The winning briefcase!
Melissa B.

Came in to browse, when asked whether I was looking for anything in particular I threw out the first thing on my mind- a vintage briefcase. They had 5 to choose between, all in impeccable condition and at a very reasonable price.

Great space to hang out with friends and grab a drink. You can find vintage items here and chill vibe. They have old games to play too! The owners are super friendly!

Such a fun unique and cool place! A lot of DIY punk fun stuff & it's all in house. It's perfect for people who enjoy keeping money local and not to big corporations!!

Barter Beer + Mall in Las Vegas' Arts District is a laid-back spot where you can sip a Busch beer or White Claw lol while browsing vintage finds, local art, and quirky collectibles. The focus is on supporting creative, local businesses, making it a hub for eclectic treasures. A somewhat hidden spot with great vibes and friendly people --perfect for anyone who loves artsy, relaxed shopping.

You have to check this place out if you haven't yet. An amazing selection of vintage and handmade goodies, impressive beer selection, and cool social/event space right in the arts district!

I got prosecco and my partner got Pinot noir from the happy hour and tbh they were delicious. My partner drinks wine more often than me (I hate the dry taste of wine lol) but I wanted to come to try something new. We ordered the Waffle and Caviar, Sausage Roll, Brushetta from the happy hour and the Chef's Tasting board. The Waffle and Caviar was super flavorful! The touch of masago was 10/10 paired with the waffle and cream sauce! Ugh my fav truly. Next we got the Brushetta and my partner loved it. He said the tomatoes were delicious and paired well with the bread and sauce it was marinated with. I did try a bite even though I'm a tomato hater but man you can tell the tomatoes were fresh. I had a piece with no tomatoes because I loved whatever was on top as whatever the tomatoes were marinated in! Next came the Sausage Rolls and man were they delicious paired with their homemade cheese dip! I don't think I'd get again because it's quite heavy with the wine but def glad I tried. Lastly was the Chef's Tasting Board... this was so good. You could tell the cheese and meats were fresh and paired very well all together. The main star for me for that platter was the bread dipped in that garlic butter balsamic + oil... ugh delicious. I can't wait to get the membership and go back.

Today, I arrived around 3:00 PM and asked for an inside table for six. I was told there would be an event at 5:00 PM and that we couldn't stay because she couldn't "a bunch of screaming babies there". I told her we would be in-out within the hour and she still suggested I leave! My baby wasn't fussing, she was peaceful inside her bassinet stroller! I left feeling unwelcome, the place was absolutely dead. The only customers were sitting at the bar. As a new mom, it's already challenging enough, and being refused service because I have a stroller was disheartening. I definitely won't return. We went somewhere else, finished by 4:00 pm and my baby slept! If you aren't going to be child friendly, FINE -- put out a sign so moms know not to come here for dinner.

I don't want you to know about this place except for the fact that it is so well done in so many…read moreways that I want it to succeed so here's the scoop: If you're a wino, this is your place. An oenophile, of course. A foodie (even though there is no food other than what you wish to bring in), ditto. Shannon and company have put together my ideal wine bar. The selections-- Ever evolving, classic styles to low intervention, as long as it is in service to the grape juice, that's what you'll find. Take a moment to listen to what they can tell you about the offerings, which come by the bottle, glass and 3 x half glass flights. A large room with various types of seating areas (including a private area) for different group sizes and feels, including a u shaped bar. Almost like a coffee shop but very modern and sleek. You can see much of the cellar as well. Now I only know Garagiste as a frequent visitor to Las Vegas but each time I'm there, there are locals picking up their wine club selections or hanging out. The soundtrack for me is great (heavy on 90's/2000/2010's adult alternative). And each time, I find one it two surprises. There's a Happy Hour which discounts glasses (plus you get a nice skewer of manchego and chorizo). So head to the Arts District (where you'll find lots of great everything) and experience a great wine drinking time.

It came with a free nibble of cheese and sausage. The manchego offered was delicious and a nice accompaniment to the wine. Since we were the only ones there, it was a little too quiet for us...but will give this place another try later in the evening next time we are in the Arts District. Husband appreciated that they also offer beer so he didn't have to get wine. I'd recommend this place for a first stop before heading to dinner in the area. Parking is relatively easy if you don't plan on being a lush for the evening. Ha! Extensive wine list at all price ranges. Beautiful modern decor.

I honestly thought it wouldn't be enough but they were consistent about bringing out item after item. The place itself is beautiful on the inside and the drinks were good. If I wasn't driving I would've gotten the bottomless brunch option. The only issue for me (which wasn't really an issue) is that we had a reservation but we still had to wait about an hour to get sat down. Also, since it's in a hotel, the only bathroom was outside of the restaurant so we kept having to get out and walk out to use the restroom. Not a huge deal but just worth mentioning.

It wasn't that crowded but the service was really slow, we had to bring our check to the bar to pay because we couldn't get the servers attention. We saw a lot of staff just standing around. Also it took a while for most of the hot food to be passed to our table. Most of the items we wanted, we had to ask for. Only the parfaits, sausage and bacon, and waffles came by frequently. The chilaquiles, eggs Benedict (which was meh) and all the other items that looked good, were had to ask for. I def would not come back.
