Horrible horrible horrible!!! Stay away from them!!! First of all employees hated Ana and told me she doesn't know what she's talking about the day of our daughter's birthday. I had only 30 guests including kids at my daughter's birthday they charged me $2330 for grill ice cream and game boot. I paid for 80 hot dogs and burgers the employees hide the burgers and didn't put them on the grill and when I emailed Ana her responded to me " because you had other food " basically they get your money and hide the food!!! The employees didn't want to bother their self and do anything! They saved hot dogs for their self and keep eating instead of serving my guests. They charged me $400 for game boot occupied my space 10 by 10 and look how they set it up! I told my guests to get some food for their kids to eat on the way home but they already packed everything in their truck before their 3 hours! read more

My neighbor use Bartscarts services for one of her kids birthday, Bartscarts truck had to block the sidewalk on a Sunday where families walk with their kids and pets and would like to use their Right Of Way and not put their life in danger by going around on the main and very dangerous street. To unload or load the truck there was enough room to pull the truck in the driveway and keep the sidewalk clear. Also, the next door neighbor put outside on her little wall a box with lemons from her tree for neighbors and people who walk through to take, she does it when ever her tree is productive so she share. Bartscarts truck driver or owner 'decide' in the most selfishness act and selfishness way not to be satisfied with couple or few he decide to take the entire box and put it in his truck. I worked with Barts carts for an event. I ordered the mini donut stand as well as a lemonade stand. The lemonade stand has options of syrup or freshly squeezed. The freshly squeezed option only works for smaller parties, so we got the syrup. It was good lemonade, but not necessarily worth the price tag (and we asked for water service -- which was $1 a bottle). I highly recommend the mini donut stand though!! It was a hit at the party. They do require a bit of power, so keep that in mind. I would definitely order from Barts Carts again as the people were professional and great to work with! read more

Terrible communication and organization. I spoke to Ana 2 months in advance and was given verbal confirmation that my reservation for that specific date was confirmed. When I reached back out to make sure that everything was in place I was told by someone else that they never booked my date and they can see that I talked to Ana and they would have her call me. For over 2 weeks I was waiting for Ana to call me without any contact. We ran low on strawberry margarita mix on Saturday afternoon and were able to re up our syrup supply Saturday evening from the owner Brett for Sunday. Outstanding customer service. We ordered 2 nights of Churro carts for our May Fiestas. We had crowds of 200+ and everyone loved the dessert! We mostly catered the event ourselves, but having someone dedicated to making french fries and onion rings as side dishes was both festive and convenient. Reservations are easy, I was able to reserve a cart within 5 days of the event. Setup was mostly effortless, though you may want a couple burly men to help move the carts into place if you only have one attendant and have some uneven terrain/stairs to grapple with. Terrible Service - Do Not Stand Behind The Sale I have used Barts Carts on a few different occasions - most recently for our annual summer tacos & margaritas party. Different from last year, they now charge an extra delivery fee because I live outside their delivery area. That was okay, I accepted the fee. Having used them before, I requested the cook/delivery person we'd previously worked with, which was confirmed. Then, came the day of my event - different cook/delivery person and a margarita machine that did not work. It was an hour before the function, I had 50 guests arriving and the delivery person called his owner. The owner recommended some fixes for the machine, none which worked. 15 minutes before my party began, I spoke with the owner who basically said "sorry, but I can't get you another machine - you live too far and I didn't staff anyone extra today - might I suggest you not waste the tequila and serve them over ice" -- so, instead of enjoying the party with my guests, I spent the entire afternoon/evening, blending margaritas. His attitude was deplorable - will never use the company again, nor would I recommend to anyone ever because they are totally unreliable. read more

We can only speak for the ice cream cart, as we know Bart's Carts has several services. We were promised a hot fudge sundae cart, and basically received (JUST) vanilla ice cream cart with toppings we could have picked up ourselves at Vons. What's more-- there was no hot fudge. We called a few days later asking for compensation. The deal was that we'd use their services again, but get a significant discount the next time. When the next invoice came in, the compensation was minimal. We're sure that for specialty items, Bart's Carts is great. But in our opinion, you aren't getting anything special in terms of ice cream. The pizza's weren't that great. The appearance was horrible which is why I wanted to do a taste test. They also ran out of peperoni :/ The pizza look like they were just slapped together and sauce and cheese dropped in the middle. Grease was just pooled on top. read more

We hired Bart's Carts for a company Oktoberfest, and the pretzel cart really made the event! The pretzels were tasty (we bought some more interesting mustards for people to use) and the attendant was awesome. We ordered the cart like two days before the event, so the fact that they were able to accommodate us on such short notice was great in and of itself. You also can't beat their prices.
