My husband brought me here in October 2021 (during peak leaf change) and the experience was ok. Disappointed the breakfast was closed due to Covid but we improvised and restaurants in Conway were reopened. The room (cabins to the right of the main house) was a little rough but we still enjoyed our stay. We were upgraded because the room we had booked was unusable for some reason. October 2022 we stayed in the smallest cabin they had and our heat source was a plug in heater. The mattress and pillows were literally as hard as a rock. Good thing we brought camo chairs because there was no where to sit. October 2023 we stayed in the same cabin as 2021 and the room was a wreck. No blinds in the room (I used a blanket) no towels and cobwebs everywhere. Filthy for a $150+ a night room. As others have said the bedding looked like it had never been washed. Looked like housekeeping was reduced to a sheet change and a quick sweep of the room. Never going back. read more

I don't give many poor reviews. This is one. I had a reservation at the Bartlett Inn, but was unable to stay due to the fact that my prepaid room ($227) was occupied when I arrived. The only reason I'm giving the location 1 star is because of all the help provided by the housekeeping manager in regards to helping find someplace to stay BECAUSE MY PREPAID ROOM WAS SOLD TO SOMEONE ELSE although I talked to someone from the hotel earlier in the day to confirm my booking prior to my 3.5 hour drive. My room was in the main inn, there are 5 rooms and parking for only 3 cars unfortunately with the motorhome that took up the majority of the small parking lot. In the days of covid this bed and breakfast has no breakfast. Additionally there is no staff and self check in consists of the room door being left open with the room key in the room (allegedly, unfortunately I was not able to experience this). Upon arrival I walked my things up to the third floor which is where my room was, tried the door and it's locked. Knocked on the door and there was no answer. Called the phone number that I had for the hotel and it went to voice mail. No room, nobody to ask about it. A couple happened to be heading out for dinner so I asked them if there was any phone numbers in their room or similar in the event that anything happened and they needed to contact management. Thank goodness there was a number to call. I was able to get in touch with the head of housekeeping. She was super nice and came to the inn to see what was going on. This is when I learned that that there was someone already in my room. This inn was full so out of luck there. They have a second property, The Will's Inn about 4 miles down the road where they were able to put me. I'll review that place separately. It was shared with me that I would receive a full refund for my room, as well as a gift certificate to be used at a later time. Neither of these things happened. Stay away from this place. read more

WARNING...I don't know how this place is still showing up on Yelp with 4 1/2 stars but it is an absolute pit. After we checked in I had to look back and noticed all good reviews stopped in 2017. The place is filthy. Stains on pillow cases, comforters...disgusting. Bar soap in bathroom was leftover from last guests, shorted bath towels and just grimey everywhere. Although it took every ounce of courage for me to get into the shower (with no soap, remember...had to use only cheap shampoo that didn't lather) I went in with my socks on. That was a first ever. Check in was about as welcoming as a wet blanket. TV had no signal. Wanted to call the front desk to inquire, no phone in room. Walked over, no one to be found. No ice bucket/ice anywhere, not a Kleenex or box of tissue to be found, and no hair dryer. The grounds were very unkempt. "Makeshift maintenance shed" immediately outside our door. Nice touch. Just gross. Stay away. Breakfast served in the morning...NO WAY we're not heading over there. I wouldn't eat here to save my life. What a shame. We had an amazing day of leaf peeping, a great adventure to ride the Cannon tram at Franconia Notch, a decent meal at Cabin Fever, then to finish up here totally disappointed and disgusted. Our family of 4 (and our pup) spent the night in one of the cottages and we couldn't be happier with the experience. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and roomy for all of us. We arrived early while our room was being cleaned. We ate lunch at the picnic tables, played corn hole, and then hung out on the porch. Amber was polite, helpful and kind. I arrived at the Bartlett Inn on a Friday afternoon to stay at one of the cottages for two nights. We arrived during a time when it was snowing and nothing was shoveled or salted. My friend and myself fell on the property as there was nobody there to help us. The keys were left for us to just get for ourselves. The owner Jeremy of the Bartlett Inn/AHM Properties, LLC spoke time several of my friends and let us know the manager could not get there and he doesn't live on the property. He hasn't been to the property in a while as we found out. The manager Mary said she had car problems. Our cottage and our friends cottages and room at the Inn were filthy. We had one roll of toilet paper and not enough towels. Cords for the appliances were hung on the wall by an extension cord, floors covered in dust and dirt, cob webs everywhere, a fireplace that was never cleaned, blood on the floor in one room, black mold on ceilings and more. The next morning no breakfast was served and the manager never even showed up until around 11am. What we saw was horrific when we met her. She brought trash bags of linens out of her car that she was smoking in and gave them to us. I have horrible allergies and could barely breathe in the cabin to begin with. She had a small dog that she allowed in the kitchen area and when we were in the inn and she left the door open there was trash everywhere. There are health hazards, fire hazards and building issues everywhere. The owner responds only to some people and very sarcastically. He is a lawyer that treats people horrible and tries to intimidate others to not say anything. We had brought in donuts that Saturday since there was no breakfast and guess what the manager put out the next day??!!! Do not eat there. We hope by sharing our experience that others do not have to experience what we did. There was a local person living there in a cabin who kept asking for things. I wish we had read the reviews a little more carefully before booking our stay here. If you look carefully at the dates, you can see that the owners of this inn are riding on the stars of the previous owners (who apparently were awesome). My husband and I arrived on a Friday evening to no staff. We learned later that the inn keeper had left due to the snow storm. Surprising, because: 1. Um...this is New Hampshire. In the winter. The owners specifically list the Inn as a favorite place for skiers. Maybe they were referring to the popular sport of dry-ground skiing? 2. We managed to drive from Massachusetts with no problem. I do wonder if we would have received the courtesy of a refund had we decided the snow storm was too severe to make the trip. But I digress... So after hunting around a bit - and with the help of some other guests - we found an envelope with our name on it and a key to our room. Our room was fine. We did not have any towels, though. Not a huge deal. We were able to find what we needed, but we were shocked by the massive amount of trash and dirty dishes we found during our search. I hope that the owners make a trip up to their inn to see this for themselves. They either need to train their staff better or hire new staff. Because clearly the current inn keeper does not know where the dumpster is located. The following morning we woke to a sunny day with clear roads...but still no staff. Which meant no "delicious homemade breakfast" and worse - no coffee! Gasp! Being the resourceful person he is, my husband solved our first-world problem by driving to the local market and bringing back massive amounts of coffee and donuts to share with our new friends. Apparently the donuts were good enough to share, because we heard the left-overs were served the next morning as well. This place has a lot of potential. Horrible does not even begin to describe our experience here. The staff seemed like they didn't care about the Inn or its guests when we arrived. They were nowhere to be found after we checked in and we needed their help because the TV would turn on but would only display a "no signal" message on the screen. The floor was dirty and the rug looked like it had never seen a vacuum. The shower floor needed a good scrubbing with bleach which appears to be missing from the housekeeping staff supply box. There was no soap for the shower and the soap at the bathroom sink was already opened and used sitting in a dirty soap dish. The furniture in the room had ripped upholstery and looked like the local thrift store rejected it as a donation. The worst part was the dirty and stained bedding! Sheets and comforter that were so disgusting! We removed the comforter and covered the pillows with bath towels that appeared to be clean. We slept on top of the sheets in our clothes. We checked every option for miles and there was no availability so we were stuck here for our scheduled stay. If there was any other option we would have left. I couldn't understand how this Inn had a 4.5 star review when we booked it. I looked back at the reviews and now realize there were many older reviews that mentioned the previous owners. Clearly the new ownership is not maintaining the same level of cleanliness or service today. read more

There was no front office so we were not able to contact anyone after 8pm, so we made a last minute booking and were sent to a room that had not been cleaned yet. We finally got in contact with someone and they apologized and sent us to a second room. It was behind the main building and up a treacherous set of stairs. As soon as we stepped foot inside we noticed the grime on the floors and the mold everywhere. Only after we started moving things around like the blankets and cushions did we see more evidence that the room was no cleaner than the first one. There was also no soap in the bathroom so we could not even begin to feel hygienic. The next morning we woke up to a horrible smell that drove us out of the room immediately. Do not stay here even though it is close to the mountain. It is not worth it. read more

My facility lacked a TV signal, a poor wi-fi connection with NO internet, not a single electrical outlet in the bedroom or bathroom. The cheapest of everything in facilities and decor. My fiance and I were supposed to stay here back in June. We contacted the owner the day before we was supposed to go and he advised us that they had no electricity. First of all thank God that we called him because we never would have known if we didn't contact him. We did book through Expedia we've been trying to get our refund back for months and we're not able to get our refund back because they're not able to get a hold of the owner of this in. He never answers the phone it's always voicemail and he never calls anybody back. Just for this reason alone I would recommend nobody staying here and what sucks is you have to give them a star read more

First let me start by saying I have never met nicer people, from the time I made the reservations to the time we left after surprising my husband for his 60th birthday because all he wanted was to be with his family especially his grandchildren. I made reservations for three separate cottages, we all had a dog and they are very dog friendly. I have always been concerned about dog friendly places because some can have that "dog odor" as soon as you walk in but this place was very clean and no smells at all. The pool was clean, everything was local if you forgot anything, and one of the best parts was that "breakfast was included". That is rare to find in a cottage environment but it was delicious and once again I cannot say enough about the staff. Just spent the weekend here with my husband and our dog and we had a blast! The owners are great with offering helpful suggestions on everything from best restaurants to best trails to hike. The rooms are small, but very well kept. We felt at home instantly. They're also on a great location right between Bear Notch xcountry skiing and Attitash ski resort with their own trail through the woods to a snowmobile trail which was great to hike at night with the dog. We'll definitely look to book again here in the spring time for trail running and hiking. read more

When I arrived at the Bartlett inn, I had to shovel my way into my cabin. In addition to this, I had to shovel my friends way into their cabins as well because I was the first to arrive. When I entered my cabin it smelled like cat urine. I immediately had to spray body spray to cope with stench!!! I also made a pot of coffee to disguise the stench but the kitchen faucet made a bang sound and stopped working. Surprisingly it did come on later. I had no internet or cable most of the weekend. He blamed the weather but other businesses nearby restaurant had cable up and running. I only had one roll of toilet paper, no extra towels, and my blanket smelled like a sweaty, dirty old man! Dust and cob webs everywhere! My father was a fire fighter so I know from experience there were way too many extension cords. I fell on the ice twice! Maybe I should have called an ambulance because my knee is still swollen from the incident.. I tried to get a partial refund , but he declined me because my friends wrote negative but 1000% truthful and accurate reviews.. and I was told I can't have refund because I was part of their party! Really? Can it get any worse than that? I will never stay Bartlett Inn again and let everyone know. The owner lies and claims he will refund you but when it comes down to it he never does. read more

Apparently they didn't change the sheet at all. We keep calling the phone number listed on the office and website till mid night, all went to the voicemail. If I could give it negative stars, I would. The place was advertised as a two bedroom but was barely one. The room was filthy and had dust and mold everywhere. There were junk cars, broken furniture and trash strewn about the overgrown property. We left immediately and asked for our money refunded. They couldn't pay me to stay there. Unfortunetaly, this inn was very diasappointing. To start, there was a For Sale sign up as you drive in so that was not a good sign. The grounds were very unkept and there was a lot of "outdoor storage" going on, including many unregistered vehicles, laundry baskets etc. & just misc. items strewn about. There was no notice in any of the communication but the pool had clearly been closed for years and there was no breakfast as was advertised. Our room was "upgraded" at the last minute which was unfortunate because I had intended for my husband and I to have a private cabin. We were switched to a two level building. As you may have guessed, the guests above us were NOT quiet & the walls were not soundproofed in any way. The bathroom had all the contents of the previous guests, including used soaps in the shower, a left behind razor and clearly nothing had been even wiped down. The bed DID appear to have "clean" sheets but we dicovered a large plastic bag of "new" sheets in the bedroom drawers that we assume were just put on the bed without washing. The rug was covered in dog hair (this was supposed to be a No Dogs Allowed" room) among others things. The fridge was filthy and when we entered, the AC was on full blast but all the windows had all been left open (perhaps unnoticed because all the blinds were pulled shut). There may be other details but I think this is enough to get the point across, please do not waste your money here, it will not be a relaxing stay. Clearly, whoever owns/runs this place is not reinvesting. I understand if, as a business, there is not enough profit for updating the spaces but a few cleaning supplies and AT LEAST a clean room, would go a long way. read more

I wish I had the opportunity to stay there. 2 days prior to my girls trip my dad fell and entered hospice and my daughter fell and broke her ankle. Both on the same day. It was a bad day. The innkeeper, while he said he was sorry and praying for us, would not allow me to roll my deposit to another weekend. I never asked for a refund. Just wanted to use it when my dad passed and daughter healed. My husband called and explained to him we could send hospital data to show we weren't making it up (wish I was). Nope. I get it. Stay away from this place, please don't waste your money. We arrived at 4pm to our cabin but to our surprise it was already occupied. We called the number that we found on the main building of the inn, they closed everything because of covid so you have to call or text for everything, got a hold of Dan and he told us to go to an other cabin but all of them where not cleaned yet....he did upgrade us to a bigger cabin eventually (that was the only food thing about this whole thing) but we had to drive around and wait for an hour before it was cleaned and it was 10 degrees out. When we finally got into the cabin it was so so so cold inside that we kept our jackets, hats and gloves on. The heating is so horrible and to be honest dangerous. We were cold the whole time when we where in the cabin. And please don't think about cooking because the kitchenette has nothing. 1 pan and some plates and bowls and thatvis about it. The bathtub leaked like crazy, the TV was in the kitchen, the place is falling apart for sure. Run down and dirty. And they take advantage of the whole covid situation for sure. Awful and disgusting! STAY AWAY!!!! I booked through Orbitz and wow! What a misrepresentation of the property! I booked for one night and property was hard to find. It didn't help that we had no service at all in the area. I called the Inn and Jeremy answered when I got service to ask for directions. When I finally found the property , which btw, was assured that was ready and clean for us and that the keys would be on the second floor, I was taken aback! The property is so run down and almost looks abandoned! I go to the second floor to see my room and get keys. No keys and room door open. It was a mess! Beds unmade, bed broken, trash everywhere , bathroom filthy with wet dirty towels in floor and more trash! I tried calling property manager, but despite their WiFi password, still had no service! Took a number down for cleaning service that was there and went off in my car AGAIN, to get service. Called property manager about 10 times and he would not answer. I called from my husband and daughters cell phones and after an hour of being in the side of the road, after a 2 and a half hour ride up there( not counting the two hours trying to get a hold of them , I left a message again, but this time from another persons phone and said I would like a call back because I was interested in a room. Bam! Just like that, I got a call back! Only because he thought I was someone else! Jeremy said that I could get my full refund if I called orbitz and they gave him his commission and then he would give me my money back! Full refund! Well, guess what? The refund DID NOT happen! I will continuously call until I get a refund! I had to drive around some more to try and find a property that had vacancy. Finally, at almost 8pm by then, I found a room at a motel! Wasted day! I took pictures and will try to post them! BEWARE OF THIS PROPERTY AND MANAGEMENT! It's a horrible and filthy place with owners that do not care about guests! Just money! I suggested to Orbitz that they drop them off their site because staying there would be equivalent as staying in an alley on a dirty mattress you find on the road! I hope to God I get my refund ! We ended up at the Bartlett Inn completely by mistake - we had plans (and tickets) to ski at Waterville Valley, and a hotel website listed them as being 12 miles away (it's 70). Nevertheless, we had a wonderful stay. I am particular about beds owing to a crotchety back, and the bed in the Langdon cottage was terrific. Even better was the hospitality offered by Nick and Miriam. Nick took care to review local dining options when we arrived, late and hungry. When we returned from dinner and entered our room, it was warm and cozy from being pre-heated. Despite being just off the road, the room was quite and clean. I have dog allergies, and would never have guessed it is a pet-friendly hotel. We did not try the wifi so can't comment on it. Breakfast the next morning was prompt and delicious: eggs made to order, sausage or bacon, and fresh fruit, coffee, and juice. I think we will try Attitash next trip, and stay with Miriam and Nick again. read more

Stayed aug 1-3. Nothing liked pictured. Booked the deluxe cottage. Was supposed to be 1 queen and 2 twins. Got 1 full and a cot. Managment doesn't answer the phone and no one on the premises. No toilet paper, hand soap or any other basic amenities. No cell reception. Wifi is spotty. No landlines. Pool was closed. No breakfast but was included in the price. No batteries in smoke detector. I'm not going to get overly wordy here. I'll just say that if you want to stay near North Conway, with the feeling of being in the middle of nowhere, stay here!! Nick & Miriam are so great to chat with, and they have great ideas for dinner, depending on your tastes. I personally highly recommend dinner at "White Mountain Cider Co" and breakfast at "Upstairs Cafe" in N. Conway. If you like great beer, swing by "Moat Mountain Brewing". Try the nachos. The little cottages at Bartlett Inn are cozy, and clean. I would definitely go back again! read more

My husband and I just got back from two incredible days at the Bartlett Inn. Nick and Miriam were incredibly welcoming and very interesting- great conversations! We had a cottage with a wood fireplace, claw-foot tub and a kitchenette- very clean, very quiet, really, really nice. There are trails behind the inn to hike/ski on- we had a big snowstorm while there and had a great time tromping the woods with our dog. A hotel/inn/B&B should be two things. Clean and safe. This place fails on both accounts miserably, and shame on me for not reading the reviews ahead of time. The poor recent reviews (after change in management) don't begin to describe how truly disgusting this place is. There was no one there to greet us when we arrived, which is fine, we're all adults, however, no one had bothered to clear the sidewalks to allow safe entry into our rooms. The owner said the roads were bad and they couldn't get there. No kidding! We all managed to drive 4-6 hours to arrive, and we had to shovel paths. They didn't have any salt or other de-icing materials to allow safe walking, and several of us fell on the ice. Yes, as the owner will tell you, this is winter in New Hampshire. However, no other local business seemed to have this issue, as they all seemed capable of clearing the sidewalks for their customers and guests- As if they valued their business and safety. You would think that if you knew you were having 10 guests, you would make an effort to show up and ensure safety. In addition, there were exposed wires throughout the property, extension cords hooked up to various items, and a front door knob that was falling off. Good thing one of us had a screwdriver to repair it, since clearly no one else would. The big issue however is the complete disregard for cleanliness. I couldn't tell you the last time any of the rooms were cleaned, as dust, mold, hair, old food, and even blood were found in our rooms. I spent the entire weekend coughing (dust and mold allergies!). We thought we were going to have a cozy quaint New England weekend. Being outdated is one thing, and part of the charm of a B&B, but this place is simply filthy. It is shocking that it hasn't been shut down. One of us called to say that there was no heat- yes, she was offered an "upgrade" but I'm not sure what you can upgrade to when all rooms are cringeworthy. We would have gone somewhere else, but when you pay over $200 a night to stay, we didn't want to waste even more money. It's a good thing no one showed up to cook us breakfast (despite this being a bed and breakfast!) because you couldn't pay me to eat there. When we called the owner to share our concerns, after being defensive and condescending towards several members of our group (as he is in all of his responses to reviews) he offered us a free future night. I would be crazy- and you should too- to step foot on that property. It's really too bad the owner has such little disregard for this property and his guests. Ask yourself- Can it really be that bad? This place is great. We've been here twice and wouldn't hesitate to come visit again. Nick is super friendly and helpful. The rooms and cottages are pretty big for a B&B and are very clean. We were traveling across NH late one night and found them through yelp or a GPS. Our phone was cutting out and in. On one call, they offered us a cottage with two bedrooms, which would have been ideal. On the next call we could get through, they hung up and on a different phone they said that the office was closed. Their misbehavior and if they are an inn (like their name) rudeness, quite literally put our lives (very slightly) at risk as we had to find a room and drive later and sleep more poorly (which can be seen as health and medical risks). If they are more a bnb, then, almost fair dues. But if they are inn, and at 11 pm they say that the front desk is closed, repeatedly, then they are on my sh*t list. 2 stars because 11 pm may be a special time in NH (I'm quite serious) and our phone reception annoyed us and perhaps them. read more

This place is nasty! Please count his review as 0 stars!!!!! The impression I get is that something happened to this place since about 2017 and it's quality nose-dived. So when you read the other reviews, pay attention to the date of the review. I wish I had. I don't know how to run a hotel but I do know what clean is. This place is filthy!! Even the front porch is filthy. As soon as I saw the front porch I knew we were in trouble. There was a rotted railing post. The storm door handle was about ready to fall off. The inside wasn't any cleaner than the front porch. This place is run by amateurs or by people who really don't care at all about their inn or their guests. There is no desk, it's just a dutch door and no indication as to where to check in. The lady that checked us in was nice enough. She gave us the key, directed us to our room (room #4) and told us that they served a full complimentary breakfast in the morning that we had to sign up for on the clipboard laying on the table. I know she must have been able to read the look on my face that said "I'm not gonna eat anything cooked here." There was dirt and dust on the stairs going up to our room. No vacuum has touched those stairs in a long time. The door to our room didn't close all the way when shut. If it wasn't for the deadbolt, it would have just stayed dislodged the entire time. There was dirt and dust and dead bugs in the corners on the floor. There was even a used contact lens on the floor by the bed. The first thing my wife did was check for clean sheets; they looked clean and like they had been changed, so she was satisfied with that. The room was incredibly small. We had to turn sideways to pass by each other. There was a window air conditioner that worked well but there was about a half inch gap between the bottom of the unit and the window that I'm sure let in the bugs that died on the floor. The shade on that window wouldn't pull down. There were two windows in the room (on different walls) and for some reason, instead of having a set of curtains on each window, they had split a set of curtains between the windows. So each window had one curtain panel that did not even cover the window. The door to the bathroom wouldn't open all the way because it hit the bed about 3/4 of the way open. It looked like the sink and toilet were fairly new. The shower seemed updated. The carpentry in the bathroom was terrible. There was a huge gap between the drywall and trim that showed the stud. Their work behind the sink left a huge hole in the drywall and the tile work looked like a child had done it. What a mess. And judging by the cleanliness of the rest of the place, we surmised that nothing had been cleaned in this bathroom either. I kept apologizing to me wife and offered several times to just find another hotel. But she hung in there. We had been out hiking earlier, so I decided to take a shower before dinner. I braved the shower. There was a round bar of soap and some shampoo on the cheapest looking shelf (everything in the place wreaks of cheap) next to the toilet. The "soap" was more like sidewalk chalk. It turned the washcloth yellow in a chalky way and not a soapy way. Before we left for dinner we asked the lady at the front desk what time they locked the front door and if our room key would unlock it. She said the front door remains unlocked all the time. We just looked at each other. Ok. When we came back from dinner it was dark outside. We were looking for the inn but the sign in front was unlit so we drove past it. Amateur hour! I have to admit that the bed was comfortable and we got a good night's sleep. Couldn't wait to leave this place the next morning. There was no one at the front "desk" and no instructions as to where to drop keys so I left the key on the door shelf thing. This place could be really nice but it is really not nice. It could be a quaint and charming little inn. The room we stayed in could so easily be very nice - it's just not. The amount we paid for the room we got was outrageous. The owners should be ashamed of themselves. They are incompetent as innkeepers. We checked at the better hotels in the area and could have stayed at any of them for only $20 more. That would have been $20 well spent. I am embarrassed to my wife that I chose this place to take her. I kept thinking "Isn't there some kind of hotel association that inspects these places to make sure they conform to some kind of standard?" If you decide to stay at the Bartlett Inn despite my strongest urging not to, I suggest you bring a mini-vac, duct tape, Chlorox wipes, Lysol spray, your own soap, and one of those forensic black light things they use on CSI. Also, eat breakfast at either Priscilla's in North Conway or at Glen Junction. And no matter where you stay in the area, have dinner at the White Mountain Cider Co restaurant. By the way, Will's Inn is run by the same people and looks just as nasty as the Bartlett Inn. read more

My wife and I love the Bartlett Inn. We stayed there for two nights during a whirlwind tour of New England one winter only because of the location and they are pet friendly (our border collie loves to hike too). We were so pleased with the experience we planned a trip the following year to spend a week just there. The location is perfect to explore all that the White Mts has to offer in outdoor fun. The possibilities for hiking, snowshoeing and cross country skiing are endless. And Nick knows every trail, hut, view and hidden gem in the area. His knowledge is amazing. He also knows every ski slope and restaurant in the area (and how to get you in). Amazingly helpful. I have never seen an innkeeper more attentive in all of our travels! Absolutely first rate. The breakfasts are very good. The property is excellent. The hot tub is a great way to warm up after a long day of snow shoeing through the mountains. Cabins all have fireplaces that warm the place up quickly. We cannot wait to go back. Next time though we may try a summer stay to see how all the hiking and exploring goes sans snowshoes and six layers of thermal gear! We are already looking forward to it! read more

Very nice weekend spent at this very cozy and clean Inn. Great for dog lovers who enjoy taking Fido on their vacations. Staff was all very friendly and I especially enjoyed the wait staff at breakfast. They even sang happy birthday to my Dad and lit candles on his breakfast plate. Very warm and welcoming to my two young children. Great play area for kids and very nice heated pool. Very convenient to downtown North Conway shops etc. Hopefully next year we will return and include Storyland into our time there. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Jeremy and Allison neglect their guests. Absent owners. Place was filthy. Breakfast was not hot. Coffee? Bring your own cup. Sheets? Dirty. Place has gone downhill since Jeremy and Allison took over as owners. 4 pm checkin? No. They won't even be on the property. Good luck tracking them down. Look at any review since the new ownership (~2018) and all one star...They should not be in the business. read more

I haven't been to the White Mountains since I was about 5 and I really wanted to experience it the way it should be experienced: relaxation at its fullest potential. I didn't want to spend my time in some random motel or some heap of a place with 'New Hampshire country' charm. There were plenty of choices for the No. Conway area, right smack in the middle of the White Mountains but the Bartlett Inn had a lot of potential just by judging from its website and my first phone call with the owner Nick. This place is as close as it gets to a REAL bed and breakfast. From my phone conversations with the owner Nick and my arrival there at 10pm on a Friday night, the exceptional customer service was nothing less than, well, exceptional. I felt right at home and as if Nick and Miriam, co owners, were long lost family of mine. They treated me and my boyfriend with such warmth and hospitality and did not hesitate to offer their knowledge of their favorite local places to eat, great locations to hike, etc. The inn and cottages themselves had such country charm and it just melted all your everyday stresses away and couldn't resist to make you relax. Our cottage came with a wood fireplace, a queen size bed, full bathroom with whirlpool tub, kitchenette, and cable television; it was its own little house. As my boyfriend said, "I could live here, it has everything we need!" The hot, homemade breakfast, thanks to Miriam, was fantastic and 'homemade'; not just muffins and fruit like most places. I cannot stress enough the exceptional customer service we were treated to by Nick and Miriam. They really cared about our stay and wanted us to have the best experience possible. We absolutely loved The Bartlett Inn!! The rooms are clean and cute and the pool and playset are nice too. The best parts are the owners and the breakfast! The owners are fabulous and a wealth of knowledge on the area! The breakfasts are soooooooooooooooooo good!!!!!!! The Inn is central the pretty much everything so it is very convenient!
