I want to start off by saying DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY especially if you are a black person. They are racist towards you. my father ordered a door and they rescheduled one of the appointments that they were supposed to come out and put the door up because they did not have the door. The day the technician comes out at eight in the morning and we start cleaning our things out of the garage so he could have a pathway. He said he will be back in three hours after taking the old door down because he had another job to do and also was giving us time to finish up. Three hours went by and we started to get worried that he wasn't coming back to finish the job. My dad called Bartlett garage doors number multiple times and they didn't answer. We tried to go to the address and could not find it.. So my sister and I called and got in contact with one of the ladies from the office. She told us that his location at the job that he was doing and she would tell him that we're ready . He finally shows up around 6 o'clock and he said we needed to move a little bit more so he could get on the sides.. So we do that and as we're doing that he says he's going to get a bite to eat and he'll be back. Time passes by and I decided to call the place again even though they were going to close because we needed our door put up. The lady answers my phone call and I ask her if he's coming back and she laughs in my face and says he went home so I he said he was going to get a bite to eat and she was laughing again and said well maybe he decided to go and get a bite to eat and then go home. So now I go and give my dad the phone to talk to the lady and she kept insisting that it was our fault and that we were lying about the man saying that he was going to get a bite to eat, and he was going to come back to do the door. The customer service is very bad and they do not believe in discounts, even though this was their fault for leaving us without a door for our garage and we have valuables in our garage. Instead of trying to compensate you with a discount or anything the only other option is for them to come back in the morning. They do not believe that they're wrong in any situation instead they blame you, try to make you the bad person and try to gaslight you. All they want is money. read more

This company did my garage door, and I was somewhat happy. The door they installed worked, but the key pad I had them instal on the exterior of the garage so our house keeper could access our home without an opener never worked. Nonetheless, I have referred them a lot of business. I also have automatic gates. When my gates stopped working, I called BGD. They sent a technician who worked on the control panel for 40 minutes. Before he left my house, he told me he had ordered a part. He said he hoped he could pick it up the same day he was at my house. It has been two months, and I have been trying to get in touch with them on a regular basis with no success. I have received two return phone calls, which I could not answer because I was in meetings at work, but I have called them 25 times and received two return calls. For two weeks straight, I called them every morning on my way to work. I even started leaving messages for a return call as I left work in the evening. They charged me for a technician visit, but they lied to me. They took my money for a service call and never ordered any parts. They are dishonest and do not act in good faith. They return your call quickly when they are taking your money. Once they have your money, they lie to you and ignore you. My best advice is to pay a little more and hire a reliable company. BUYER BE WARE! Between the key pad that never worked and my gates, they basically ripped me off for over $300. Do not be a fool. Pay another company a little more than they charge so you can trust them. read more

Bartlett Garage Doors came out to look at my garage door and repaired it for the cost is the service charge ($85), whereas another garage door company quoted me over $750 to repair the door. I will always have them at the top of my list to call for any problems in the future. read more

My experience started off good but went downhill quickly. At install the 3rd party tech did not run new wires, opting to use the existing 20+ year old wiring, the door rails were loose so the door made more noise than it should... after he was done, I noticed one of the panels had a dent in it so I called and they sent someone out to take photos and said they would get it replaced and fix the loose rails. Also the wall control button would lose power when pressed, they also agreed to replace it. A month went by so I called to get an update, there was no answer and the VM was full. This happened almost every time I called but I was able to get thru to them about 10% of the time. Every time I was able to speak with them they said they were going to check on it and get back to me... however they never called back. It has now been 14 months since this was installed and they have not been back once nor have they called me back with an update. read more

So I'm not really sure where to start... This has been the worst experience with a service company in my entire life, which says a lot honestly. We got these garage doors installed and 4 months later the motor stopped working. So, we weren't worried because we had a warranty! Unfortunately when we contacted them they never come or respond. After over a dozen times of being promised that someone would come out, time and time again we have been stood up. 1 star because they showed on time. I spoke with the office giving the size of my spring and asking if they had the parts. They said yes. The next morning, Friday, I received an advance call giving me a 20 minute notice that they were on their way. The tech arrived, shoved a big wad of snuff in his lip, walked into my house and proceeded to lift and continue to spit his snuff in my garbage can that was locked in my garage, releasing odors into a room that a door would not open in and well, just spitting his nasty snuff in my garage garbage can while working. Maybe someone needs to teach their techs manners, especially when doing residential work! He then spent 35 minutes on the phone and told me he didn't have the part and it could be two weeks before they could get it. I was then told I would receive a call back from the office about definite timing...which of course I never received. This company failed big time!!! Called the office to get a quote for a door opener installed and asked if I could get installed today. They were able to fit me in the schedule and was done the same day. No up-sell just installation. The quote was the final price. Very happy. Would have taken me several hours by myself. They were done in less than 45min. and works fine. read more

#1 - basically impossible to get them on the phone or return calls. Didn't even show up the first time I scheduled them. I should've seen the red flag. #2 - charged $75 for a 5 minute "tune up" - which didn't fix the problem #3 - diagnosed the problem incorrectly, and said it was unable to be repaired and would require ANOTHER $375 to replace the motor #4 - called another company, and within 1 hour, the motor was repaired and working perfectly for $150. read more

I am so sorry I chose this company to replace my 91 year old mother's garage door remote controls. I thought this was a larger, more professional company, They do have a small store front office with a young girl who knew as much as I did about garage doors working there. I purchased 3 remote controls from her for $135.00 dollars but could only get one remote to program at a time. Called back and they came the next day and $75,00 later I had all three remotes and an older one programmed, The following day neither the inside wall mount button or the outside wall mount button would work. I spoke with Elisha (who, from the child crying in the background sounded to me as if she is working out of her kitchen.) She was very pleasant and sent the same guys back over who said we must replace the entire unit for another $365.00. When I got back to my Mother's that day the inside wall button no longer worked and the light does not come on with the new opener. I have spoken to Elisha about 7 times on different days since then, She keeps telling me she is checking on getting a new inside button but never calls me back. $575.00 later I have less garage door opener than when I first made the mistake of calling this company. She did not answer or return my call today. Call someone else because if you have a problem Bartlett Garage Doors will not help. read more

They were attentive and even coordinated the work into the late hours to guarantee the correct door with options (surge protector, belt drive, & weather strip) were installed. They came out within an hour of me calling to measure and give s quote. Set up install for a couple of days later. They were late and didn't bother to call and let me know they were running g behind. I had to call and was told they would be there in another hour to an hour and a half. Still weren't there at that new time and no phone call once again. Finally showed up 2 hours and 45 minutes after original appointment time. Didn't take them long to get the door installed. Just poor customer service read more

I called Friday morning and spoke with a woman, I think her name was either Alisha or Felicia. I told her my situation with my garage door. She told me someone would be out between 12pm and 1pm. I told her the later the better was fine with us. We waited around all afternoon and evening. No phone call, no show. Oh well, I guess my situation was not important. After waiting over 2 months on a quote.. 3 weeks on an install date.. I take off work for the install bc someone has to be here and low and behold no one ever shows up... I text at 1030, no response... call at 1130, no answer, or call back... call again at 1145 no answer... immediately call back and finally get an answer and am told that they will call me back in 10 min... text again at 1240 bc I still have not received a call back... finally get a response at 1255 that they had a problem picking up the doors that have supposedly been on hold for 3 weeks and they are trying to find a solution.. it is now after 430 and I have been presented with nothing, not so much as a "sorry"... I lost an entire days work for nothing and they have made no effort to solve their mistake at all... I would never recommend this company to anyone! EVER!!! read more
