They have no compassion towards patients with substance use disorders and would not come to a compromise on anything. Do not come here. Never get my meds on time. Couple nice employees but the rest are rude. I was going fishing in Alaska for three months and they wouldn't fill my meds for that long even though my Dr. prescribed them. Talked down to me as if I was pulling some insurance scam when my insurance wouldn't even cover them and I was paying out of pocket. I am now switching to Walgreens down the street. read more

Zero starts for this pharmacy would be to good. I have been going there for 15+ years. Ever since Rite Aid bought them it keeps getting worse and worse. Today was the last time ever. Their customer service sucks, nobody cares, and they constantly lie about how long it will take to fill. This isn't just a one time occurrence, it is every time. I live about 5min away and went there this morning to drop off and get told they need my ID to just drop off, which I didn't have on me. They say it's a new policy. I go home get my ID and I see a note on the window that states coming soon new policy that you must show ID when picking UP, not dropping off. The punk working the drive through is a complete smart ass and should be fired. Rite Aid SUCKS, no wonder they are in bankruptcy! Update, just picked up my prescription and they didn't even check my ID like the new policy states. What an absolute joke! read more

They used to be better before being bought out by the incompetents who are now filing for bankruptcy. The prices are outrageous but my real gripe is with the pharmacy. They're supposed to be able to handle prescriptions for VA patients. The complete incompetence has me wishing the Bartell family would take it back. This is a new problem with Bartell's in Marysville. I needed needles for my long-acting insulin pens and they wouldn't refill the prescription without approval from my Primary Care Physician. Fair enough, so I emailed the Dr's office and waited.....waited and finally went to the pharmacy. The pharmacist said that he was not filling the Rx because the doctor didn't put in directions on how to use the pen needles and how many to use at a time. I thought he was joking, but no, he wasn't. He had not either called me to let me know that he was not filling the Rx nor did he call the doctor's office to ask them for a new Rx. How were any of us to know? I emailed the physician to rewrite the prescription which delayed me about another week (and several days without insulin). What is going on!! August 2024 read more

It's almost unbelievable that this pharmacy is still open. I can NEVER get ahold of anyone on the phone and the times i have gone in to get assistance i feel like the pharmacist acts like a jerk. Worst pharmacy ever! The male pharmacist is condescending and I just got out of oral surgery. They sent my prescription in at 4:30. Drove from my dental office in prime traffic from Seattle to Marysville so I can pick up my pain meds. They didn't have it ready I asked if I can get it asap. They told me it would be an hr. I told them I was in pain and it should have been filled already. I just got surgery done. Pain meds they game me and numbness going away. They were no help. The cashier was helpful. He tired to ask them if they can they kept say they can't and he was going to send my prescription back to the doctor. He threatened me by saying I won't get my meds. I read all the reviews and seems like everyone is having the same issue with this pharmacy! Go elsewhere. read more

Very rude checker today at Noon time that insulted me talking to another customer & transferred me to pharmacy 1/2 hour earlier when I called to ask very simple question about stock status in grocery item having nothing to do w pharmacy. Bartell used to be a great pharmacy. They have become very slow and unreliable ever since Rite Aid bought Bartell. Their app and website doesn't work half of the time when you request a refill. My last prescription took 5 days to fill from the time I requested it. I feel bad for the people that do work in their pharmacy because they are severely understaffed and mismanaged. I want my locally owned reliable pharmacy back. Unfortunately this Bartell continues to get worse as time goes by. I'm looking for a new pharmacy if anyone has recommendations. read more

As someone in the Healthcare field, this pharmacy is a disgrace. Helping someone obtain their medications for 3 days and no resolve. They have no idea how their system works. Lines are long, drive thru closed, phone goes to voicemail, which is full. After the second time trying to pick up the medications, we were told they are "difficult to fill" which is odd because these are very common meds and told to go home and wait for a text. Insurance information was offered prior to leaving and we were told it was not necessary until pick up. We were home 3 minutes before a text request comes through needing insurance information. You can't text it and they don't answer the phone. Back to the store we go. Then we are told they cannot fill after 3 days as they do not accept the insurance. Back home, search pharmacies associated with plan and Bartells is the first to pop up. Soooo yeah, they are totally and completely incompetent...we will be going elsewhere after this nightmare. Oh and good luck transferring prescriptions, the new pharmacy cannot even get ahold of them to transfer. Ridiculous, putting people at risk of complications by not providing their meds in a timely fashion. read more

in person the floor employees and cashiers are lovely. the pharmacy however is another story. they never answer the phone or respond to calls, and we usually wind up having to visit the location in order to gain assistance. the pharm staff hardly acknowledge me when I am physically in front of them, either. I enjoy how close the store is to my neighborhood but it is frustrating especially when my medication is necessary in order for me to maintain a happy and healthy way of living. read more

Overall the people tend to be friendly, but I've been told multiple times that my prescriptions are ready only to drive all the way over and find out that they're not. I've also been told the wrong information multiple times and it gets frustrating. The drive-through is also exceptionally slow. One time no one was at the window and I sat there for a few minutes before anyone even bothered to check if a car was there. read more

We have been going to this pharmacy for almost 10'years and this will be the last pick up at this pharmacy. As a previous person posted - the phone system is horrible. Use the phone system for a refill told it would be ready at 3 pm yesterday. Husband goes to pick up tonight and it wasn't filled. Told that I should have called and talk to a person to refill.... When the phones work then maybe. Then tech got really snippy with me. So over 36 hours after it was promised it still isn't ready. Blamed the online system then blamed the quantity in the que and then blamed being short staffed. If this was the first time that this happened I would be more patient. But this is the new norm. Just unacceptable. read more

I love going to Bartell, not only for certain necessities but for the employees themselves. I have been a customer almost since the store opened, and continue to be a customer even tho it is quite a distance and there are many other drug stores much closer. The sales people that work in pharmacy are phenomenal. Each seems to take a personal, genuine caring for everyone I see come in, and that includes myself. They have gone way beyond being cashiers, and have been helpful in all capacities, knowledgeable, will confirm any questions with the pharmacist who will then discuss any problems with the "patient." While each one who works in the store is special, those in the pharmacy often greet people by name and a big smile. I'm afraid of missing someone's name if I list their names, but each is like a guardian angel. Great variety of quality items for sale in an "everything you need to get by" tidy, clean atmosphere, a heck of really nice store that I would recommend to anyone!! read more

I recently moved to Marysville and started going to the store on 64th St NE. So far I've had to fill 5 prescriptions and each time has been a hassle. The first time I picked up a prescription I was told it would be done at 4. I went in and waited 35 minutes. Then the pharmacist came out to talk about my medicine while eating a sandwich. The next time I came to get a prescription for my son. One of the cashiers was helping someone at the drive through window and after assisting him said to me "the idiot didn't even know the birthdate!" I'm not sure why she needed to be rude about another customer. On Thursday I dropped off a prescription from my husband and was told it would be three hours before it could be ready! Really? I dropped it off at 11 in the morning. When i returned to get it 3 hours later it wasn't ready. Well today was the last straw. I went to get my prescription. I arrived with both of my kids for my prescription that I called ahead and made sure was ready. I was told "the phone system told you noon, so it will be ready at noon." I got there at 12:59. It wasn't ready. I was told to return in an hour for a prescription I had called in the afternoon before! This was never my experience at the Bartells in Bothell that I used for 8 years. This is an absolute disaster of a pharmacy where the employees are unprofessional and can't work in a timely manner. read more

Do not use this pharmacy. I pick up meds for a client every week and it is extremely rare that they do not make any mistakes. The male pharmacist has a very condescending way of speaking to patients and we struggle to get the meds refilled each time. I repeat: do not choose this pharmacy. read more

I've been going to this Bartell's for years, but today is the exception to otherwise stellar service and staff. Most customers and all of the staff except one female employee were wearing masks and gloves. I mentioned this to the checker when I got to the counter, thanking him for being so conscientious and adding how surprised I was to see this 1 employee not wearing protection. she was standing to the side of where I was checking out and in a very loud, deliberately rude voice said, "last time I checked this is America and I have just as much right to not wear a mask as you do to wear on". I tried to say that it wasn't about her rights it was the responsibility to protect others, but she was having none of that. I was so embarrassed and humiliated. Thank goodness the checker working with me asked her to take the next people in line. I find it shocking and so disappointing that an employee would become rude and obnoxious to a customer like that. I wasn't even talking to her, when she butted in with her rude comments. If this woman is going to serve the public at this time then she needs to respect the safety of others. it will be some time before i consider returning to this store. Sadly. read more

The customer service knows no end at Bartells, if they don't stock over the counter or behind the counter pharmaceuticals that you need they will try to special order it. Besides their over the top and all around great attitudes Bartells has just made the new wine addition to the store and I, personally love it. read more

I have never been treated so well at a pharmacy, and I am one of 'those' customers. I've used all of the big chains over the years and they have left me suspicious and jaded about pharmacies and pharmacists. Because of this, I am almost shocked at the level of care and concern shown to me by the staff here. Never an issue-- never. Once I showed up hours early to get a prescription (my fault), and they apologized and told me it was just being delivered and might be a little wait. I wandered around for like three minutes before they called my name. At walgreens, a 'wait' is like a day or two. Very convenient location for anyone in SE Marysville. The store is always in pretty good shape, and seldom is there a long wait for the lines. The only problem with this location is that there is not much else around, so I usually end up still having to travel to complete my shopping list. read more
