Decent Pie! Not 5 star pie, but good. That is hard to find in Eugene. The crust is fantastic but the sauce is a little mild for my taste. I'm going to have to try the Stromboli and the brunch from here some time to see if that is where all the hype is coming from. My wife and I stopped real fast to grab a couple slices and shortly after sitting down we got a call and had to leave right away. My wife went to get some sort of a to-go container (like a small box etc) and we got the impression they really didn't want to give anything up. Stopping here on our way home from the park for a quick slice. Exceptional pizza with unique topping combinations. The slices are HUGE. You'll only need one. It's got a great location for a food truck - free street parking, across from a small market, quiet neighborhood. The seating is a couple picnic tables in the shade. Just witnessed the employee (manager?) confront a patron, yelling and calling them names over some disagreement. It's very embarrassing and unprofessional that he raised his voice and demeaned another person in front of the patrons of all the trucks. My Eugene pizza quest continues! Bartolotti's probably ties the wonders of Oregon Wood-Fired Pizza. I haven't tried Sy's yet, so I can't say if Bartolotti's is the New-Yorkiest, as they claim, but currently the frontrunners by a far margin for favorite pizza in Eugene are both trucks. The crust has that nice, thin chewiness, with a fluffy dough bolster round the edge (a must! how can Al Taglio call themselves NY-style without one?). As fine a pie as you'll find anywhere. This was a total disappointment, the server was super rude and said it would take an hour to make a pizza. She was visibly upset at having too many customers. Very sad situation. Whoever owns this place should train someone at least in the basics of customer service and hire more then one girl to run the whole thing. read more

My father is in a rehab/nursing home recovering from a serious surgery. Dad has been losing weight (not eating) to the point that the facility said he could eat outside food. I asked pops what he would want? After we figured out that lobster was not doable we came up with pasta and meat balls. I poked around and found Bartolotti's which was about a mile from the facility. The nice staff lady said the owner would call me back after I inquired into delivery. To my surprise the owner called right away. Although delivery is not the norm the owner said no problem and that he would do this. My dad LOVED the spaghetti and meat balls and ate almost all of them. The cost, for the two dishes, was surprisingly low for a total of $16. There was no delivery fee and the meal came with a big side dish of kind compassion. My faith in the human race was re-established. I will be visiting soon (live in San Diego) and will be going to Bartolotti's! read more

Had Sunday breakfast at Bartolotti's and it was one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. I had the Pork Verde Chilaquiles. The pork was exceptionally flavorful and the other toppings fresh and tasty. A friend had the Pain Perdu, basically really fancy french toast, which was also delicious. As another reviewer said Friendly Street Market is right across the street so there are plenty of options for beverages to go with your meal. Definitely will return back for breakfast again sometime soon and also to try a pizza since the breakfast was so good. read more

I have started choosing other options due to the fact that most slices have lots of big chunks of garlic. There will often be no vegetarian options without garlic, it's just too much. This is unfortunate as it is close to our house and I would go there more often. read more
