Overall, I had a fantastic experience here! Most of the tacos were absolutely delicious, and I loved the convenience of ordering and paying right from my phone instead of waiting for a server. However, there are a couple of downsides. First, the seating arrangement is cramped because they pack customers in extremely close together to maximize capacity, making it very loud and easy to overhear the entire conversation of the people sitting right next to you. The portions are small and overpriced. It very much is catered to the surrounding population. I was confused by the sweet chorizo since I've known it to be spicy. Very nice spot in a good location in between the two malls. Accessible from inside the mall and outside. Outdoor seating available when the weather permits. It's always packed and they don't take reservations but you can join the waitlist on the website 30 mins before going. The tacos are very good. You have to get a bunch because they're only a few bites and not that filling. Foods very fresh and pretty good flavor. The kale Caesar was very good. The dressing is creamy and you can taste the anchovy paste. The shrimp taco was very disappointing. There's a plantain purée base on it, which makes it really sweet and overpowers the shrimp. Stopped by Bartaco in King of Prussia while I was in town for business travel. The place seemed pretty cool and it was right next to my hotel, so I gave it a shot. Started with the chips and salsa. The chips come out as one big round circle, which threw me off at first, but it ended up being good and a different experience. I ordered a mix of tacos after that. The sauce for the tacos had a nice light flavor that complemented the fish well. The corn side dish felt like a bite of summer. It was so fresh and sweet and the spices didn't overwhelm the natural corn flavor. If you're going to Bartaco don't skip the plantains! They may be the best I've ever had. I could have eaten 3 servings of them, they were that good. For dessert, I tried the key lime pie. It had a great tart flavor, but went a little overboard on the lime zest sprinkled on top. The zest starts to feel weird texturally when you have that much on a small dish. Last, and probably least, was the margarita mix. I was so looking forward to a Friday night margarita and this was, hands down, the worst I've ever had. It came in a cool pouch, the color was good, but it was like sucking on a lime. Even after adding tequila all I could taste was the lime. I actually wondered if they forgot to add the other ingredients to the mix and just gave me a bag of lime juice. The flavors were there, but the tacos were not tasty. Overall, I think the biggest issue is the taco skin they use is super grainy and leaves a gritty feeling afterwards. On the other hand, the berry colada was yummy! Also make sure to only order from the QR code or from the waiter. Everyone else we encountered that worked here was equally as nice! The restaurant is sort of half indoor half outdoor, and the sunshine and breeze were flowing through the place, great location. The tacos were great, I really liked the oyster and chorizo tacos. The pork belly was good but smothered in a bit too much sweet sauce, so it was hard to eat the whole thing. Met up with a friend from out of town and we had a great time catching up over dinner outdoors. It was a little overcast but the summer ambience outside was nice with ample covering in case of a little rain. Sangrias were good as were the tacos. Baja fish and pork belly are still my favorites. Th duck was a little too salty for my palette. Music was also a little too loud outside so it was a little hard on us to hear each other. Might've been better if we were seated a little farther away from the speakers. Service was fast and staff were friendly. Heads up, the doors to the mall close earlier than the times shown. If you're parked in the orange parking garage, you may need to walk across the walkway outside, across the parking lot and street, and up a few flights of stairs to reach it. The path back is not very convenient or accessible for wheelchair users or cane users, so be careful of the closing time if you're there in the evening. read more

So pleasantly surprised by the "taco place at the mall"! I thought it would be overpriced and inauthentic but I was happy to be proven wrong. Walking up to its own door from outside the mall, the ambiance is great - lots of greenery and a very calming vibe, reminiscent of pulling up at a beachside taco place in Southern California (plenty of indoor or outdoor seating). Their specialty seems to be the seafood tacos (we tried the fish taco, fried oyster taco, and the ahi tuna taco in butter lettuce - and all were amazing in their own way and incredibly refreshing from the perfect amount of tanginess). The pork belly and duck tacos were pretty good, but a little on the sweet side and felt a little heavy for lunchtime in comparison- they just didn't have that perfect lightness with the slaw or butter lettuce that the seafood ones delivered. I was, admittedly, overly ambitious - I saw pisco on the drink menu and ceviche on the appetizer options, and it reminded me of trips to Argentina and Chile so I had to get the ceviche for old time sake - and it was good but surprisingly hearty, in fact, a great value, if not a little too much to split among two people. I think I will save that for when I am with a larger group next time. For two people, the small cucumber salad side was a nice palate cleanser for between tacos. It's my go to side dish at dim sum restaurants but they did a great job here. And last but not least, the margaritas were fresh, made in-house, and delicious perfection! We got a regular one and a "green" one - made "spicy" so exactly half the rim was coated in Tajin seasoning - I don't know why not every bar/restaurant knows to do only half the rim because they should - you get to choose exactly how much seasoning you want with each sip based on where you drink from. It's really the little things that shows they know what they're doing! Long story short, we'll be recommending this place and making it a date night/lunch staple! read more
