Nothing new to report ... just checking in. Our monthly family outing for July (Sun., 7/11/26) brought us back here. All 5 of us agreed it was worthy of another visit. It was a pleasure seeing Natya again. She makes it a no brainer when deciding to return here. NGL, the duck and pork belly tacos have me in a chokehold! One of my son's and my daughter couldn't seem to get enough of the lobster-corn tacos today. Also, I don't typically eat corn (creamed, popped, on the cob ... a nutritionist taught me to avoid it at all costs) but I ate TWO pieces of their Mexican street corn today. On top of that, we may have overdid it on the Espresso Martinis. #WeListenAndWeDontJudge One MINOR complaint. We prefer the qr code ordering process and were bummed that wasn't an option this time. Especially since I said no cilantro but my tacos were delivered full of it. *Sigh* Looking forward to hearing about YOUR repeat visit(s). When you go, tell them you saw it on Yelp!

    Four varieties of tacos

The tacos were quite good. The carne asada was probably my favorite taco. The pork belly was good, the chicken tinga was maybe my least favorite of the four, but still pretty good. The fish was good, but because I needed cilantro removed, it ended up being completely plain. I would have liked something else with it, dressing, cabbage, onions, something. Service is a little confusing. You were supposed to hang up a card if you wanted attention from a server or something?

Great spot for Mexican food and drinks! The margarita was excellent, and the tequila old fashioned was amazing--definitely a highlight. We started with the guacamole, which was fresh and delicious, and the small tacos were very tasty. Everything had great flavor, and the drinks made the meal even better. Waitress was timely and friendly. Vibe was between a California outdoor bar and a tiki bar... fun vibe. Would definitely come back!

Absolutely amazing food! I love that Bartaco is now in North Bethesda with an amazing location. The inside/outside seating is plenty with beautiful decor. Our server recommended a lot of dishes to us, which we ultimately got them all. Everything I had was a 10/10! I can't wait to come back.

It's awesome that Bartaco's opened up right here in Rockville! Okay, 'North Bethesda' -- if you believe that mythical place exists, ha ha! I wasn't even trying to go here or find a restaurant but was driving by and saw a new place, so I got excited and thought I must try it! I'm glad I did. Everything was delicious. The vibe is really nice, too .... I need to go again to try more! I need to try more food and also see what it's like when the weather is warm enough to open it up and give it that real Miami vibe ... without the travel, extreme heat, etc., ha ha! They play great music, too!

The lovely hanging basket decor. As you walk in the door...

" I am blessed, obsessed, and impressed with Bartaco!" Bartaco in Reston, Virginia was my all time favorite taco restaurant. I couldn't be happier when I heard the news that they were coming to Pike and Rose, which is much closer to me. I loved their creamy guacamole and chips. My granddaughter could eat a bowl of that guacamole all by herself. But, this time it wasn't her that finished off the delicious freshly made guacamole. ; ) We had a mango margarita that was really good. It wasn't too sweet and I loved the mango flavor in the margarita cocktail. Service was excellent! Thank you Aliyah! She was fabulous. I would search out her table when I go back again. She was that good. We had the opportunity to meet Alex, the manager, who was greeting tables. He was very nice. The tacos were excellent. One thing about Bartaco is the size of the taco is smaller, but the ingredients are high end. I had a duck taco with a tasty sauce. I also had a fish taco, that was excellent! The restaurant is decorated with hanging baskets and lovely warm modern decor. Our table was very comfortable. The restaurant is really busy. So, I would make a reservation. I am thrilled that they are close by and I can't wait to go back.

Stopped by bartaco last month for their Margarita Month and had such a fun experience. I started at the bar with their house sangria with rum, which was amazing definitely a new favorite. For starters, I tried the rice cakes, then moved on to the coconut mojito, which was super refreshing. I love that they freshly squeezed their juices. Once seated, I ordered the drink of the week, the Yucatán mango margarita. I love mango's but not a spicy spicy cocktail girlie, however this drink had a slight kick that was surprisingly enjoyable. I also had the chips and dip and a soft crab taco, both good. To finish, I ordered the churros, which were the perfect sweet ending. Overall, great vibes, flavorful drinks, and a solid spot to check out.

The house margarita is excellent they squeeze real fruit juice in every glass. The food was really good my favorite taco was the Baja chicken packed with flavor. The service and the ambiance were welcoming. I would recommend.

Everything was amazing! It was finally nice outside, so they had the doors open which gave the whole place beachy vibes. The tacos were incredible. The menu says each taco is about 3-4 bites and recommends ordering 3-5 per person, which felt pretty accurate. Honestly, you could probably be full after four if you also get an appetizer. We tried a bunch of different tacos including the crab cake, pork belly, and carne asada, and they were all great. For appetizers we got the plantains and the tamale. The plantains were amazing and the dipping sauce was so good. The guacamole was chunky and fresh, which we loved. At first we were confused why there were so many trays on the table, but then realized all the tacos come out on one big tray and you move them onto your own little tray to eat. Margaritas were great and our server was super nice.

Came here yesterday for lunch with a friend. It was my first time and my friend had been here before. The restaurant is really nicely decorated and the music was good. In general, great ambience with good size lunch crowd. We ordered a guacamole to share which came with crispy corn tortilla shells. For main entrees, I ordered 4 tacos; sesame ribeye, carnitas, pork belly and chicken verde. My friend ordered a fish taco and ahi tuna. Guac was great and good size and all of my tacos were delicious. My friend enjoyed her choices too. She mentioned the margaritas are really good but it was lunch and we didn't want to drink. Service was great! I know the tacos are supposed to be street tacos but these were really tiny. I took a star off because they were so small and because the price is a little high for the size. This said, I would probably still go back!

This place has been revisited by me way too many times for me to even keep track. The ambiance, the food, the amazing people who work here have made coming here such an amazing experience every time. The food is amazing, especially for the price they're marked as. Upon my numerous visits, I personally recommend you, the Carnitas, Pork Belly, and the Chicken Verde tacos! (Give the Esquites a try if you love corn) One of my favorite things about this place is their selection of fresh pressed drinks. They use fresh pressed juices for all their Agua Frescas and mocktails, making them absolutely delicious. My recommendation is the Berry Colada, it reminds me of a pink starburst, but way better. One thing to note is this restaurant does NOT do reservations. I HIGHLY recommend someone to come in for the waitlist prior to visiting to avoid a huge wait time, IF you are planning on having a party bigger than 4 people. Especially at night and on the weekends. I have personally ran into an issue there where our party had to wait more than 1 hour even upon calling in advance. Although some minor errors have occurred within my visits, I do encourage patience and empathy as this is a brand new team with lots of new faces to the service industry. Every issue I have ran into was always fixed and followed with a solution. I want to personally shoutout Tuan, Stephen, Melanie, Lucia, Connie and Anthony. They have always made the experience there very welcoming and special. Mike the general manager has a very great team under him, I cannot wait to continue getting tacos here. (Parking for the P&R area offers Free 2 hour parking behind and around Bartaco)

Sesame ribeye taco, guac, ahi tuna tatako, red sangria, pineapple pisco punch

Been here 3 times in 1 week so you could call me a fan. Every single interaction has left me wanting to come back. Food, drinks, vibes, service, music, and atmosphere are immaculate. My list of favorites so far: pork belly tacos, sesame ribeye tacos, sangria. Guac + verde + roja and tuna poke are very solid appetizers, along with the plantains as a good choice. On my list to try next that came highly recommended: chicken verde rice bowl and green margarita! Their drinks are all made with freshly squeezed juice which you can really taste, but both their drinks and desserts are very much on the sweeter side so they're perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth. Shoutout to Gabi and Tuan (forgive me for incorrect spelling), they're awesome!! The service was great every time with multiple people greeting and checking up on us.

Everything was so good. I will be back to this place. Our service was awesome. My favorite was the pork belly top-tier top-tier. Also another favorite was the softshell crab, which is unique to the Pike and Rose location. I also love their drinks. They have different types of margaritas and Mezcal, which I love everything was amazing ambience was not too loud not too quiet. I think they have music playing so good atmosphere overall.

The only thing I would suggest would be a heated up tortilla and meltier cheese on top. Overall most of them were pretty decent! 3.5/5 Chips and sampler was good! I do like the chips tasted freshly made and the guacamole and salsa were great! The queso was decent not my favorite, but it was a good addition to the trio. 4/5 Overall, this place is better than Taco Bamba and what I would compare it to with thier similar fusion flavors. I did appreciate that the restaurant provided plenty of sauces to add some heat to the tacos and beans + rice. The restaurant is a bit small with about eight tables; however, it appeared that most folks there were picking up orders rather than dining in. The cashier and server (the same person) was very nice and had a lot of patience because it took me a while to finally decide what I wanted to eat. Although my meal and margarita were fine, I do not think that I would venture too far out of my way (more than 20+ minutes by car) to specifically dine here.
