for a walk. Tips for using BART (really doesn't matter from which station): * get the Clipper card (a reloadable contactless smart card used for electronic transit fare payment in the San Francisco Bay Area). Why deal with purchasing tickets and missing your train. Clipper, an homage to the clipper ships of the 19th century, which were the fastest route for traveling from the east coast to San Francisco. Passes and tickets are specific to each system. You can add value to your card as you go, or for added convenience, you can set up Autoload, which automatically reloads your card whenever your pass expires or your cash value balance falls below $10. * Check on-line the departing schedule for your station. Isn't it annoying to just miss your train, and you have to wait 14 minutes for the next train? * For weekdays, get to the station before 7:15 am (varies per station based on popularity of that station). For Dublin/Pleasanton, to play it safe, get there before 7:00 am. The parking lot definitely fills up. Parking is also available at 10:00 am. Well... it is a Bart station, so if your from the SF/Bay Area you know what I mean. Bart opened this 'infill' station in 2011, and at the time, I recently moved from East Dublin to West Dublin and was kinda confused on why they would be building another Dublin/Pleasanton station. Fast forward a few years, and it was an amazing decision on Bart's part. Its WAY more convent for West Dubliners than going all the way to the end of the line, Dublin/Pleasanton station. On the safety scale, it one of the safest stations in the whole Bart system. As Sean M. said, "the stabiness level is low", which is hilarious and absolutely true. Its always clean, and being near the end of the line, you can always find a seat on the train going into the city. The location is spot on and easy to get to. Right off of Dublin Blvd. (Dublin side), and right across the street from the Stoneridge Mall (P-Town side). Parking is generally good, but it is a Bart station so its kinda a pain to find a spot. You can arrive, circle the parking garage, then eventually come to the conclusion that there are no spots and end up parking at Toys R Us or by Marshalls and where OSH used to be, then run to get to the train. Trains run every 15 minutes, so if you just miss it, you weren't late, you are just really early for the next one! (Heard that from a train operator one time) Its happened to me a bunch of times, and it won't be the last. As for the whole line, its kinda inconvenient coming from Pleasant Hill, where I go to school. I have taken Bart home from there multiple times, and you do have to transfer twice, 12th Street Oakland and Lake Merritt. Which is easy since the train you need is always right after the one you get off of, and if there are no delays. To the city is easy, as the train goes all the way to Daily City, where you can get to SFO. I have been taking Bart pretty much since I was born and I have been through the days of the carpet floor cars, wool seats, and now the nice vinyl seats and floor. We are getting the new cars soon, but will really miss the old cars, even though they always break down and cause delays for the whole system to suffer from. There is plenty of parking for you folks who live in the 925. You can pick cities to go to at this station. If you go towards the field you are in Dublin. If you go the other direction you get to Stoneridge Mall in Pleasanton. Also I don't mean to burst people's bubble but it's kind of strange their bathrooms are not that dirty. It even comes with a small window. It's one of last of those 1970s-1980s design with those weird square glass windows. However they are not as clean as Millbrae, Colma and Santa Clara County Stations. Okay enough toilet talk but if you need to buy some food get off on the Dublin side because there are plenty of supermarkets nearby without the use of a bus. All you need to do is walk. If you got a grocery run and you live in the Dublin/San Leandro/Livermore part of the 925 then this is your stop read more

I mean it's a BART station. Not sure how to assess so I figured stabiness, urine smell level, users, punctuality. Most importantly, the stabiness level is low. It's probably one of the safest stations I've been to. It is pretty clean. On a urine smell level of 5, it's a 1 at most. You hop the train outside in the middle of the highway, so you get the joy of breathing carbon monoxide from passing cars as opposed to being stuck in an undeeground station. Given the stabiness level is low, you could defer that the population here is a notch up. And it is. Mostly professional people or during a sporting event, some families on the way to a game. It is the beginning of the route, so it is pretty much always punctual and often there a few minutes early so you can hop on in the morning and get out of the weather for a few minutes before taking off. read more

Bigger black lady was too lazy to even walk to the microphone to have a decent conversation so I had to read her lips for instructions on how to pay for parking with a clipper card. A fine BART station. You'll have a better chance to find a place to park after 9am at this station than at the other Dublin station. I also think this station is also easier to pick up people from. If you haven't been to Dublin before both stations are in safe areas and near shopping. read more

West Dublin/Pleasanton BART Station - Garage bridge to station - Public Transportation Near Me - Dublin, California

I use this station occasionally as it is the closest to Manteca. While Modesto's MAX system has bus service to this station, I have only driven here on the weekend. There is a parking lot, as well as a parking garage. What you find first depends on your approach to the station. You can enter the station on the third level of the parking garage without any significant exposure to bad weather. After entering, you need to choose a ticketing machine. The path was not exactly clear. You can buy new tickets or add to existing tickets. The machines will use a credit or debit card. If you have a existing ticket, select the option for that and insert the ticket. It will display the balance and suggest a value to add to it. It works well enough, but attention to detail is necessary. (Don't ask any employees for help. They don't seem enthusiastic to help.) Since this is at the end of the line, you can only go in one direction, as far as Daly City on the same train. Unfortunately, the trains don't seem to be colored, which would be extremely helpful on the way. There are Yellow, Orange, Red, and Green lines in addition to this Blue line route that ends here. This latest time, the train seemed about 5 minutes late, which for U.S. public transportation doesn't seem so bad. In Japan, you can set your watch by the train's arrival. The platform was not horribly dirty, but didn't seem clean, either. If you've been on public transportation in New York City or Philadelphia, or even Washington, DC, you know to expect adequacy. read more

Clean so far.. Considering all the other BART stations, the cleanliness will soon fade as it ages. And it provides more shelter from adverse weather than the other Dublin/Pleasanton station. I'm sure it's very convenient for those from other parts of the bay who want to shop at Stoneridge or for commuters coming from I680 who don't want to go any more inland to use BART. As for me, since I'm coming from the East, I'll still most likely use the Dublin/Pleasanton Station. Oh, and as for parking.. I parked on the Pleasanton side. The garage is kinda small so either the Dublin side has more parking spaces or Stoneridge is going to have an issue with commuters parking on their lot soon (esp. if people don't want to pay the $1 parking fee). read more

It's confusing that there's are 2 Pleasanton BART Stations: Pleasanton BART Station and West Dublin/Pleasanton BART Station. Make sure you know which destination you want to reach! There's been construction going on for a long time at the intersection right before you reach the drop-off zone. Not sure what they're building/renovating, but it makes the area look awful. Almost seems like it's not a BART Station, but rather, a business area under construction. The station itself is fairly new and located in the middle of the freeway, which is a concept I still can't quite wrap my head around. Even though there's somewhat of a barrier between you and the flying cars on the road, it still feels slightly dangerous. The only gripe I have is that if you miss your train, you've got a long wait for the next train since there's only one train going in each direction. read more

This is the BART station closest to my home and is by far one of the cleanest stations that I have been to including the restroom. There have never been any people at this station begging for food or money and it never smells of urine. It is within walking distance of multiple apartment/townhouse complexes. It also has one parking garage and a second garage that is being built across the highway so parking is not an issue if you are a commuter. I love to travel to the city and to A's/warriors games, which I did today and this is always my starting point. I also commute to concord for work occasionally. read more

One of the newest BART additions on the Dublin/Pleasanton (blue) line. The cleanest BART station I've been to, as evidenced by the elevators and bathrooms - both of which are urine smell-free. Outside of the station and just after the stairwell on the Dublin side, there is a taxi queue (if you haven't gone to the Uber or Lyft side yet). There is also a parking structure available but I'm not sure how much the daily parking fee is. read more

Wow! I've been living in Seattle so long that I had no idea there was a West station. Somehow my family forgot to tell me! So when I was in town visiting my brother who lives in Pleasanton, it made more sense for him to drop my off at BART to head to the airport than for him to drive 40 mins each way (without traffic!) Not only is this station 10 mins closer to his house, it's closer to the airport! Set about 4-5 miles farther west on 580, I was glad to not have to stand around and wait in the middle of nowhere for a train. So it wasn't just shiny and new, it was more conveniently located and well organized. Within 2 mins I bought my ticket and hopped on the next train. This is an especially great station for anyone looking to shop at Stoneridge Mall. Definitely one of the better malls in the Bay Area, you can take BART to this station and just walk across the street to shop your heart out. read more

Bad planning and operation-My failed try to ride BART I am not from the area, but on a business trip for San Francisco, I tried to park at the closest BART station and ride the public transportation for 1) avoid road traffic 2) be environmental conscious for the the emission 3) improve the road condition for SF. I thought that was the intent of the BART system as well. But in reality it appears it is not executed well. The parking lots (that I found by driving around, and from a direction from a parking lot staff, who stand at the entrance of a parking lot to let in certain vehicles, employees I assume) are full when I arrived at 9 AM. Forgive me that I didn't search exhaustively for all the parking lot, but the one that visible to a visitor are completely full. Which make me wonder how BART operates during the day, everyone need to have a ride to the station? From some reviewer here, now I know we need to be there before 7 to get a parking slot. Poor people who missed that window but still need to go to work! I understand the parking space could be limited because of large number of commuters in the nearby communities, but wouldn't a public transportation be more efficient if it can operate outside of rush hour also? Why can't the parking lot be designed and operated to allow commuters to park a little further with shuttle buses (during rush hours), and reserve some spaces for hourly parking so that more people can utilize BART and save our planet? I wasn't able to take the BART, and instead I drove to SF and find a hourly parking garage there. So I don't know how BART is utilized outside of rush hour, but would imagine a lot less people are using it for that reason. It's really a waste of resource if its use outside of rush hour are really limited by parking lot size, not the transportation capacity (which is much more expensive to built). read more

As far as BART stations go, this one is the best I've been to. I am a daily commuter on BART and this station provides quick and easy access. Granted, I'm an early morning commuter, so I do not experience the problems of struggling for parking. Even in the earlier commute, you will have to be one of the first 3-4 folks on the train at this station to get a seat. I always try to be on the platform at least 7 minutes before my train's scheduled departure time and that seems to be enough 9 out of 10 times. West Dublin/Pleasanton is the cleanest and nicest because it is the newest, ,of course. But I feel like even 10 years from now, this will still be a great station. The staff who work here are very helpful and pleasant. For as much as I detest BART overall, at the very least, I've got a really nice station to go in and out from. read more

I'm a fan of the BART period. IMO, our metro line could take a que from the BART. I love it's efficiency. This particular station was clean and easy to maneuver through. Easy on, easy off with adjoining parking garage. It was very helpful that this location was near our hotel and surrounding other businesses. Huge plus for the convenient factor! Note: I learned the hard way that not all stations have restroom facilities. It pained me to have to wait another 10-15 minutes to get on the next train. There are two parking lots to choose from - Pleasanton side / Dublin side 2. It's 2nd stop on the way to the City so you always have a sit 3. You don't have weirdos or super ghetto folks cause it's Dublin / Pleasanton if you're in the area and want to get to the City this is a no brainer. read more

The station itself is fine. One of the better ones in the system. The big problem here is parking, specially after the mall has decided to close off it's parking. You either have to be there before 7AM or after 10 to find a spot if you don't have a monthly pass. Most of the ticket agents are nice. There is one who is a jerk, but I suppose there are a few of those everywhere. The BART parking lot cops are ridiculous - they will give you a ticket even when you are in the right, and tell you to fight it. They know you can't leave work and will probably pay the $40 just to get rid of it. read more

Wow! I'm so dumbfounded that I'm pissed! Ha ha...c below... My daughter decided to use Bart this morning and forgot to pay her parking spot, so she asked me to pay it. No problem! We don't usually take Bart, but how hard will it be to pay for her parking... When I arrived at this station, I couldn't find a machine to pay for parking. So, I went to the one lady in the booth and throughly explained the situation. She said Its inside the gates and that I'll have to pay to get in, so that I can pay for my daughters parking, even though I'm not using Bart?!. (Other country's will let u in to take care of issues w/o paying for nothing?!). I then asked her if there's atleast a restroom inside(since I had a big breakfast/coffee etc ha ha) and she said "no". Yikes. Hmm...beware travelers, no relief at this station. I decided to hurry up and I paid to get in, so I can pay again and get the heck out! Now I have a Bart ticket, which has a balance that I might never use. :( FYI: it was Friday 1/8/16 8:35am So other than that, I love this location since I live down foothill Blvd and it's Easy to pickup/drop off my kids when they go to sf to party! which is next to Stoneridge Mall! I've been riding BART from this station ever since it opened. I don't ride that often but I always feel safe at this station and for the most part you can almost always find parking. Once in a while though especially during commute times the parking garage on the Dublin side is completely full. I never seem to have an issue though, because I am not usually riding during those times. Overall good BART station. read more
