I have been in Rockaway Beach looking for work and stopped to get a late lunch and early dinner. I had passed this place multiple times as I was going in and out of town. There were always cars at the business. I made a mental note and knew I needed to stop for a meal at some point on this trip. Today was the day. I ordered the three taco plate with salsa and avocado. OMG it tasted so good. These were some of the best street tacos I have had to date. Everything was made on the spot. Absolutely loved the flavor. They are doing it right! The gentleman that helped me was soo nice. He offered additional Saldo but wanted to know what my spice level was. I got the medium level salsa and the tomatillo green sauce. It was perfect! Well done!

It was part of our honeymoon and a phenomenal experience!! We stayed there the third week of July and had the best weather and time. We will definitely return.

#12 Oops ate a taco before I took the photo lol (Shredded beef-2 tacos, rice and beans).

I ordered #12 combo, with shredded beef! It tasted freshly made, textures were fantastic, and tasted so delicious! Thank you!

Menu. Call ahead!!

So at 6:45 on the Thursday of Spring Break Princess and her BFF got tired of playing on the beach and declared they were starving. I eyed them. Sand. Lots of sand. Most restaurants in Rockaway close around 8, so I knew our choices were limited. I had warned them as much around 5, 6, and 6:15. What do you two want? PIZZA. Uh huh. Not a lot of places to get that in Rockaway. My city kid: Isn't there Domino's? No babe. My trusty yelp app sent us here. We arrived at 6:59. The lights were off, there was a group of chatting people in the open doorway, and there were floor cleaning machines next to them. Uh oh. A really friendly lady said " What do you need dear?" "Pizza?" Despondently. She answered pizza was done for today unless I wanted her to put one together for us to bake ourselves (We had no oven in the motel). "That's ok. We will figure it out". We had chips and hummus. We would be ok. She sweetly went and got a menu for me and explained it to me for next time advising that I call ahead. She also noted if we didn't like the toppings they'd customize it for us. If they bake it for you it is an extra $2. She didn't have to do any of that. I mean they were closed. She was so nice. I liked her. So even though we didn't eat here I would say go here. They are super nice even to tourists. We did find groceries and made dinner. Pizza next time though.

This is a great little store. They have all the stuff you might expect at a coastal convenience store beer soda ice cream and some hot snacks under the glass. The reason why they get five stars because they have really good people and great pizza that you can order either unbaked or baked lots of toppings and crispy buttery crust.

Best pizza I've had in awhile.

We are staying at a nearby property on vacation and stumbled upon some surprisingly excellent pizza here. Got a combo for myself and my husband and a half pepperoni/half cheese for the kids. One piece and I was completely stuffed. It's been a long time since I've seen a pizza loaded like this was. Tasty garlic-y crust to boot. Two big thumbs up, and now we have leftovers for the rest of our stay.

well stocked fishing, crabbing, and clamming area.

I checked out the store after the remodel on Memorial Day weekend to find it well stocked with fishing, crabbing, and clamming gear as well as smiling faces.

This is the best port in Tillamook bay for crabbing and accessing the ocean…read more It offers 4 boat launch lanes, ample free parking for cars, $10 boat launch/trailer parking fee, free life preservers to borrow, and convenient nearby bait shops, restaurants, and restrooms. Also there's now a nearby food cart pod just off highway 101, so you'll have lunch/dinner covered if you don't have much luck fishing/crabbing.

Interesting reviews for this little town. Three stars because most places are closed on…read moreSunday?!?!? Maybe the hard working folks in this town need a day off? Or they are at church giving thanks? The pile of lumber the karen complained about is apparently long gone. I've been coming here a few times a year for the past 35 years or so and I can't say that I've ever seen her opinion of an eyesore. And creosote is not especially harmful unless you consume it in large quantities. So let's talk about the good in Garibaldi and there is plenty of that here. Not a lot of places to eat but there are a few. With the scamdemic dining options are more limited but I'm sure the shop owners are suffering a lot more than their hungry wannabe patrons. The OCSR runs daily excursion trains daily during summer hours up to Rockaway. They also do very limited availability runs up to Salmonberry if you are lucky enough to get on one of those. The track bed gets increasingly rough as the years go by and that line did go all the way to Banks (and perhaps to Hillsboro if I recall correctly) not that long ago. The marina is great. I don't happen to have a boat but I love going there and talking to the skippers of old wooden vessels and taking photographs. These sailors come from all over and are mostly very friendly and happy to chat with dumb tourists like myself. The only negative, and it's really not a serious negative due to safety reasons but there is often a cop with radar at either end of town. I don't know what the limit is for actually getting a ticket but a small amount of inattention could potentially spoil your whole day. Of course if you run someone over because you are speeding that would spoil their whole day so..... Garibaldi is one of my favorite little towns along 101 and I've run the length of it from the Olympic peninsula to California.
