Everything went above and beyond and without exaggeration, the food was sensational and plentiful! So grateful for Yelp, that I was able to find this incredible business!! From my initial inquiry, Junior's response time was almost instantaneous and remained so during our prep to final transaction. You definitely get a lot of bang for your buck. All of my headcount showed and there was still enough leftovers that I was able to give meals to two families. Everyone raved at how delicious it was, as well as, how professional and kind our Chef was. Literally, it was perfection! We hired Ask 4 Tacos for my daughter's birthday party with about 50 guests, and they were absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, communication during the booking process was prompt, professional, and incredibly easy. The tacos were delicious! They were fresh, flavorful, and cooked on site. The tacos came with beans, rice, cilantro, onions, and three different types of salsa, all of which were fresh and very tasty. Our guests kept going back for seconds and were raving about the food throughout the party. A special shoutout to Ernesto, our taco man for the event. He was so friendly, super nice, and provided excellent service to all of our guests. He made the experience seamless and enjoyable. Had Ask 4 Tacos catering at my daughters 5th grade graduation party a few weeks ago. They're my go-to for one of my friends and figured i would give them a try. They did not disappoint! Omar and Lucy came early to set up and spent an hour cooking all the food so it's fresh. The quality of the meat, the spicy salsa and the guacomole were all on point and could not have asked for it to be better. I only ordered for 50 people but ended up having over 70 show up so we ran out of chicken.. but barely (still had some pork and beef leftover!). It was my fault for underordering and still Omar was so apologetic. He even offered to drive back to home base and bring more chicken. I couldn't believe it. I did not take him up on it because we were near the end of the party, but he and Lucy are great and truly take a customer first approach. This is the second year I've hired Ask 4 Tacos Catering. They were excellent in every possible way. First, the customer service is top notch with great communication, friendly and personable. They handle setup and clean up very well and everything is a breeze. Second, the food is excellent. We had the best tacos (beef, chicken, pork), rice, beans, cheese quesadillas, salsas, chips, and veggie fajitas. The veggie fajitas, beans, rice, and salsas presented great options for the vegetarians/vegans in your group. I felt the price was just right for a party of 35 people. He responds quickly and the booking process is seamless. This time around our server was Jorge. He arrived early and set up all the food and equipment in an orderly and beautiful fashion. I've used Ask4Tacos at least a half dozen times for backyard parties and I absolutely love this taco caterer! Michael, our chef/server for the day, arrived early (which I appreciated!) and did a fantastic job. The food was fresh and delicious! Michael was gracious and cleaned up afterwards, leaving us the leftovers. All of my guests raved about the tacos! Silver Spoons made everything happen, put the numerous gorgeous bouquets that people brought away in the perfect vases, which Scott or his team somehow found on their own without bothering me. And Scott Tessler and his team all talked to our guests in such a nice way. It was fun to have them there. We have used Silver Spoons intermittently over the years - for our daughter's wedding in Malibu in 2015, and now again, to introduce her baby to our friends and family. I appreciated how organized and professional that part of the experience was. Unfortunately, there were a couple things this time that really didn't sit well with me. As the host of a party, I'm constantly moving around and making sure everything is running smoothly. As he was getting ready to leave, he asked me about a tip. I had every intention of tipping, but being asked directly felt uncomfortable and a little awkward. Then asked about the final payment. I told him I would send the payment through Zelle, he left--but came back shortly after to ask if I had sent it yet. I was still in the middle of hosting and hadn't had a chance to do it. It put me in an uncomfortable position, and my guests even started noticing and wondering what was going on. He apologized several times and explained it was the owner's policy, and I understand he may have been following instructions, but I ended up having to stop what I was doing during the party to send payment immediately. Afterward I checked the invoice and saw final payment was due the day of the event, which I completely understand. I just would have much preferred payment to be collected upfront upon arrival rather than being stopped during hosting while trying to manage guests. The food this time was also just okay--not as great as our first experience. I appreciate Alba's communication and the taco man effort, but unfortunately this experience felt very different from the first, and I won't be using Yummy Tacos again.

The shrimp on skewer sticks I felt were a little dry and plain so I don't recommend this as highly as the other items. Sheperd's pie was made from a ground beef layer along with a top layer of mashed sweet potato. The potato layer was very delicious, but the bottom meat layer could have used a little less salt IMO. Overall I had a very positive experience, and even my kids sampled a little of everything. They echoed my sentiments, except for the sheperd's pie, which my daughter was not a fan of.

All our family and friends loved the food and kept getting more. Lucky for us the price for the food was within our budget. He arrived earlier than planned but did stay until the arranged time. Had Ask 4 Tacos cater a lunch today for about 250 very hungry construction workers. Daniel, Gio and Ernesto were early, set up quickly and were ready for the crowd. They were very professional and friendly; they fed everyone fast with many going for seconds and thirds (also had some leftovers). The food was very yummy! We arrived around 10:45 on a Friday morning, still a little early, and from the start they made us feel welcome. They told us about the special of the day, helped us get settled, and treated us with the kind of hospitality that instantly puts you at ease. The owner spent time talking with us, and none of it felt rushed or forced. We had a great conversation about his background in the airline industry, how he got into catering, and how the business has grown to serve several companies in the area, including at LAX. It felt less like a quick stop for tacos and more like being welcomed into a place built with pride, hard work, and real personality. That feeling carried through the whole visit. He mentioned getting up at 3 in the morning to work out before starting his cooking day, and you could tell right away this is someone who puts everything he has into what he does. His mother was there as well, which made the whole place feel even more personal and special. In my very broken Spanish, I made sure to tell her how good the food was, because it truly was. And the food absolutely lived up to the experience. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. When we tried to get clarification, calls went unreturned, messages were ignored, and we never once got a straight answer on whether they would even show up to our event. That last part is the real problem. Not knowing if your caterer is confirmed or a no-show is not a risk worth taking when you have an event full of people counting on food being there. We ended up going with a different caterer who communicated clearly, confirmed everything on time, and executed without a hitch. Night and day difference. Communication is the bare minimum in any service business. If a company can't handle that before you've even paid them, don't expect it to improve after.

I do not recommend using angel city taco. They arrived an hour late, took about an hour and half on…read morethe grill. My party started at 5 pm, and food was not ready until 7:30 pm. We had about 140 guests and only one person was making the taco. At 8:30 pm, they packed and left. We barely got half of what we paid for.
