I found this place on Google maps while I was planning my drive back home from Maine to Canada, and I'm glad I booked to stay a night here! Excellent B&B in Campton. The owners, Troy and Christina, were very friendly and provided clear communication prior to check-in. I was lucky to meet them on arrival as I got there a few minutes early before check-in. Otherwise, you will be provided with instructions on how to find your rooms in their email communication and the instructions on the chalkboard in the kitchen upon arrival. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable, along with the common areas of the home. I highly recommend booking room 5 if it's available as it has a private bathroom, personal entrance from the deck and is located on the main floor. It's near the kitchen and faces the parking area, which you may hear people as they come in when they're arriving for the night (it didn't bother me). Breakfast is lovely and you'll have an opportunity to chat with Christina and Troy as they're very hospitable and down-to-earth. The location is safe, quiet and easily accessible to the highway and a short drive to many hiking trails. You will have to drive around though to get to restaurants and shopping. I highly recommend staying here if you're looking to be in the White Mountains area. Tip: Book room 5. Start in the kitchen and refer to the chalkboard for your room when checking-in. read more

We had a wonderful stay and The Sunny G! Truthfully, we had never stayed at a bed and breakfast prior to our stay here but we were very pleased. The owner/operators were friendly and helpful. They offered recommendations of places to visit and eat. We were also very happy with our breakfast as well as our room. It was comfortable and extremely clean. The location was also great. Love this place. My husband and I chose this place to stay for our 5 night vacation to the White Mountains. Troy and Christina are superb hosts and extremely friendly and helpful. Feel free to ask them for any tips and suggestions for your plans for the day. The rooms are very clean and beds are very comfy with super soft sheets. Suite 2 has a lovely jacuzzi tub that is perfect after a long day of hiking. Breakfast is amazing and absolutely delicious. I got stuffed French toast every morning because it is that good!! Basic accommodations with warm hospitality. The Sunny G is old but comfortable and clean. It's like visiting your cool grandma's house. No TV in rooms. Heater works great. Creaky floor but it's a very old house with lots of character. Would be great to have lock on all the doors, including the bathroom. Soap in the bathroom was a downer. Great water pressure though and no running out of hit water like at grandma's:) Coffee and tea are available all day. Common kitchen serves a very tasty breakfast. Bed was comfy. Room was comfy and spacious. The owners are delightful! A big plus. If you're looking for simple no frills comfort, clean spaces, and warm company then you'll enjoy your stay. If you want a resort or an inn you can find that elsewhere. This was a great value for the price and friendly comfort. Add a few doors/locks (it's a city person's need even in this super small and safe town), tv and I'd bump up the rating no problem. read more

The best part about Troy and Christina's bed and breakfast is the breakfast. The bed not so much. I will say that my bad back woke up without any pain but that said, the mattress was very old. Or at least it felt that way. Also the sheets were blue which I don't really care for it because it's difficult to see if they are clean. It's worth mentioning that I think they were clean but blue makes it difficult. I think that's why hotels use white. The room was plenty warm and, in fact, it was a little too warm so I had to turn down the heat. But that's a good problem to have on a cold new Hampshire night. I wish the rooms had their own TV. These days it's not as big a deal because the B&B has free wi-fi so I just watched Netflix on my phone. Anyway, for the price I would go back. Troy and Christina are very nice. read more

Christina and Troy were very nice and the place was charming, but needs a few improvements. There NEEDS to be a lock on your room door that can be locked from the outside. Seriously, are you kidding me? We could not lock our room when we left for the day. There needs to be a TV in every room. Advertised as having free cable, there is only ONE TV in the common area. They need a new couch in the common area. The couch looks like it came from the transfer station. There is no microwave on the premises and no private fridge in your room. Our room had a very noisy jacuzzi tub that would only operate with extremely bright overhead lights and obnoxiously noisy fan. Not very romantic. The bed and linens were old. Linens did not match. The included breakfast was very good. I would like to reiterate, the hosts were wonderful people... but I will not be back. I expected more for the price. read more

Everything about this B&B was thoughtful, going to small extra step to make our weekend getaway that much more special. The innkeeper was out when we arrived, but we easily found the note in the entryway saying our room was upstairs (room #4). The breakfast area has coffee out all day, and the living room had great travel guides, snacks laid out, wine on a side table that you could help yourself to, and low music was playing. Very welcoming! Upstairs, there was a cabinet with essentials (I'd forgotten a hair brush) The bed was newer and plush. There were bathrobes on the bed. Good water pressure in the shower. There was even a little decanter of brandy and two small glasses next to the bed! This place thought of everything. The breakfast was amazing. Omelettes to order, bacon, and pumpkin walnut pancakes that were to die for! Juice, coffee, and pastries were laid out to help yourself while you waited for the meal. Nice conversation with some other travelers. It doesn't take a lot to make things just a little more special, and this place had the touch. I would definitely come back and recommend. Good for couples, but also family friendly (there was a family with kids when we were there). read more

I've stayed at a few B&B's but none has had quite the personality and charm that Sunny Grange had to offer. From the owners to the guests that are staying with you and the town that is in. It's all a very charming setting. Christina and Troy really put their best foot forward in providing all that their guests need. Breakfast with an actual breakfast not the "Continental Cop Out!" They give great direction to the activities in the area. The place is very well kept and in order and these two are in Love and it shows in their work. Considering it was our first bed and breakfast experience, my boyfriend and I were a little apprehensive. Troy and Christina have a very welcoming home, super clean and cozy- and are very friendly hosts! It's an old home but that's exactly what makes it homey and inviting. Missed breakfast but I do have to say it smelled delicious. Comfortable bed and air conditioning which is always a plus. I've had two comfortable stays at the Sunny Grange. Tami is an excellent innkeeper and a wonderful cook and dessert chef. I believe we stayed in the same room twice Suite #2 which has a Jacuzzi tub and a big comfortable bed. There's a common room on the first floor with internet access, book and games. Breakfast at this B&B was superb and we met some great people also staying the night. For a little extra, Tami will also make a made to order dessert served in your room. There's not much in the area, but if you visit during the winter months, there's a place nearby that offers romantic sleigh rides through the woods. read more

This was a wonderful bed & breakfast! From the moment we got there we were welcomed by warm hospitality and comfortable accommodations. The decor was adorable, the room was spacious and cozy, and the breakfasts were beyond belief. Our favorite was the raisin bread french toast topped with apples and cream cheese. The bread is from a local bakery and it makes all the difference. Payment was easy and non-stressful as they use the square. We will definitely be staying there again. My fiance and I stayed at Sunny Grange for a second time this past weekend (he proposed there! woo hoo!) Sunny Grange is nothing short of amazing. It's perfect for the quick getaway from the city- it's very laid back and relatively simple, but has everything you could possibly want from a bed and breakfast! The attention to detail is amazing. Each room is different in character, but comes with huge fluffy terrycloth bathrobes, high quality linens, and even some brandy for a night cap! The common room has a collection of VHS tapes to play there or in your room (it's adorably retro), along with wine and munchies whenever you want them. The suite style rooms have huge whirlpool tub/showers and wood stove fireplaces, with separate sitting rooms and king size beds, for a very reasonable price. All the rooms are super cozy. Breakfast is also delicious. Tami is an excellent cook, and is very friendly and welcoming. Tim is also extremely welcoming. When we arrived on both occasions, no one was in the house, but it's very easy to find your room given the list on the counter when you enter. One thing to note- there are no keys to get in your room (or the house). I'm somewhat paranoid in general and I was completely fine with it- the place is in a very safe location and I actually really preferred the simplicity of no locks. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a cozy, affordable, and relaxing getaway. read more

We spent President' Day weekend there. It was full, but not noisy. The place is a lovely little house right along RT 175 which makes it easy to find and is close to everything, but being right on RT 175 means some road noise. The host is only there in the mornings. She doesn't live on site. But there is an emergency number if you need to reach her. She leaves a welcome note on the counter and stocks the 'fridge and leaves out snacks. There is a comfortable sitting area with a pc, magazines, and VCR movies. *NOTE* Our room #4 only had a VCR, not a DVD, so the movies we brought we couldn't watch. But we found good VCR movies to watch and had a good time. The bedroom was neat, clean, and had some interesting furniture. Beautiful wrought iron bedframe. Attached private bath was clean and sunlit with a skylight. The bed was a problem for me. It was very soft! I need a firm mattress. In fact the Friday afternoon we got their I had pulled a muscle in my back. Unfortunately the soft bed exacerbated it. The breakfasts were very good. Not supper fancy or gourmet, but very good. We had banana pancakes with caramelized walnuts one morning, and I had an omelette the next. My GF had the orange French Toast. I'm not into French Toast, but the bite I tried was very good. The hostess (Tami) is very accommodating and will make whatever you like. She offers sides of bacon, toast, sausage, etc to go with breakfast. I recommend the place, but probably won't go back unless I can get a firm bed. read more

The best kept secret in Waterville Valley area! Sunny Grange B&B and its new owners/ innkeepers. Troy and Christine are absolutely wonderful and accommodating. Sunny Grange is a perfect example of an old New England style Inn, with all the original architecture, well preserved floors and fireplaces. Located in a quaint small town setting with views of fields across the way and church belles ringing on Sunday morning. The water trough at the front dating back to early 1900's and still running! Nice fire-pit and barn. The breakfast is absolutely amazing!! Very close to Welch Dicky loop (absolutely my favorite hike in the area).. I strongly recommend it! read more

The Sunny Grange is hands down the only option when staying near the White Mountains. Christina and Troy's hospitality was exemplary. We stayed here for 3 nights and 4 days and did not want to leave solely because we did not want to leave Troy and Christina. The Bed and Breakfast was recently remodeled and has a beautiful kitchen and dining room in addition to a living room with a huge TV. We stayed in Suite 2 which had an awesome jacuzzi bathtub and a comfy king bed. We had the utmost privacy. I miss the place already. We WILL be back in a few weeks. This is definitely our only option for staying in New Hampshire from here on out. Had an awesome time and the Sunny Grange only made it better! read more

I believe this review is for the new owners of the Sunny Grange. Newly remodeled, painted and decorated. Owners Troy and Christina were as sweet as could be and very very accommodating. First nite in room three was a little hot, even with the fan going, they offered to buy an AC! Other than the humid night we experienced, this room would be great in all the other seasons. It did not have an attached bath, but a private bath and shower were across a short hall, Nicely finished and immaculate. The second night we moved to room 6. What a great spot that was. This house has 7 rooms all with secret passages and doorways. Room 6 was in another section of the house and was quite private. Big room, nice shower/sink area too. A/C in the window just took the humidity out and was perfect.Looked at all the rooms, each one done up very nicely. Common living room with a large screen HD TV. Comfy couch and chairs, great fireplace too. Troy wrangles a mean omelet for breakfast, a huge over stuffed work of art. Good coffee and nice kitchen bar area to wake up to... Stuffed French toast was also first rate. A campfire - just off the lovely deck area - the first night with a glass of wine (we'd brought) was a night cap to enjoy. Cannot say enough nice things about this place and the owners. If you're visiting any of the nearby lakes or schools, this is a wonderful place to relax. Good wi-fi too! Try the little grocery store across the street should you need anything while in the area. They still rent DVD's there! read more

Awesome place in the New Hampshire mountains. This was a last-minute booking so we could ski at Loon for the day. The hosts were very accommodating of our 9 PM arrival and we had no issue finding our room. The house is very cozy and our room (#6) was plenty big for two people. The home-cooked breakfast was delicious too! Overall, we had a quick overnight stay here but I'd highly recommend it. read more
