First time here. We went on a Saturday in the evening. There is a parking lot but it was mostly full at that time. It was very hard to leave the parking lot due to it being full and cars trying to find parking. I had to back my car up to get out. Next time, I will either park closer to the entrance/exit or park on the street. The wait was about 10 mins. There is indoor and outdoor seating. We opted for indoor seating due to the temperature. The food was very good, esp. the guacamole. We got the coyote guacamole and it is probably one of the best I've ever had. It's very creamy and smooth. They give you salsa and chips for the table. The salsa does have a bit of a kick. We asked for 2 refills for the salsa and chips - they charged us the 3rd one. We also got the mix tostaditas, house traditional nachos for two (added grilled chicken), salmon taco, and fajita todos. We were too full for dessert but the dessert options look good. The service was ok. We did have to flag the server a couple of times. The decor is very interesting. I would definitely come back again. read more

While the food was good, the atmosphere and the service were disappointing. We sat out on the covered patio. The noise level was ridiculously loud. We could not hold a conversation with our friends sitting across from us at the table. Would have stayed later, ordered more drinks and maybe dessert if we could have maintained conversations. Additionally, we couldn't hear our server because he was on the other side of the table. The server had a runner bringing drinks and food to the table. Twice he brought the wrong drinks to our table. When the food came, only 3 out of the 4 meals made it to the table. We had to flag our server down to ask what was up. He had to track it down. If you don't mind service that is not very attentive and having to yell over loud music and loud patrons, or if you don't want conversation with your meal, this place is for you. This is such a cool spot. From the vibrant decor to the beautiful outdoor garden patio, CC is one of the best hidden gems in the area. I've been here a few times now and their HH is great, esp the margs and chicken & shrimp empanadas. The hibiscus marg was a surprise. Slightly tart and tangy, and not too sweet, it is absolutely delightful. The empanadas are crispy yet airy and the filling is flavorful and yummy. Their mole enchilada was amazing! The mole had a subtle chocolatey flavor and was savory and earthy. SO good. On warmer days, the floor to ceiling windows are open and it creates this beautiful and private space that's very inviting. We hadn't been to Coyote Crossing in ages, and we're so glad we made it back on Saturday night. I had the shrimp and steak molcajete--packed with flavor and perfectly cooked--and my wife went with the pork burrito. Generous portions meant we had plenty to take home for leftovers, which we're already looking forward to enjoying again. The skinny margarita and the spicy margarita were both outstanding--just the right balance of citrus and heat. We started with the guacamole, which was fresh, creamy, and perfectly spiced. I brought in my new year here one year and it was just a great calm night. We sat outside with the outdoor heaters. The patio area is decorated with beautiful lights and trees that gives off a resort feel. The food is delicious and I enjoyed it so much I made sure my former boss took me here for lunch as my moving on gift lol. Now that I think about it, it's time to go back. Unfortunately service was a bit slow, and it was particularly difficult to get the check (for the tables around us as well), but otherwise it was great and I would come back again! We sat on the patio and it was so nice. Loved the greenery and lights. The complimentary chips were very fresh and came with pico de gallo which I personally prefer over salsa so I was happy. I ordered the fresh fashion margarita which was massive! For apps, we did the picadillo empanadas which were perfect! Some of the best empanadas I've had. Amazing flavor and come with fresh guac. I recently visited while traveling out of town with a group, and since we all love Mexican food, we were excited to try this restaurant. Unfortunately, the experience was pretty average overall. We started with the queso fundido with poblanos, but when our server brought it out, he said, "Here's the queso with green things--I don't know what it's called." That wasn't exactly the level of menu knowledge I expected. I also ordered a skinny margarita, which was just okay and not one I'd order again. One of the biggest disappointments was the digital menu. Our table only received one iPad to share and the screen had food and greasy fingerprints all over it. It was pretty gross, and I ended up walking to the hostess stand myself to ask for clean ones. For my meal, I had the shredded chicken burrito. It was fine, but nothing memorable. The complimentary chips were good, but the pico de gallo was incredibly spicy. When I asked if there was a milder version, I was told they didn't have one. The server explained that people used to complain it wasn't spicy enough, and now it's probably too hot. It would be nice if they offered both a mild and a spicy option since not everyone enjoys that level of heat. Overall, it wasn't a terrible experience, but there were enough little issues with the service, cleanliness, and food that I don't think I'd return the next time I'm in town. read more

With a large Christmas tree in the front foyer and a photographer roaming the restaurant, we saw quite a lot of families having their holiday card pictures taken. Generally, service was good and the decor was whimsical. Would note that the chairs were not comfortable for a leisurely dinner. The guacamole was delicious and I loved the spice level of the jalapeños and pickled carrots on the carne asada nachos, though the steak could have been hotter and more tender and the virgin mojito was basically vaguely-flavored water (mocktails not recommended here). Overall, if you're looking for a place to dine in between the city and the country, Coyote Crossing isn't bad. read more

Very cool look, awesome outdoor space, and incredible service. The bar on the way out to the patio is something out of a Miami Vice episode. Funky plates and glassware, but the tables are a bit too small to accommodate it. There was, however, a very serious insect problem outside. We watched a swarm of hundreds of small, flying insects (some kind of gnat?) pass across the garden, eventually hitting us during our dinner. My kids were very upset because bugs were landing in/on their food. It basically ruined the evening. We only went the once, and probably won't be back - but if this is any kind of recurrent situation, they really need to do something about it. I could see closing the patio entirely for a period if its like two weeks every year that this happens if this is going on and can't be remediated with some sort of spray treatment, torches, perhaps or planting a hedge of some particular flower, or just a citronella or two on every table. Food was okay, though we would have appreciated a warning that the guacamole was so jalapeño centric with younger kids at the table. Cost the earth for some reason. Our waiter got our drink order wrong - brought back the two correct drinks, but were still wrong - and proceeded to spill one on my daughter, on her bag and on my granddaughter's books. He knew he did it, never acknowledged or apologized. We waited 30 minutes to place our order, 30 minutes for our food to arrive and had to find him about 30 minutes after our meal was finished for our check. All this with a thankfully patient toddler. I believe we were charged for the two wrong drinks as well. The prices are very high, our service was very poor. Nestled in the Conshohocken area, Coyote Crossing is a hidden gem! The walls of the restaurant are beautiful. When sitting outside, there is a fountain on display. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted and escorted to our table. We ordered the Smoked corn, Paella Sofrito, and the Steak and Shrimp Fajitas. The Paella and Fajitas were to DIE for. We came to Coyote Crossing to celebrate my aunt and uncle's 40th anniversary, and everything about the evening was wonderful! First, a big shoutout to our server, Iliana, she was amazing. Warm, attentive, and so on top of everything, even with our large group. She made the night feel extra special. We had a set family-style menu, which worked perfectly for a big celebration. Everything was fresh, authentic, and delicious, from the salsa bar and guacamole to the pulled pork and chicken tostaditas. The main dishes (fajitas and molcajetes with beef, chicken, and shrimp) came out sizzling and flavorful, and the chopped salad was a nice balance to all the rich dishes. For dessert, the board with churros, tres leches, and flan was a crowd-pleaser--we couldn't stop picking at it! The restaurant itself has such a festive, welcoming atmosphere, and the food felt both abundant and thoughtfully prepared. It was the perfect spot for a milestone celebration. I hadn't been here in years hoping for an improvement. Went yesterday for lunch and it's just as bad as I remember. First the smoked corn guacamole was not truly smoked. It tasted like liquid smoke was mixed into it. The chips and "salsa" is really pic, which I wasn't made because I like pico de gallo. The tortilla chips on the other hand are super think and rock hard. If you have dental work be careful! We ordered drinks. The frozen margaritas are a premade mix so don't ask for a tequila upgrade like I did. I ordered the green enchiladas. My friend ordered the shrimp enchiladas. My margarita finally came to the table and it was warm and completely melted. It tasted okay. When we were presented with our enchiladas they were completely covered in cheese. Surprisingly I didn't mind it. We both liked the enchiladas. Our waitress was a bit aloof. Kept giving us warm water. We had to keep asking for ice. I guess he shift was over because she kept hovering for us to pay. Weird thing was the place had just opened for lunch. And don't get me started on the flies. It was disgusting. We came as a group last night and while understanding it was a Friday night the whole meal took 2 hours which was just honestly a really long time. They took drink orders then apps, then once we were almost done the apps took the entree order. I ordered the shrimp rellenos which somehow didn't come with cheese as indicated in the menu. It was shrimp covered in a pepper and green sauce. No one ever asked how the food was. It really had no flavor. We were in the bar area it was so loud. It was super expensive for the quality. The empanada was not worth the $$$. $12 for a mediocre sized empanada, that was cut in half. Since it was already an expensive place, we decided to ball out on getting seven Mares. 7 different seafoods (mussel, calamari, shrimp, salmon, probably others I forgot) and it came with cactus. Best food and service in PA!!! The margaritas are delicious and strong. The vibes are dark and cozy, perfect for dates. Love their happy hour but can't go wrong any time of day!
