YIKES! Super bummed to have been treated so poorly. When you think small coastal town with a tourist attraction like a scenic train depot stop, you think friendly, quaint, happy to support small business - well, I do at least! Our family did the Oregon Coast Scenic train from Rockaway Beach to Girbaldi. The layover in Girbaldi was very short, 25 mins, and we were looking to grab a quick bite and water. The conductor suggested the Girbaldi Bay Market. The markets 'deli' was closed (it was 330p) but had pre-made sandwiches to choose from. The slender, short, light brown haired lady at the register came over asking if we needed help, we asked about the made to order sandwiches and were told only the pre-made ones were available. Ok, fine. Then asked about the advertised fried chicken, that was also not available. Alright. So then one would assume there was nothing more to 'help' us with. We say thank you and carry on. As we are sorting thru the medicore selections, the lady is standing there staring at us with her scanner in hand with an obviously annoyed look on her face, LIT.ER.AL.LY rolls her eyes, whispers something negative to the other cashier and goes back to her sheets of barcodes. I apologize for not knowing what we wanted and she just stares at me as if I was inconveinencing her by bringing her business. I don't want to assume this treatment is reserved for 'outsiders' or those with more melanin but it makes you wonder. Having a heavy service industry background I'm always taken aback when confronted with unprovoked rudeness. I can't speak for the rest of this small town but I would recommend getting your liquor, deli, small market needs at the next gas station (Cheveron) or better yet - just blow through this dying town altogether. read more

Sky high prices, checker needs to hold a gun on you While you pay. Not joking, $3.79 can of Campbell's soup $3.79 per pound of tomatoes $6.99 for 8 ounce jar of mayo go back to Tillamook to Fred Meyers don't get robbed. read more

Horrible. Rude. Unprofessional. The weird lady with dirty dreads and ugly teeth pulled down her mask in the store and approached me within literally a foot of me to try talking to me. Each time I've went in there they've provided the worst customer service I've ever experienced. And I go to hundreds of different stores to audit. They didn't want to be audited even though they are a client of the company I contract with. Must be hiding something. Probably serving up horse meat or having undocumented people work for them / paying under the table. Maybe they are embarrassed about how trashy their store is. Not sure. It's one thing to be questionable about an auditor but to completely disregard covid protocol and disrespect me at the same time is beyond me. Leave this place to rot in their shitty little town. read more

This place is good for all your basic needs. Everyone is friendly and helpful if you need anything you can't find yourself! It's a small shop but if you don't want to run all the way to tillamook this is a good place to stop. I take my kids here all the time they have a great snack selection! read more
