It was my first time at the Knack and I will be back and I will tell all my friends. The food was delicious! I have been craving a grilled hotdog all Summer and it was just as I imagined. It was just like I cooked it on the grill. The girl behind the counter was writing exactly what we wanted and she came through with just what we told her. The place was super clean and the bathroom was immaculate. My daughter got a clam with bellies on a grilled hot dog roll yummy my next visit will definitely be a Clam Roll Sandwich. An amazing lobster roll! We've driven by this on the way to the Hyline boat a million times. I thought it was like an Urban Outfitters, until we started singing 'My Sharona' and my bride looked it up. Pleasantly surprised that it was a seafood place. Well, burgers and dogs too, but I'm a pescatarian so... The onion rings are incredible... like the old A&W on Route 139 in Marshfield in the 1970s. Service was great. Plenty of parking too - just watch carefully before you get back on the main road to get to 6. Prices were reasonable. Very big and large facility, and it looks like it could have been designed by an architect during the COVID Crisis of 2020 meaning it is very roomy. read more

A very casual burger spot in hyannis. The patties are a bit small, so order a double if you're really hungry. If you want fries, make sure to order it separately since the burgers don't come with fries. The burgers were okay. Theres also some shakes as well if you want something sweet to drink. I gave four stars to not mess up the algorithm and they give them the benefit of the doubt. We came here, explicitly for the lobster roll due to the positive reviews, and even a couple of locals told us the night before that it was a good place for them. between tax and tip... It was $30 & extremely underwhelming. It had no seasoning, but we shrugged, maybe it's supposed to just have a clean taste like it's from the ocean and no one did anything to it? I don't know, but I have zero desire to ever return to have a lobster roll. in other news, we were the only people eating a lobster roll that we could see, everyone else was having piles of onion rings and fish sandwiches and chicken fingers and fries and burgers... My wife joked that maybe we were the ones choosing the wrong item and everybody else was getting the better food. So that's why I gave it four stars, in case everything else is better. positive: the lobster was huge clumps of claw meat. That part is true! This was a really nice fast casual spot. We just shared a lobster roll since we were still somewhat full from breakfast at Keltic Kitchen. The service was great, the place was very clean. I planned my whole day around going to the knack because I was craving their fried fish sandwich. And now that I'm back in the Boston area, I am sorely missing the Knack and their fried fish sandwich. I love the location in Orleans and I knew I wanted to give them a try in the Hyannis location and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the Hyannis location is ginormous. It's really easy to order and the people at the pickup window are very friendly and nice. It's a very clean establishment and there is a lot of dining area so people can eat there indoors and there's a nice outdoor dining area as well. I will be back. I wish there was a Boston location because I would be going there at least once a month just for this fried fish sandwich. In fact, I'm looking on Yelp right now for fried fish sandwiches in the area and nothing is coming close to what I get at the knack. The fish is perfect. The homemade pickle cucumber is perfect. The tartar sauce is perfect. The bread is soft and delicious. I don't know why people get the burgers but I bet the burgers are really good, because to me, the star of the show is the fried fish sandwich. Cape traffic sucks so I tried to beat it by leaving at around 8:30 a.m. and spending my morning at the Maritime museum in Hyannis before the knack opened at 11:00 and then I got my lunch and headed to where I needed to be for the afternoon. Highly recommend leaving early in the morning and finding something nice to do rather than leaving at noon and sitting at a bunch of traffic. read more
